Old tyme feed is a wonderful place to shop for all things garden and more. Mulch, top soil, a lot or a little always fresh. Beautiful plants, shrubs and trees. Everything thing at the store comes with expert advice and very friendly service. Cecil, linda, wes, chris snd the crew will do whatever they can to help you. Go once once and youll keep going back.

It's the friendliest place you'll ever visit. They are such caring and helpful people that own it and that work there. They go above and beyond to make sure there customers are happy and very satisfied when they visit.

Being new to Fairhope and having visited several nurseries, they definitely have THE healthiest plants and flowers around. I could spend hours there just wandering and looking at the beautiful plants, trees and flowers. Everyone has been soooooo friendly and very happy to answer any and all questions I have.....they don’t mind taking the time to speak with me. This is now my “to go” place for any and all yard needs....I wish I could work there but would end up owing them money every payday because I want so many of their flowers and plants!

Everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable. I canceled my TruGreen service and started getting supplies from Cecil. My lawn looks great. No more dollar weed thanks to Old Tyme Seed and feed.

The owner is very helpful and friendly. He was extremely knowledgeable about everything they sell from feed for my chicks to plants for the garden. Prices are spot on too ! I'm a loyal customer for sure

My wife likes this place. She knows more about plants than I do. We go here because they sell plants that she can't find anywhere else. They do have a nice variety of plants, but the place is kind of small so not a large amount of any.

Great place to get plants not to mention friendly advice. Excellent selection of seeds for garden or bulk. Theirs is fresh. If you are a border, they're Old Tyme Mix is the very best for all varieties.

Been hunting relentlessly for Owari Satsuma tree,plus a certain plum tree. Found both there bestest price,best selection. Go there,as no need to waste ur time looking at other places.

The customer service was SUPERIOR. I never stopped there because their plants were so beautil I thought for sure they would be very expensive. Shock! They were cheaper than what I paid at the "big box store" last week! The folks are all so knowledgeable. And no question is stupid to them.

Super friendly and always happy to provide advice on landscape maintenance and problems. They stock plants, shrubs, small trees, fertilizer, and pesticides that are for our unique climate (unlike the one-size-fits-all big box garden centers). I've been a regular customer for over a decade and have always left happy with my experience with Cecil and his team.

This locally owned business is a treasure. Great selection of products and plants with friendly and HELPFUL staff. There is no need to visit the surly-staffed big box stores.

I love Old Tyme! Friendly service. You have a lawn/plant or garden pest question they answer it. If they don't have it they try to order it for you. My Dad also loves this place and always goes there for stuff instead of going anywhere else. Cecil is a wonderful person!

After my soil test returned, I received a call to pickup results. They reviewed and explained the results a provided a list of what was needed to get my yard back in shape. They then loaded the items in my vehicle and off I went. All within 15 minutes. Everyone is always pleasant and personable. They truly appreciate their customers.

Great selection of plants but outside customer service needs attention. Lady never acknowledged us or asked if we needed help.

There is no better business to support than a local one where the owner takes pride in helping each person. Cecil is just the coolest dude. Always makes sure to say hello. His knowledge on yard care is second to none. I am not a pro, and I don't know the difference between good/bad products. He seems to have tested every product in his store himself, and can give good, plain English, help without having to sift through tons of products and reading labels. I've always had great success with his rec's.
Love coming here for my mulch and pine straw too.

Cool nursery and sooooo many different plants! They also have all the tools! We weren't quite ready to purchase too many things yet since we haven't started redoing our landscaping yet. But, I did get a planter with several different plants and it's lovely. They were extremely helpful and nice. And patient. Love this place!

Real old-timey feed & seed, nice folks who run it. Besides the usual selection of a similar store they also have an esp good selection of bird houses of all types, different kinds of bird feed incl exotic pet & wild bird feed, as their resident talkative macaw will attest. I adopted my kitty cat there as they also work with the Baldwin County Cat Alliance to show various pets available for adoption.

This hardware store has everything you need and they were very nice and I like the parrot 🦜 he speak when you come in the door
