I have used several lawn care services in the area and this is hands down the best lawn company out of all of them!! James was responsive, professional and very respectable. However it is his work that will keep me as a returning customer!! My yard has NEVER looked this good out of all the other landscapers in the area!! The attention to detail he gave to my yard was incredible. He even spent time ensuring that he kept the bushes free of pine straw and he fluffed the straw so beautifully. Within an hour after he left I was stopped by neighbors who inquired on who did my yard! Do not waste your money or time on average lawn services- Use this guy!!

I highly recommend the Southern Anchor team! Playground wood chips are almost impossible to find in south Alabama for a small space, but James was able to work with us to secure a source and did an excellent job coordinating the delivery and installation for our backyard play space. A+ communication, responsiveness, and quality work. I wouldn't hesitate to work with the Southern Anchor team again in the future.

Very impressed with this team! We bought a home on acreage and the irrigation had not been used in several years. James worked so hard (even in the rain), to evaluate and repair 10 irrigation zones spanning many acres. Excellent job. Professional. Highly skilled. Definitely recommend!

James performed a large property debris removal job on my land and did an excellent job. These areas of my property were an eye sore for years and he cleared these particular areas that opened up my property by half an acre. I am a very particular person and appreciate quality work when I see it. James not only did a quality job but is as professional as it gets. James and his crew completed sod installation and then aligned my irrigation system to my enlarged yard. Everyone was so nice and their expertise showed in the finished project. Several neighbors commented on how nice my yard looks. Highly recommend and will definitely be using their services again in the future.

We contacted James to add soil around the house and grade it properly as well as installing a sod lawn and sprinklers for four flower bed areas. He came to the house and walked through the process with us, then we confirmed all of the work that would be done through emails. His communication was excellent and clear during the process. He showed up with Nathan on time and did the work in a very professional and efficient manner. When we had questions or concerns they were immediately addressed. It's really gratifying to see someone with such an outstanding work ethic who is running his own business so professionally. We would highly recommend James for any landscaping work you need to have done.

Anchor Landscaping removed a rotting retaining wall made of wood, and replaced it with block, It was a tricky job, but James and crew worked quickly, and did an extremely professional job. Anchor Landscaping is probably the most professional, dependable company I’ve worked with in years. I’m very pleased with the results! James has the knowledge, equipment and workers to get the job done. He is fastidious in his approach and leaves the surrounding site better than when he started. He also graded some areas in the lawn, and put down sod. The sod has already taken, and is growing in beautifully. He is knowledgeable in irrigation as well, and installed new piping and sprinklers. I will post some before and after photos.

left my drive way super dirty stained with red clay, tore up my side yard with machine. Wouldn’t do anything to fix it unless i paid more very terrible service

After Hurricane Sally I lost my mobile home. Before the mobile home could be pulled away I had to have lots of large and small plants / landscaping removed. He and his team showed up and moved everything; replanting some and putting some aside for replanting later. He worked around my schedule. Will use them again.
