They have been providing landscaping maintenance services for about 5 months. I am very impressed with the excellent work the crew does each time. They clean out my leaves and trim the yard and get the low hanging limbs off my porches. I highly recommend them.

I had a estimate and design scheduled for 3pm today (Thursday appt scheduled on Monday). Rushed my son and I back home to make sure we were ready. I waited till 3:15pm and finally called. She nonchalantly said oh I'm sorry we can't make it today. Keep in mind I called her. They never called me and they had this on the book since Monday. Not only is this extremely unprofessional, but the lack of concern and care was unbelievable. I'm not sure how their work is but attitude and professionalism is everything. It seemed to be that there were other customers that were way more important and they really did not care about about this consultation.

Blue Heron did a great job installing turf at our condo. They were professional from start to finish, and left everything perfectly clean. 5 star company!

With a yard full of struggling centipede grass, we decided to call a landscaping company to help us out. Andrew at Blue Heron came out to do an assessment. We were pleased with his knowledge of what grass species performed best in our specific location and decided to go with his recommendations of Zoysia. He also provided sound reasoning for an irrigation system, and a treatment plan for the next year. We were impressed with the knowledge and work ethic of the crew. We were also impressed with their willingness to come back and address a couple of areas in our backyard that were not receiving quite enough spray by adding additional sprinkler heads. This is a good, ethical company that stands by it’s products and service.

Blue Heron has always responded immediately to any problem I have had with my landscaping and lawn mowing. My house is presently on the market and I will definitely recommend them to the new owners for continuing service.

Blue Heron sodded our front and back yard with St. Augustine. Their personnel were very professional and extremely pleasant. My wife and I are very pleased with the result of their work.

Our yard was destroyed in hurricane Sally. Blue Heron fixed our sprinkler system, which had been ripped up by falling trees, installed new sod throughout the entire yard, and replaced trees we lost. They were able to get us very large trees that look like they’ve been here for years and did a great job installing everything. They completed our job quickly and professionally. They are also doing our lawn maintenance, and the yard is perfectly manicured.

Blue Heron is the best landscape company I’ve ever used! Molly is a natural landscape artist, and Drew and their crews do an awesome job bringing the designs to life. They do a fantastic job with lawn care and maintenance, and are always super responsive. We’re customers for life!

I want to start by saying that the crew that came out to do the work was great. They did what they could with what they were told and the outcome of the project is passable.

That is where the good in this review stops. They came out quickly to give us a quote back in January. They sent us the contract, we paid our deposit immediately and we then heard nothing until the beginning of March. Calls went unreturned and emails unanswered for 6 weeks. We were finally able to get in touch with the office, who gave us a date of 3/18 and a promise that if the team could not be out that week they would give us a call. No one showed up and we didn't hear from anyone until I called again on 4/3 and left a voicemail and then called again on 4/4 and finally spoke to them. They said that the crew would be out on 4/8. When the crew arrived they didn't know what they were expected to be doing and did not have all the equipment or supplies that they needed. The office called to ask for the card information on how to charge the remaining amount owed while the service was happening. They did not provide what the balance was when I asked for it and I was told they would text me in an hour. 3 hours later I had to call and ask again.

They pulled out all the brushes we asked them to. They did not have enough sod to cover all the the yard that was ripped up and ending up needing to fill the space with pine straw. We now have a yard that we have to pay someone else to actually mow because that was not done and we have barren pine straw flower beds instead of sod... disappointing given the great things that we had heard. Their crews are likely the only thing saving their reputation.

4 month update:
Having the entire project redone because they never put down landscape paper in the flower beds. What an absolute waste of time, sanity, and money.

Blue Heron did a great job on replacing the sod and cleaning up existing beds as well as adding a new one. Very professional and engaging! Would highly recommended them!

Cooper and his crew were great! Didn’t miss on anything from the walkthrough and handled the unexpected “finds” without fuss. Highly recommend! On schedule and on budget.

I would highly recommend this company for any landscaping project it is always a delight to find a company that stands behind the work they do. I found the staff to be extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of lawn care and landscaping projects. I had them install sod as well as River Rock in my planting beds. I am extremely happy with the results of the project. I was so pleased with their service I also plan to have them take over all lawn treatments as well.

This company came out to my house and did landscaping work. It was a big job and they did a decent job. However, they backed out into my neighbors mailbox and destroyed it and I have called the company numerous times and they still haven’t fixed it and it’s been over three months. This is such an embarrassment.

Always on time, leave the job site clean and neat, and always do a great job at a fair price. Highly recommend!

We used Blue Heron for a huge project in our backyard where we tore out existing tile, turf, and pine straw around our pool to create a circumferential travertine patio with retaining wall & elevated landing for a hot tub. It turned out amazing… Every single day I go outside and fall in love with it all over again. The company is family run and was impeccably professional from start to finish. As with all big projects, some unforeseen circumstances were encountered throughout the process but we were always kept informed and allowed to stay in charge of decision making. The whole experience was positive all around and we will be definitely using them again as we continue to slowly renovate the outdoor spaces around our home. We are also using them for our lawn maintenance needs as well and have nothing but good things to say. Highly recommend!!!

I wanted to add that the lawn guys do a great job on our lawn and always work around whatever yard project I have going and they do it with great care. They also do a nice job trimming my shrubs. We recently got their irrigation guy to repair our sprinklers. Thanks to Gary for adding some new heads and getting it running again!

I could not be more pleased with our community's dam and spill basin! They turned a dangerous eyesore into an attractive landscape and water feature that also serves to improve the water quality and lake environment. It is exactly as we had discussed and I imagined. They are VERY attentive to their custoners and were excellent communicators (a very big deal). Andrew, Molly and Cooper were very pleasant to work with. Blue Heron rules!

They were professional and responsive to all requests. Molly was also helpful in getting us samples and coordinating the install.
