Paul and his guys are awesome! They were so respectful, very professional, and kind. Easy to work with and gave great suggestions since I had to completely landscape my yard which was deteriorating. They updated my sprinkler system, added fresh topsoil and sod. Efficient and completed in a few days. Plus they came back by within a week to check on things. I plan to continue to use their lawn care services.

I contacted Paul Kent owner of Southern Exposure Landscaping for some yard improvements, of all the companies I’m so glad he was one to respond. He came to the home gave us a fair quote and in just a few weeks our yard was beautiful. Thank you Paul, Rooster, Junior and Dalton. Well done!!!

Paul and his crew did a nice job installing our sprinkler system and putting in a hedge row at our home in Gulf Shores. The price was fair the work quality good. It would have been preferable to know that the city charges $1K to put in the 2nd water meter -before- the work started (quite the surprise) and communication regarding when the job would be completed could have been better. However, overall we are pleased with the results and will use them again for our back yard sprinkler system when we're ready to do that phase.

This company is a joke!! Ask yourself...why is it always a different crew working about every 2-3 months. Could it be because they carelessly fire the Americans, whose work they’re completely satisfied with to hire a crew of Mexicans...doubtful that they’re even legal to work in the USA!!! People like Paul and Lisa don’t deserve to have a business license in the United States of America!!!

Great company to work with from start to finish. Good design, showed up when they said they would. Good people that cared about the work they were doing. I’d highly recommend.

If there was a way to give zero stars I would. The crew was awesome, professional and courteous. No issues with them. The expectation of the owner is that you will accept whatever he bills you for and if you try and have a discussion he begins dropping F bombs and trying to intimidate you into accepting whatever his bill is. He is unprofessional, vulgar and disrespectful and claims he has been in business for 20 years. We had one experience with this company and that was enough.

I am so happy with the beautiful landscaping that Paul designed and installed! He and his crew were an absolute pleasure to work with! I would highly recommend them for any project, large or small!

I spoke with Paul last Friday and he asked me to text him my information, etc. He said he would be able to come and give me an estimate on the landscaping work I was looking to have done on Monday. I texted him on Sunday to confirm his appointment on Monday at 10am. He confirmed that he will plan on seeing me at 10am. Monday morning at 9am he texted and said he was going to Mobile and will call me when he returns IN A FEW HOURS. Seriously? I reminded him that he made an appointment with me on Friday and confirmed it on Sunday. No response. WHO DOES THAT? I advised him not to call or show up and that he just blew off making a couple thousand dollars. No response. Really people? Is this the kind of person/company owner that you want to do business with?

Paul and Justin and the entire crew are wonderful guys. The stay with a job and make sure the customers are pleased with their work.
We highly recommend them for big or little improvements you want to make.

We've used Southern Exposure Landscapes (SEL) several times, most recently to provide us a quote for a couple of small projects. To date, the actual work they've performed for us has included irrigation system inspection and repair; installation of hardscape in the backyard; relocating several sprinkler heads for better coverage, and installation of pine straw in our plant beds (twice). Each time either Paul (the owner) or Chris (crew chief) responded to our call or email, came out and met with me and/or my spouse, listened to what we had in mind, discussed it with us, and gave us what we felt was a reasonable price for the job. Paul's crews always showed up on the agreed upon date and at the agreed upon time, quickly and expertly completed the project, and made sure we were happy with the work. SEL is the third landscaping service we've used in the past five years and is head and shoulders above the others. I recommend Paul, Chris and the entire SEL staff without reservation!

We had a disaster yard on all sides from a pool installation and bad drainage. Paul and his crew terraced out the drainage issue and landscaped a beautiful yard, all sides! After trying to get many other landscaping companies to do some work without the run around, I called this company. Paul came right out and even though he was busy this time of year he promised to come out and take care of my lawn issues-and he did it! It is hard to find a dedicated company that cares about their customers but this is it! He was also very knowledgeable and offered services I said I needed in the future. Will definitely use this company in the future and highly recommend them. Thanks for bringing back good reliable service-as it should be 😃

Paul and his team did a great job making our new home look beautiful! He worked with us to design the best layout and made sure everything was done right. We couldn't be happier!

After we installed our pool, we need some ideas as to what to do with the remaining open fence in area around the pool. We had many landscaping companies come to give us ideas and costs. Southern Eposure Landscaping (Paul Kent) was the only one who presented a couples of vision as to what he thought we would like. He spent a great deal of time with us, explaining as to why he suggested his ideas regarding maintaining and cost of the bushes/trees/etc. We than choose one his suggestions and ask for quote.
A couple day later he brought the quote to the house. Reviewing it with him, we expressed to him that we thought was little high. After some conversation with Paul, we decided to let him do the project. To jump to the final end results WE WHERE VERY HAPPY IN THE FINAL RESULTS. His worker were very professional in placing everything according to layout. They done a great job in cleaning up all the work was preformed.
We now use his company for everything we need. Paul and his worker are always cooperative in what we need done.
