I would not recommend Bushwood Lawn Care.

Last fall I hired them to do my leaf cleanup and trim bushes. Then to start my spring/summer/fall lawn maintenance.

When they did leaf cleanup they did a fair job but told me they would be back when the leaves stopped falling to finish up. The bush trimming was also only fair. They left lots of twigs I. The bushes and completely missed the large crepe myrtle and rose bushes. They were prepaid for through job completion.

They never returned to pick up the leaves but I didn’t call or push the issue because I was traveling and thought it okay to just wait until spring.

When I called they came out to remove leaves and start my lawn maintenance. They removed about 40-50% of the leaves/pine needles. I then received a text stating they were unable to do my yard maintenance because one of their workers quit.

In stead of putting my leaves into garbage bags BUSHWOOD put them on two large sheets of black plastic, tied them and created two very large “garbage bags.” The trash people will not pick them up. I’m going to have to hire someone to put into individual garbage bags.

I try to make it a point to use small businesses where possible and Bushwood Lawn Care totally fits the bill! Responded quickly and came out same day to give me a quote for my new home. Very reasonably priced and even came out day 1 and helped me adjust and program my new sprinkler system (which I had no idea how to use).

Lawn looks great I have no issues and plan to use Bushwood for the foreseeable future.

Erik does a fantastic job mowing my lawn. He's on time, he works hard, he communicates promptly over text, and he keeps my yard in great shape throughout the year. Highly recommended!

I had a significant erosion problem in my back yard, after the neighbor installed a fence. The combined shade from the fence and trees along it caused a lot of grass to die, causing dirt to wash away during rain storms. Isaac came out and performed a free estimate, suggesting that I have a French drain installed. I agreed, and I chose to have decorative river rocks placed beneath and above the drain to create a dry creek bed. The project cost a bit more than I expected, but it required a lot of work and some expensive materials. It was a high-quality experience from start to finish and I'm pleased with the results. Both Isaac and Angel were a pleasure to work with. Angel maintained great communication throughout the project, and she even did a few extra things for me that she wasn't required to do. Every landscaper spoke English and was professional. I haven't had a chance to test the drain performance, since it hasn't rained yet, but I will reach back out to Isaac if needed. I highly recommend asking White Shovel Landscapes about their services if your yard is in need of improvement.

Just dropped gravel all over the highway and broke my windshield. 0 stars.

Driver refused to pull over and company did not answer phone when I attempted to notify them.

Their response is to place blame on others for their disregard for the safety for others:
“We cannot do anything for you after the fact.

The driver pulled over to exchange insurance information but said you just drove by screaming at them.

There are a lot of rocks on 565, we get our windshields cracked all the time.

I would recommend that you call your insurance company and ask them about road hazard insurance to be sure you don’t get hit by things coming up from the ground with construction vehicles when you’re following too closely.

A safe distance on the highway can save your life.”

I was warned to stay away from White Glove, I wish I had listened. What a total disappointment. I hired these guys to put in a large flower bed for me. They were to take out the turf, amend the soil, put in a french drain, acquire and plant some plants for me in a design we agreed to. WHAT A DISASTER! I waited a year to right this review to give it a chance to see how it would look after a year - this was a total waste of my money, thousands and thousands of dollars down the drain. I would NEVER use these folks again unless I could supervise from start to finish, and even then I wouldn't hire them if they paid me. They lure you in with a free estimate and a lovely design, but then the workers dont even have or understand the plan and are rude and obnoxious to boot. I have rocks about 3 inches down that was put in by the builder in all the lots, I wanted all that turned over and peat and soil conditioner added - I knew it would make it a hard job, and I was upfront about that. I was assured that was done - it was not, not even close. I know this because when I replaced all the plants they put in (100% died) this year, I hit rock and the netting that comes on the bottom of the turf - so it would have been impossible for them to have gone beyond removing just the top of the turf. They were also to put in a french drain, which should be about 12 inches below the top of the soil - I was digging around and hit their pipe less than 3 inches down, so now I have this section of pipe sticking up! When they were done, they left a mess, sticks left behind in a pile, litter, etc. Finally, all the plants died - not an exaggeration, they all died. I admit they have a warranty on the plants, but the whole experience was SO miserable, I have not called as I would refuse to allow them back in my yard. I just ate the cost and hired Yard Robotics - yard.bot. They did an INCREDIBLE job - friendly, fast, complete, came back out a couple of times after I asked for additional work and did it at no cost. I have used them for yard cleanup, mulching, planting, weeding, pruning - I am so happy. They used all my supplies to amend the soil, and everything is in full, beautiful bloom. What a difference!!!

White Shovel Landscape willingly helped me with a DIY project to ensure my raised bed has adequate drainage. Even though my project did not meet White Shovel’s minimum $$$ threshold for a project, they gave me unlimited direction and advice on how to complete the project myself, including providing invaluable instructions and recommending equipment that I need for the project. The time spent by White Shovel Landscape to ensure that I had everything I needed, even though they were not making any money as a result of the advice and direction they provided to me, is commendable. Thank you, White Shovel Landscape, for helping me. You provided me with everything I needed to complete my project. I will definitely contact you for larger projects that I might need in the future. What a very terrible experience...I cannot even begin to explain it...it was absolutely awful...they took over a year to fix all of the mistakes they made...and be wary, cause they will plant almost dead plants and then blame it on u that ALL OF THEM just so happened to die due to the lack of your care...they also might knock a whole in your house and claim that it was already there...they will also grow tiresome of having to fix all of their mistakes and bluntly tell u so...we had a design plan and a contract with them, but they did not follow either...if you do decide to hire them, I would stand beside them every single step of the way

The roots above ground,the grass barrier is laid down improperly, the grass coming through,the bushes some did will not replace the second one

Did a great job installing a drainage system and adding extra concrete to the driveway. Made a big difference in my front yard when it rains!
