Reviews of local pros in Madison, Alabama

Great service, promptness and great communications start to finish!
Scott Shaw gave special attention to a roof repair, quickly got the job done at a very reasonable price. Follow up after the job with an inspection a week or so afterwards to make sure there were no issues was very comforting. I can recommend Scott and Thompson Roofing, Harvest, AL easily!

Great team, great staff, great experience. A Project Manager overseeing the work was a great benefit, as it ensured we had the property ready for the job and the team prepared to start working immediately. Being a church, Thompson went out of their way to finish work between service times and cleaned the parking lot to ensure a safe environment for members and their vehicles. The job was completed quickly and was of excellent quality.

We recently had our gutters replaced by Thompson Roofing and Construction, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. Bryan and his team were professional, courteous, and efficient — they clearly take pride in their work. Communication was excellent throughout the process, and everything was completed on time and exactly as promised.

Our new gutters look fantastic and have already made a noticeable difference in how well our home handles rain. It’s refreshing to work with a company that values quality, honesty, and customer satisfaction. We highly recommend Thompson Roofing and Construction to anyone in the Huntsville area looking for dependable and top-notch service.

A job well done by Thompson Roofing & Construction ! Much thanks to Jason Pope for the guidance and help in getting the work done ! I even had to replace a dormer window along with replacing roof vents with a better roof venting method. Probably spent a little more money than other contractors but it was worth it !

I like to tell you the experience that I have with Bryan Garlock. He’s the most dedicated and thorough sales person we ever dealt with. He goes above and beyond for all his customers and make sure that they get exactly what they need. He’s awesome. Everybody needs a call Bryan at Thompson roofing.

Great experience working with Thompson Roofing. The estimating process and timeliness of the estimate AND the work was great. Everything was done online and the estimate matched the cost of work exactly. Really had a great experience on this one. I wasn't able to be up there but they sent pics and updates as the work was being done. I highly recommend this company.

We chose Thompson Roofing and Construction Company after receiving recommendations from a co-worker and some friends. Overall, our experience was great.

The process started with their Project Estimator, Doug Marlin, who was excellent. Doug gave us a clear assessment of the roof, provided all the necessary options, and laid out the costs upfront. He was professional and highly responsive to our questions, which made the initial planning very easy.

The crew was also fantastic. They worked quickly and efficiently, and they did a great job cleaning up.

We are pleased with the final result of the roof and definitely recommend Thompson Roofing and Construction Company.

Byran did an excellent repair on parts of our roof that was damaged. His cleanup was very thorough. We have recommended Thompson Roofing to others. A very pleasant experience and friendly, professional men.

It was a refreshing experience to work with Doug Marlin from Thompson Roofing and Construction.
Doug Marlin was prompt, knowledgeable and true to his word. Doug met my expectations and exceeded them. His crew ended up replacing the wind damaged shingles, seamlessly the same day.

They took a potentially stressful situation and made it easy and professional.
Thompson Roofing and Construction is a stand out example of how service should be done.
So, if you are looking for a company who delivers on their promises and cares about
the services they provide, I recommend Thompson Roofing and Construction.
Thank you,

Bryan Garlock w Thompson Roofing roof is perfection. Has a great working crew. Highly recommend. courtesy calls to all the neighbors notifying neighbors what we’re doing and apologizing for the noise.

When someone asks me for roof repair recommendations, I refer them to Scott Shaw at Thompson Roofing. I know he is fair, thorough, and of outstanding character. Nearly two years ago, I had my entire roof replaced by Thompson Roofing, and it looks just as wonderful as the day it was installed. Being that I own a smaller home, I opted for their best materials as cost wasn't much more than the basics. I'm happy to report all is well, and some of the covered components of their generous warranty may just outlive me. Top notch, and nothing less. Thank you guys for excellent work that lasts!

Heath Cunningham came out to inspect our roof at the Lakehouse in Guntersville AL. He showed up on time and was very helpful. He climbed up on the roof, took pictures, then explained what he saw with his expertise. Based on his feedback, we cut some tree limbs that were threatening to damage the roof prematurely. He also gave us the confidence to wait on replacing the entire roof for a couple more years. We will definitely use Thompson Roofing for that job. Great help!!

Bryan Garlock is reliable, hard working, and trustworthy. I've had the opportunity to work with him in the past and you can take what he says to the bank. I would highly recommend him for all of your roofing needs.

We have had both a roof and gutters put on our house by Thompson Roofing. Jackson was great to work with. He did a great job communicating with us about the cost and the timeline for the work. I would recommend Thompson every time.

If I could give ten stars I would and I attribute it all to Heath Cunningham. There are innumerable roofing companies but what sets Thompson apart is the knowledge, integrity and helpfulness Heath demonstrated. He never over committed but he always delivered. I will always recommend Heath and Thompson Roofing whenever someone ask for my recommendation.

Very grateful for the excellent work on our new roof! Doug Marlin was very helpful in taking tons of pictures for insurance and working with us on our quote, Adam Green was very accommodating with our scheduling needs, and the crew did a speedy and quality job! Highly recommend Thompson Roofing!

I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Thompson roofing. From day one, Bryan was absolutely fantastic — professional, reliable, and always willing to answer my questions. He kept me updated throughout the entire process and made everything stress-free. Nathan the project manager was awesome as well. The crew worked quickly, cleaned up thoroughly, and the quality of the roof is outstanding. I highly recommend them to anyone needing roofing work — ask for Bryan, he’ll take great care of you

Steven was very thorough in his inspection and assessment of our roofing project. Our foist experience was w/another company, that really didn’t listen to our requests or concerns. He was able to fix their mistakes and blend our new roof w/the old. It looks the way we imagined it should look from the beginning! We couldn’t be happier! If you’re even considering a new roof, let Steven and Thompson be your first call!

I first met Jackson when he came to inspect my father’s roof. He was very professional and helpful. He showed me pictures of all the issues with the roof and explained everything very well. He gave me 3 estimates and explained each in detail. Once I decided on which option we wanted, he got the process moving very quickly. The roof was scheduled soon and was completed in two days. Jackson kept in touch with me through the process and made sure we were satisfied with the work. An excellent job by a great company!

I am super happy with the roof that Thompson Roofing installed on my house. The estimator (Scott), the foreman (Adam), and team lead (Sam) were all excellent to work with. The work was done in one day. They did a great job cleaning up after themselves. Lastly, their price was fair and reasonable and they offered me a military discount which was much appreciated. I highly recommend this company.

Shingles started falling off my garage after a storm. I knew who I was going to call. Brian Garlock came out and quickly determined that the shingles were improperly installed by a different company and quickly fixed me up.
Honest people. Quality work.
