Reviews of local pros in Madison, Alabama

Big thanks for Jacob Rodgers and his team for coming out to paint my door and shutters! They look great and was completed professionally and timely for the amount of coats applied. I appreciate that they were able to quickly get me an appointment set and came out as early as they did, especially since I had work in the afternoon that day. I highly recommend them. Special thanks to Christian who painted the surfaces! Brown is the AFTER, blue is the BEFORE.

Jake and his team at Blue Jay painted our oak kitchen cabinets, kitchen walls and ceiling and the trim. Excellent work! They also repainted a bathroom ceiling for us and painted our kitchen table. Very professional and courteous team. I was impressed that we didn't have to pay anything until the work was completed and we were satisfied, and the prices were very fair. Highly recommend Blue Jay Painting!

Absolutely a pleasure from every perspective — design ideas, execution options, workmanship, and price. We hired Blue Jay to paint select walls, provide finishing touches to a renovated bathroom, repair ceilings, and refinish our front door. They made a complicated job easy and transformed everything they touched into something we admire.

I reached out to Jay with a very last minute project. I had new tenants moving into a rental property within a week and needed the entire home repainted. He didn’t hesitate. He didn’t blink an eye. He simply said “yeah, we can get that done.” That’s exactly what they did, but they did it with QUALITY! I could not recommend their services enough.

Jake and his assistant was very punctual everyday, and did an amazing job. They transformed our kitchen, making it look so much bigger and brighter. They also painted our laundry room, bathroom and ceilings. They didn’t hesitate to go back over anything I pointed out. Thanks Jake we absolutely love our kitchen!!! The first picture is before and the other two are after. I highly recommend Blue Jay Painting!

We had some ceiling repair work that needed to be done within a timely manner. Jake fit us into his very hectic schedule & did a great job! They were on time & got the job done in a timely manner. Unfortunately, the ceiling continued to have some issues so Jake came out immediately & fixed the problem FREE! I strongly recommend Blue Jay Painting! Will definitely call on them in the future! Thanks Jake!

I can’t say enough good things about Blue Jay Painting and the incredible job they did on our home. From start to finish, their professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail truly stood out. The owner was friendly, helpful, and extremely easy to work with, and the crew he hires reflects that same level of professionalism and care.

They removed the popcorn ceilings throughout our 3,000 square-foot home, completely transforming the space and giving it a clean, modern, updated look. They also repaired several faulty ceiling joints, and you honestly can’t even tell there was ever an issue — the finish is that smooth and seamless.

The entire process was smooth, respectful, and well-managed. The team showed up on time, kept the work area clean, and took pride in what they were doing. If you’re looking for a painting company that combines skill, integrity, and great customer service, I highly recommend Blue Jay Painting. We couldn’t be happier with the final results.

Jake and his crew did an excellent job painting the exterior of my house. His team did a thorough job prepping and fixed any issues before starting to paint. They were prompt and very professional. Jake is very easy to work with and I would not hesitate to hire him again!
I am replacing the post on the front porch which is why it is not painted.

Jake and Carlos with Blue Jay did an outstanding job on our siding repair (replacing damaged masonite with hardie plank), exterior repaint and new shutters!! We had several different estimates for this project and were very impressed with them from the start. This is our first home project and Jake provided lots of advice and guidance during the estimate process. Jake replies promptly to all messages and their guys get it done as fast as they can (even during crazy January weather). They won’t leave your job undone and did not require payment before making sure you are 100% happy. Jake built new shutters for our house as well and I couldn’t be happier! Thank you Jake & Blue Jay team! 👏🏻

I give Jake and Blue Jay Painting my highest recommendation. He and his team were very responsive anytime I reached out with questions. I also had some parameters we needed to work around with scheduling and they were accommodating. I was impressed by his professionalism, from our initial meeting when he took notes as we walked around my house to our final walk through when he literally took a flashlight to my walls to be sure the work was done to his standards! We will definitely use his company again.

Fantastic work and customer service. We used Blue Jay Painting to paint our kitchen island and bathroom cabinets, and to paint our laundry room. They were fast, extremely efficient and the work done is top notch.

We have used Blue Jay Painting twice this year and have been happy with the work both times. Jake was very responsive and easy to work with and his crews were thorough and did a great job keeping the dust contained and cleaned up well afterward. We will definetly use Blue Jay Painting again.

The Blue Jay Painting team did a great job painting the interior of our home. They repainted walls, ceilings, doors, crown and baseboard molding, and bookshelves. Communication with Jake was great and made the planning easy. We highly recommend Blue Jay Painting.

We got Blue Jay to stain our shadow-boxed fence. They were absolute professionals at every step, did great work, and I didn't need to micro-manage or worry they were going to take shortcuts. Highly recommended!

Jake from Blue Jay Painting did a wonderful job refinishing my Grandparents’ front entrance and they couldn’t be happier with the work he did. He was organized, professional, and went above and beyond. Their doorway got denied by other companies due to the height of the entrance way, but this company had no problem tackling the job!!

Absolutely beautiful work by Blue Jay Painting. Jake was very responsive and helpful in the entire process. Highly recommend!

It can be challenging finding local pros upon moving to a new area! I’m glad I found blue jay painting to take care of the interior painting projects in my home! The owner is very friendly and communicative. Quality work, reasonable pricing, done in timely manner. Highly recommend.

Jake Rodgers sent his crew over and they did a great job. I love how they matched the paint exactly to the same color that I had before the construction started. I will definitely use them again. They also reconnected our vanity sink in the guest bathroom and replaced the base board. My husband and I are very satisfied with their work. Pricing was very affordable, and reasonable. Thanks Blue Jay Painting

I highly recommend Blue Jay painting. Jake is very helpful, professional, and knowledgeable about what needed to be done. The painters carefully completed the prep work and the painting job went smoothly. They did a thorough cleaning afterwards and I was very happy with the results. 5 thumbs up to Blue Jay Painting. I plan on using them again for another job.

I used Blue Jay Painting to do some interior/exterior painting, which involved some carpentry and removal and reinstallation of gutters. I couldn’t have been more happy.
Jake was very professional and helpful. His prices are extremely competitive. Very honest.
His crew, Tommy and Mark, were awesome. They were professional, personable, and polite. They were there when they were supposed to be and did a great job cleaning up after the job was finished. The work is beautiful and obviously professionally done. We will definitely use them again.
Highly recommended.
