NEVER, EVER, EVER LET THIS MAN NEAR YOUR HOUSE.
He quoted a decent price for a tree removal near my house. I SPECIFICALLY ASKED if I needed to set up a service disconnect with AP because it was near 2 power lines and he assured me, "no, we don't need to do that!". Day 1 he showed up several hours late, didn't respond to texts or calls, and made excuses when I asked him about it. Day 2 things got worse. Still showed up late, a few hours in DROPPED A LIMB ON OUR POWER, KNOCKED OUR BOX OFF THE WALL, TRIED TO BLAME HIS 2 EMPLOYEES FOR IT, ADMITTED TO TAKING "SHORTCUTS", COMPLAINED UNDER HIS BREATH ABOUT HOW MUCH HE WAS BEING PAID (you quoted me the price, buddy!), THEN TOLD ME HE WAS GOING TO BRIBE THE ALABAMA POWER EMPLOYEE TO GET HIM TO HOOK MY POWER BACK UP INSTEAD OF AN ELECTRICIAN DOING IT UP TO CODE. (He did later offer the guy $100 over the phone which the upstanding AP employee obviously refused).
It also appears to be that he may have been sightly under the influence of something while he was here, but I'm not a pro at recognizing that so I can't say for sure.
1 very cold night later, and $460 poorer, we had electric hooked back up (by the amazing Dozier electrical services).
Then he had the balls to be rude to me when I informed him he would NOT be coming back into my property to complete the job. He claimed he would pay back the $460 and even contacted me once asking for payment info before ghosting me again. A letter from our lawyer has gone ignored for the past month as well.
Take my advice: NEVER, EVER let this man do any work for you!
