Everything went smooth until the delivery of my stuff. I got my POD a day later. I waited all day on my delivery day only to find out that I had been rescheduled. No email, not phone call, or nothing and was basically was told I hade to deal with that.

The best part of the experience was the ability to pack my stuff and store it in a PODS container and not have to rush to load it in a two day window. It was so much easier and less stressful.

Brandon did a great job dropping off two pods in a tight spot at our house. Thanks for the professional service!

The whole process was quite simple. The pricing seemed a little steep at first. But having the time to load yourself, and having professional movers take care of the transportation became a no Brainer. This company seemed to go out of their way to ensure the moving experience was painless. I would recommend them to all my friends and relatives. Well worth the price.

My experience with PODS was awesome. The customer service representatives are unmatched. The drivers are prompt and professional. PODS Moving and Storage is great for local and long distances. I received all my items in the POD without damage upon delivery. Great investment!!!!

The driver failed to inspect this pod before delivery on (04/18/2024) POD#42764BX
I specifically asked before ordering if these POD containers had moisture issues! Only to be told no.
There is mold on every 4x4 post, you can’t miss it!
At the time of ordering, I arranged 2 weekends to get EVERYTHING moved out. Now we have only one weekend to be out.
I still haven’t received a replacement pod! I’m still out the initial charges! Even if I wanted to use another moving/storage option, this MOLDY UNUSABLE/UNSAFE POD is STILL blocking my gate and my driveway!
Moving forward, I will have to pay another month’s rent AND utilities! Who should pay for this???
I requested on my most recent phone call to PODS, the least they can do is hire movers to help us get moved out on time with NO response yet.
In customer service, a LITTLE urgency goes a LONG way in keeping your reputation positive.
Not only did PODS cost us time and money….PODS PUT OUR HEALTH AND OUR PERSONAL PROPERTY AT RISK. This is TOXIC MOLD!
Update: pods delivered a replacement container on (04/23/2024) 4 DAYS AFTER BEING NOTIFIED OF TOXIC MOLD then “tried charging me for it several times OVER and OVER AGAIN” but refuses to acknowledge additional damages incurred i.e.- additional rent+utilities caused by lack of prompt service/inspection, wasted time dealing with a shady business, toxic mold exposure.
No one from pods will contact me regarding these additional damages.
I’ve demanded a full refund and removal of the replacement container, as I’ve yet to use this service.
UPDATE: April 26th, Pods continues trying to charge me, no one from senior management has contacted me to reimburse for additional damages!
Sick poorly ran company! Save yourself the trouble. Please don’t use them!

I sold my home in Alabama and needed to move and store my goods until I could find a home in Tennessee. My PODS sit in their facility for 6 months until I purchased my new home. The PODS were delivered at the perfect time for my hired muscle to unload. We had no damage to anything. All the drivers were extremely courteous and professional. We would definitely recommend to all and will use again if I need to move in the future.

Each of the drivers involved in the delivery, transfer and final pick up were kind, considerate and professional.

Absolutely loved my experience with PODS. It was super smooth. Loved that with each drop off and pick up it was the same person/crew, just made everything much easier. Everything was super clean. My stuff was well maintained within the POD even after being transported from Alabama to Nevada. Would definitely use again if I need to and recommend to anyone who is considering using them!

Nothing but issues!

The first POD had a leak and we experienced mold. POD was switched, informed them the POD is rocking and not on level ground, they told me that we would have to pay for the driver to correct his error. How is this not apart of the delivery process for safety???

Horrible experience. We scheduled a pickup from Dallas and had the POD kept on our land in Alabama while we looked for a house to avoid storage costs. Turns out this ended up costing us a lot more money. They consider picking up the POD and moving it 1.5 hours away to be a "long distance move." It would have been cheaper to keep it in storage in Montgomery and transfer it to storage in Birmingham and then have it delivered to the house, but how in the world would I have known that? No one explained this when I set up the initial order. I will not use PODS again, we would just go ahead and hire movers to get it all done in one fell swoop.

We used PODS for our cross-country military move. Their customer service is better than any moving company we have used. Our delivery driver in Montgomery, Sonny, was incredible. We had a very heavy loaded PODS and our driveway was uphill and around a corner. He spent a tremendous amount of time figuring out how to maneuver the PODS onto our driveway in the perfect location without harming any of our landscaping or mailbox. He was so professional and really diligent about doing the job correctly.
Every time I called customer service head-quarters they were helpful and friendly. So much better than our experience with Uhaul. Highly recommend PODS for your moving needs.

BEWARE PODS IS A TOTAL SCAM!!! PODS will talk a good deal to sucker you in and then start overbilling you and its pure hell to get it fixed. They will act light they can't comprehend how to help you and refuse to transfer you to a supervisor or manager over and over and will even drop your calls. The deliver drivers are great but they operate separately from the customer service aspect of the company.

Easiest move I've had without hiring a moving company and all of the drivers were extremely friendly.

Great way to store things when renovating a home without the commitment of purchasing a shed. Super friendly staff from the very first call to the gentleman who picked up the POD.

These people are a joke! They promise to do one thing, and don't follow through. I have had a pod in my driveway for 3 weeks...and they REFUSE to pick it up!! The "manager" continues to blame the weather. I have called customer service (repeatedly), and they fall for his lies. Now, he won't take my phone call. PODS is horrible!

I will use pods in the future. The driver, Raymond, was professional and clearly knew how to operate the truck and equipment. Great experience.

Had a great experience using PODS for our cross country move. The process was smooth and easy. POD arrived at a reasonable time after we arrived at our destination.
