Johnson Heating and Cooling replaced the windows and sliding glass door at our house. Not only are the prices reasonable with a very friendly staff, they are serious about customer satisfaction!

The sales team was very informative and took the time to make sure we understood their products making the experience of learning the cost differences related to product options easy.

The installation crew was right on time and obviously professionals at their craft. We were (and still are) impressed with their attention to detail and motivation to do the job right while making sure we were satisfied with the results.

They ordered part to repair heat. Finally today I was told by Lisa that my unit is too old to get part (i had to call them). Funny I found it online & in Huntsville.. They appear to only be interested in sales.
Update: called one of their competitors. Came out today & fixed unit in less than 20 minutes. It wasn't what Johnson tried to rip me off with. I am so upset! Left me without heat for 2 weeks when you could have just fixed it to start with.

They said they ordered a part and I've been sitting here freezing for over a week waiting for it to come in. They call today and say that they can't find the part so I just need to buy a new unit. How can you not "find" the part if you already ordered it a week ago??? They just want money. Ridiculous!

Update 1 year later: Blevins A/C and Electric came out to fix it after Johnson Heating and Cooling tried to pull that greedy stunt. Blevins fixed the problem for only around $70. It's been a year since this happened and my unit still doesn't need to be replaced. Don't call Johnson.

Jesse was very professional and knowledgeable. He apologized for my bad service from another company. I have been without a/c since Sunday and within 10 min he knew what the problem was and fixed it. I know the unit is old but he was more concerned with fixing the issue then he was selling me a new one. When he was finished I spoke about the wall units and he took the time to explain them to me and how they are cost efficient. Told me when I was ready to upgrade let him know. I work for a service company and customer service is an important part of service. I will recommend Johnson heating and air as well as Jesse in the future. Thank you

We just used Johnson heating and cooling to install all new windows our house and they did a phenomenal job. Devin was our salesman and helped with the install, he was was very professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. We expedited 6 weeks for the windows to come in and it only took about 3. On the day of the install devin, brad, and Jeff showed up when they said they would and they completed my install in a very timely manner. Brad and Jeff were just as professional, friendly, and knowledgeable as devin. Not only did they do a phenomenal job on the install they cleaned behind themselves and didn’t leave a mess. I highly recommend johnson heating and cooling for your windows.

This is dual review. I worked with Chris and Cody and can’t say enough good things about either of them. They were both very professional and courteous. Chris installed my windows and did a great job. Cody did a maintenance check on my HVAC system. Both Chris and Cody took the time to answer all my questions and show me how everything worked. I appreciate all of the extra attention they both paid in taking care of my service items. Glad I found a company I can feel confident in.

I had my windows replaced with Johnson Heating and Cooling. They did an excellent job and it completely updated the look of our house. The windows are easy to use and energy efficient. Chris was wonderful and kept us updated throughout the process. The installation crew were great with our cats and dog! The office staff were always friendly and helpful. We are grateful for all they did for our family and home. I would definitely recommend Johnson Heating and Cooling, you will not be disappointed!

We had a fantastic experience with Johnson Heating and Cooling. Our unit of 21 years decided to die 24 hours before a winter blast and 4 inches of snow and ice hit. I called Johnson’s and Jeff was at our house within two hours. They saw we had no heat at all and put us on the priority list. 22 hours later the installation team was at our house installing a new unit in frigid temps. I can’t thank them enough for providing a wonderful service to our family. I will continue to recommend and use them considering they’ve been a reputable business in our community for the past 50 years. On a side note, Jeff has been available to answer any questions and provide customer support to make the experience everything we needed it to be. My hat is off to Johnson Hearing and Cooling.

We had one kitchen window replaced and 3 big picture windows replaced and the guys were amazing, they showed up on time every day and stayed until the job was done. Would definitely reccomend these guys to anyone around the area!

Johnson Heating and Cooling installed the second Air-conditioner for my home in Scottsboro on April 30th 2025. The first one they installed lasted 15 years. The only problem was the original installers poured a 3 ft x 3ft x 2ft concrete block to sit the outside unit on and it and the outside unit were leaning towards the house. I had to make a brace to keep it from falling into the house. My father was here when they installed the first one and was happy with their service so I decided to use them again.
Tony, the manager/salesman had his guys remove the massive concrete block after the new HVAC unit was installed. That was awesome as I recently had a knee replacement and it would have taken me a month to remove.
Everything looks and works great now.
