Completely incompetent. I scheduled them to come out and repair my HVAC unit. When I never heard from the technician, I called the hotline. They said that the technician saw our window units and left. Moronic

I told you over the phone that there was a full AC unit on the house. It's not working, which is why we have window units.

One Call is excellent. They came when they said they would and were honest and straightforward. They have done many jobs for us and I and 100% pleased. I definitely recommend them.

This company did a fantastic job! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. We had to replace my A/C unit and repair some ductwork. The company did a great job making me (the customer) feel comfortable about making such an unexpected, major purchase. They will work with you as best they can. The ductwork seemed impossible to fix. There had been some shotty work done when my house built. However, Charlie and the guys gave me a great deal.

Also, I lost one of my batteries to my DeWalt drill while they were here. They may have accidentally taken it or I may have lost it! Either way I called and asked if they had seen an extra battery laying around. Instead of saying ‘’no” and moving on, they bought me a brand new DeWalt drill and mailed it to my house.

That’s what makes this company great!!!

Is this company even still open?
Our unit, purchased in 2022 with a 10yr warranty and no one answers the phone, then the line is no longer in service, but the website is still up with no direction of whether or not the company closed.
I need answers.

We called Charlie to install a new HVAC based on the reccomendation of a hard-to-please family member. His team was quick and responsive, but the first installation wasn't what we were expecting.

I was able to call Charlie and discuss my concerns, and he came back to discuss a fix, brought his team and made it right in record time. I would recommend Charlie and his team to anyone, I don't think you can find a more trustworthy, skilled team in Alabama.

Called and made an appointment & I was told that someone would be at my home either between 8 & 9 or 2 & 3 the nextday. My husband works 3rd shift & was going to be the one to meet them. Around 9:30 I called to check on which time they were coming & I was told the afternoon appointment. Husband went to bed & woke up early to meet them & no one showed. Called back & was told the appointment time was between 2 & 4. Around 4:30 husband called & was told between 5 & 5:30. At 6pm no one was at our home & no one had called to update. Husband called the office & told them to forget about it. We will be using a different company.

I love this place as they have always gone above and beyond when working on my HVAC. Had the whole unit replaced by them 2 years ago and their service is great. The only reason I gave 4 stars is reaching them seems to be a bit difficult.

The receipt I have has an old number on it and the new number has a full voicemail box so I couldn't leave a message.

With that being said, I called this morning and they arrived at 10:30 and we're done before 11:30 (clogged drain pipe).

I would never use this company. On the surface they look great but if you have any warranty work for a product they sold you they treat it differently and cut corners and even mislead you about what they are doing. They get belligerent if you question them. The best thing they have going for them is the lady who answers the phone and dispatches. If they all had her integrity it would be a good company. Do Not Use This Company. After 2 failed attempts to fix a 2 year old unit, I had to go to another company to cure the issue with my ac (previously being left a week at a time with no ac). I asked for reimbursement due to the issue being a faulty weld they made and they behaved like children. Still trying to get a reimbursement.

Response To the owners response- yes there is a lot more to the story which will come out. I used a reputable company to come out to correct the issue they caused by faulty work and could not correct in two visits. Out of two separate weeks, after asking and after they left the job site after being caught trying to not do a job properly and lying, i asked to be put into a hotel for which i paid and got reimbursement a week later.

I gave them an opportunity to reimburse me before posting a review. The childish unprofessional response to this bad review, and all others prior to mine, should show all you need to know about this company.

Save yourself the drama and do not use them. The anxiety and suffering I have been caused dealing with them has been ridiculous. I have never written a poor review on google about anyone before. This experience warranted warning to others.

One call came to my house the same day I called. I had to have a new unit and they were there the next day to install. I was very pleased with them. Friendly, courteous and very professional. I would recommend them to everyone.

This is by far the best company to do any heating or air work you need. I had a new outside air unit installed last April (2019) and had to call them again this week for heating issues. The two men that showed up were knowledgeable, professional, and patient with my mother and I. They made sure I understood everything they were explaining. I need a new furnace and the price quoted is so much lower than I expected. When the funds are available I know exactly who I'll be calling. Great job guys!!!!

My unit went out on while I was traveling. I came home to a huge water leak and a warm house. Monday morning I called One Call and by Monday afternoon I had a new unit installed. They were great! Mr. Gallegos went over all my options. I felt very well informed. His son and co-worker were very professional and even tried to clean up my water mess downstairs. Great company, great work! I even got a hand written "thank you" card in the mail.

Had a new heating and air unit installed mid-october and it went out toward the middle of January due to installation error from the previous installer didn't install the right wiring and the wires .... Won't mention any names. One Call did all the legwork to resolve the issues quickly and basically reinstalled the whole system the way it's supposed to be. Work was professional and they were very knowledgeable and took care of me in a timely manner. Would recommend to anyone.

Starting with the awesome woman behind the phone (Ms. K) to the two gentlemen (Mr. C and Mr. J), clearly aliases for all parties, who showed to my house, this was the BEST service I have received from any organization in years.

Ms. K was friendly, apologetic for an unforgettable (unavoidable) issue during our heatwave, and was communicative from beginning to end and beyond about my service call. I think her sense of humor helped also.

Mr. C and Mr. J worked their butts off over the course of 2 days to troubleshoot my system, find the correct parts, and even went so far as to use their charm to get one of the parts warehouses to manually check inventory while the weather beat upon their brow. Did I mention a heat wave already?

Though I have a personal friend I will always call for a new system, until that time, One Call Heating and Cooling, LLC, has earned a loyal customer.

The entire team was responsive, courteous, understanding and knowledgeable. They were there when we needed a new system and got everything together on a Saturday for us to get the system installed Monday morning. As long as One Call is in business, they will have a customer here and I will tell all my friends and family about their exceptional service.

I hired this company three years ago to replace my central unit and when the blower motor went out three years later they refused to honor their contract with me due to some petty issues they were having with the York rep. They totally dishonest and mislead me. I would not recommend this company.

They did extensive work for us replacing H & A unit and work on the old system in our basement. For years we had fought flooding from the A/C drainage, they installed a pump solving that problem. Going with a larger unit left us needing a larger return. To avoid cutting into our wall inside the house they installed an additional smaller return at the site of the unit in our basement. The pump and the additional return were just a few of the ideas they had from experience that we really appreciate. They are very professional and courteous. They did exactly what they told us they would do and cleaned up all work they did. I highly recommend.
