This team was hired for a significant black water remediation. This team accepted the job, coordinations were made promptly, access to property was secured, but they opted to delay an emergent 1-2 day job so the entire team could enjoy the holidays. This type of decision potentially caused significant problems for the tenant and owner- the work order was promptly terminated. Not impressed, and recommend looking elsewhere.

They picked my couch and chair up to be cleaned and both young men were very courteous and friendly. When they brought them back they looked and felt great. These pieces of furniture are white and 20+ years old. They did a fantastic job. Reasonable pricing.

Called them just now to get a quote and the person on the other line didn't even gave me a chance to explain before hanging up.. Worst customer service line I've ever experienced.

Taylored Restoration helped me through a stressful basement leak with calm confidence and professionalism. Their team quickly assessed the situation, clearly communicated the next steps, and connected me with a reliable plumber to address the root issue. They also expertly handled the moisture mitigation caused by the leak, preventing further damage. I’m very grateful for their responsiveness and expertise—highly recommend!

An extension cord plugged into an outlet on the exterior of our house caught the cedar siding on fire. Luckily a neighbor saw the flames, got our attention and we managed to put the fire out just as the fire department arrived. In addition to the exterior fire damage a good deal of smoke inundated the large double car garage. Although the single car wasn't damaged, the extensive material stored in the other stall was soaked in smoke. Fortunately, a 24 hour treatment with Taylored Restorations ozone machine, and a week with their hydroxyl machine expunged the smoke odor.
After curing the smoke problem Taylored carpenter/handyman and electrician restored siding, insulation, electrical and sheet-rock. The siding especially being no small task to tint the new replacement cedar siding to match thirty plus year old siding on the rest of the home.
Thanks to Taylored for the excellent work.
P.S. we now have a smoke alarm in the garage and are especially appreciative of our neighbors.

Honestly, I am in shock with how weird of an interaction I just had.

I called them on a Sunday at 5:00 pm, fully expecting to just be put on the schedule as my problem was not an urgent matter. I spoke to the rep who said that they had no techs available tonight and I would have to call another company. I asked if they could just put me on the schedule? He said that he had no way of scheduling me and had no way of having anyone call me back.

    Very bizzare.

I had a unique task that normally you don’t think of this company for. A friend passed away in her condominium, but her body was not discovered for five days. This led to quite a significant biohazard situation that needed to be cleaned up after the body was removed. Despite the fact that they had multiple large projects going on, they took the time to meet my schedule and get this job taken care of as quickly as possible. We needed to get into the condominium so that we could look for a will and other critical documents. Amy C was amazing, going out of her was to communicate every step and get the job done as quickly as possible. I am very grateful for her kindness, compassion, and diligence.

I had seen Taylored restoration at many sites when working as a firefighter, and I had a chance to utilize their services this fall.

My mother’s house had a water leak in a boiler area that had gone unnoticed for some time. We utilized Taylored for the repair and couldn’t be more happy with the service, price, and quality of work. At issue was shutting down the system long enough to remove most existing plumbing, excavate all the mildew, Sheetrock, and replace it in a timely manner. Temperatures in the 20’s at night isn’t an optimal time to turn off the heat.

Gordon at Taylored was on time, communicated well, coordinated the repair with the HVAC company (Diamond Heating 10/10!) to effect repairs with as little disturbance and delay as possible for my elderly mom.
The work was under time (early), on budget, and of excellent quality. They worked with me, and were considerate, clean and responsible.
My father was a general contractor, and I have a long history building and repairing residential construction. Price was fair. Would highly recommend!

Had them build a front deck for me several years ago and slope the yard to the deck. They said they could build it just like my back deck, they didn’t and it cost me more to have them tear it out and fix it. The yard was to be the same grass but it is not and still a noticeable difference in color and texture from the rest of the yard. Buyer beware of this company. Finally got the lien off my house they put on it until I paid.

They did an office remodel for us last year. The permitting drug out forever (not their fault), but once they had it in hand they knocked it out quick. Super easy to work with and delivered.

Friendly and went out of their way when I was in a tough spot. Also, Quick to get a quote back which is extremely rare in this town. I would definitely recommend this company and will use them again! Thank you so much for helping us with such kindness and professionalism.

I have used this company twice now for window replacement and general home repairs. Both times they have been extremely professional and polite. The work has been completed on time and correctly. I would highly recommend them for general contract work.

This is our second home construction project that we have had 84th Construction Comp. They are the very Best. Precise, thorough, and timely. I would have them do any project for my home both large and or small. They do excellent work and I enthusiastically recommend them for your Job!

Dustin remodeled our master bathroom in the winter of 2021. He did an excellent job, was responsive to our needs, attentive in all ways, and was very skilled as a contractor. He also has a great personality and works well with the public. Barb in Doug Griffin.

These guys were a nightmare. We had a house fire last year. We contacted this company to do the rebuild work. The first week they were great. Then they just went downhill. Didn't read the plans, didn't plan/schedule things ahead of time. Workers would only show up a couple days a week, a few hours at a time. My favorite guys were the two 70 year olds who were on perpetual break. We had to beg them all summer to get things done. Usually they would show up if they wanted some money. As soon as they got a check, they disappeared for weeks. We were compensated almost 9 months to live in a house from insurance. But because of 84th's inability to do a simple garage and entry way addition in a timely manner, Me, my wife and 2 small children had to stay in a 20' camper in our front yard for 3 months while they took their sweet time doing anything. I had to step in and perform drywall work and excavation work as well as repair framing to the house to speed the project up. I received no compensation for this labor.
Despite paying nearly 6 grand in project management fees, they did not bill my insurance correctly, then tried passing the costs on to me to the tune of 20 thousand dollars. You don't receive any kind of itemized billing (because we agreed to a set price) so it wasn't until the end of the project I realized how much over the budget they were. When asked about it I was given the response of " Oh I figured I would just charge you time and material because it was easier" So I asked for a time and material statement and never got one despite repeated requests. Even my attorney couldn't get one. Most of the charges were bogus as well. Which is probably why they did not submit to insurance. I ended up lawyering up but it was becoming to costly to fight. I'm sure they knew this going in. The guys wife is an attorney so they get the buddy rate for legal fees I'm sure. As of this writing they have not completed the warranty work around my house.
I cant say strongly enough to avoid this shady outfit.

I had torn out a bunch of soaked drywall from a punctured pipe but had no clue how to put the wall back together. While Ryan came out to give an estimate, I sought an estimate on installing flooring in our laundry room so that it gets done the right way the first time. Even during a busy season, 84th Street exceeded my expectations to get in to put the wall back up and then to install the flooring. Nice guys, professional, and conscientious of others during the work/school day (with kids doing school on computers and with face masking). I feel confident that my wife and I will recommend 84th Street help to others and seek their help on a next round of home improvements to our own home.

We found that our shower door had leaked and damaged the bathroom subfloor. Most contractors we called were too busy to come over, except for Ryan. He agreed to make an estimate, came in a timely manner, and very kindly explained everything to us. 84th Street Construction also agreed to do the job sooner when they learned that we had already taken the toilet off and couldn't use the bathroom.

The workman who did the job also came on time, offered to answer all our questions, and did his work cleanly and professionally. He even installed the new toilet for us despite it not being in the estimate. The job was done professionally and very quickly. We also found the price to be very fair.

We are very happy with the new subfloor and will gladly work with Ryan and 84th Street Construction in the future. Thanks guys!

A few years ago we had them put drainage in our back yard among other things. This year for the first time we've had enough snow to see the quality of their work during breakup and the system works perfectly. We have no puddles, the crawlspace is dry and no wet patches near the house. Well done guys, we are very pleased.

While they didn't get the job (full tear down and bathroom remodel) I wanted to say they were very fairly priced and the estimator did an AMAZING job listening and writing down everything that I wanted done. Definitely the best Estimate I received from any company I tried. Ended up getting a deal from a friend of the family/solo contractor or I would have chose them. (and it most likely wouldn't have taken 1-1/2 months to get it done HA!)

I have known Ryan, Dylan, and Evan for many years. They do incredible work. They helped me with a bunch of work when I purchased my condo. They recently painted a new commercial space I just move in to. They do great work and are extremely professional. I highly recommend them for any kind of residential or commercial construction work. They are also fun to have a beer with!
