Boreal Tree Care did an amazing job removing a bunch of invasive trees from Terrace 21 in midtown Anchorage. Bill and his crew were highly professional, listened to all of our needs and cleaned up perfectly. Now, we have great views of the Chugach front range. We interviewed several other companies, but went with Boreal due to their professionalism, timeliness, price and availability. Great guys, great crew!

Boreal Tree Care did an amazing job!

They were able to remove logs from a tree that had fallen in the past season and clear up our yard at a reasonable price. They even made sure to rake the area and pick up any branches or twigs on the way out.

The team was incredibly friendly, professional, and efficient. I would definitely recommend them to others and use them again if needed.

I called three times. The first time I called, I left a message. No one called back. Days passed. Do I called back and the receptionist said my message must’ve gotten overlooked somehow. GreatlandTree did drive by my house. I don’t even know if they got out of their vehicle. But my renter told me that they said the tree had beatles it some kind of a big. I never heard back from GreatlandTree at all in this. They never got back with me on this issue. I’m just thinking how I profess. All I know is that My renter said that I need to cut down a tree and that’s it. I called and left another message but it was on a Friday. I have no clue as to why all of this is going on.

We're Greatland Tree Service customers for the long haul because of David, the owner. Knowledgeable, easy to talk to, we immediately felt like we were in the right hands when he came over to help us with our back yard.

Had the guys out to cut down five trees. They had to a limb up one and cut it down in sections, they did an amazing job and placed the trees exactly where they said they would, very impressive! Very professional and showed up right on time, price was exactly what I was quoted. Highly recommend

Came out twice to quote work, doesn’t send an updated quote even though at the second evaluation Dave said he could get us in in a week. Get a call back today saying can’t do it until spring 3 days after saying they’re booking about a week out.
I had to call twice and email to finally get a response on an updated quote for adding 1 tree cut down and that stump.
They came in at 1/3 of the cost of competitors and that probably is why they magically can’t fit us in after telling us each time they came out it would be a week out, when it’s early October and the ground is nowhere near too frozen.

So I had a very dead birch tree in the back yard of our new home. I had called Greatland for a quote on removal and was told they would send out thier estimator. Paul ( the manager ) ended up calling me that evening and asked if he could drop by for a look at the job. He stopped by and I showed him the problem. So he walks up to the tree and shakes the trunk a bit, then shoved it straight over and shook my hand as he said have a nice evening. Ha! We both got a good laugh of it and he didn't even charge me a dime. I'll be calling these folks for services in the spring. With service like that they have earned my business.

Best and affordable tree service in Anchorage. I called multiple tree services and Quote of greatland was more reasonable. Gage tree service was most expensive. No one can beat greatland tree price quote. They removed close to 12 or more trees from my house.

Greatland handled a very large job for us, cutting down ~ 30 trees and coming back to grind stumps. All of the people we dealt with from quote to completion were professional, knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommended!
