I had a tree break in a windstorm and get hung up in the spruce nearby, creating a hazardous situation for my household (and also for the fence below it!). Mike came out right away to look at it, he had a quote to me in a matter of minutes, and his crew came out the same day. The tree was taken down safely and efficiently and the guys were extremely friendly and professional. Definitely a great experience with what could have been a much worse situation! I highly recommend Tall Trees.

These guys are great! Very professional, friendly, and very good at what they do. The best part? They totally cleaned up the mess afterward, something contractors often can't be bothered to do. Thumbs up for Tall Trees! Will definitely use again if needed and recommend to others.

From initial visit, scheduling, and day of service, Tall Trees are professional and experienced. It was a delight to work with them and amazing to watch them work. The workers were careful and left my yard in great shape! I didn't have to do any cleaning after. Highly recommend!

We have a beautiful new yard!! Our previously dark, cold, and mosquito-y yard is now bright and open! Despite covid and it being the summer landscaping season, the scheduling team was very communicative and were timely for appointments.
On the day of work, they removed 12 mostly-dead trees safely, cleanly and left us with lots of firewood. The workers were very professional and concerned for our neighbors, parking, etc. After work was done, they walked us around the yard and made sure we were happy with the work. Prices were much less than we were expecting, especially compared to what I have paid for similar services in the lower 48. Just a great experience and we highly recommend.

5 stars all around—wonderful crew, professional and courteous. Thank you for cleaning up, and our acre of yard looks fantastic, like it just came out of a barber shop!

I'm told Tall Trees might not be the cheapest around town but I definitely got great value for what I paid. Mike gave us the quote and, once the proposal was accepted, they gave us a schedule, reminded us near the time, turned up promptly and just got on with it.

Benjamin and his team came out to do the work of clearing a very overgrown garden, drop three trees, and cut back a lot of pernicious growth like raspberry bushes. For the work they're capable of, this was extremely basic stuff no doubt, but they still did a great job.

Stumping still to do at this point but I see no reason to hold off in giving Tall Trees a 5 star review. Originally meant to drop two trees in the back, but Benjamin pointed out one was a very healthy (and potentially beautiful) Swedish Aspen that would flourish when the other tree was gone, so we agreed to let it stay. They found a second Aspen sapling and replanted it for me.

I just liked that about them. They came into make things better, not just to follow the brief, and I appreciated that. All of them were friendly, courteous and clearly knew their business. Very thorough clean up afterwards, too.

Unconditionally recommend Tall Trees. Not got a bad thing to say about them.

Tall Trees recently removed a tree from our backyard. I must admit they did a good job. The crew cleaned up the debris and left the area looking good. But as they dragged the remains through our side yard the tree parts hit and destroyed some plants I had sitting in large pots. But today the owner called with an apology and that was all I wanted. I would recommend Tall Trees because they care.

Mike Post and his crew are the best. We had them remove some very large trees in close proximity to buildings. They started their work exactly when they said they would. They were very professional. They cleaned up everything before they left. We will definitely use them again.

Their staff went above and beyond to get some trees in a tight space removed from our property. Corey was awesome at his job and confident because he knew what he is doing. We had called two other companies in town who weren’t as friendly or knowledgeable, by the time Cory arrived and assessed the situation. We knew we had the right person. We were able to turn some of our trees into fire wood and grind the stumps on all of them to extend our garden. Highly recommended Tall Trees!

The best tree company in Alaska. Never seen a tree company as professional. Quick. Safe and fun to be around. Watching these guys I have learned a lot and may even go start my own Tree business. But I know these guys. So I will just keep calling these guys for tree work! I highly recommend. Do not believe the 1 star on the comment. It is a lie and probably just a bad customer they ran into!

APEX Tree Care cut down 2 very tall birch trees in my front yard today. This company impressed me. Ben and his crew did an amazing job from start to finish. They are knowledgeable and friendly. Showed up on time, worked efficiently and clean up was great. Pricing was good too. I highly recommend them. 5 stars plus

Very efficient and great customer service! Trimmed 2 trees in less than 2 hours and cleaned everything up afterwards.

Wonderful experience. Benjamin was extremely kind, professional, and easy to communicate with about my project. I requested his help with the time sensitive transfer of some young fruit trees and young birch trees just after thaw to new locations in the yard. They did a great job and provided me with great education about tree planting and care instructions. I genuinely felt like they cared about the success of my trees. The predicted quote was accurate. For tree needs, Apex is who you should choose in Anchorage.
