Tree reviews in Anchorage, Alaska

From reading Alaska resources, spraying early in May is best. We paid a deposit in April 19, confirmed all snow was gone, called again on May 7, again confirmed all snow was gone. Was told they would call with approximate spray time for May 15. Didn’t spray until May 19. Asked twice to let me know time of arrival
so I could cover kale, lettuce, and other veggies. Did not call or text prior to arrival.

Great guys and service even humored me and cut my stumps at different heights for mushrooms and the gentleman that gave me and estimate told me about bowling ball ladybugs :)

Fabulous crew! They made my huge lawn beautiful- trimmed hedges and trees.

The guys showed up on time, were very professional, safety minded and cleaned up all of the tree limbs and leaves. Left area cleaner than before.
Would recommend Gage Tree Services to anyone who needs their services!

We have used Gage several times in the past and have been very happy with price and service.
Unfortunately, I am having to post this as a warning. I understand that inflation causes prices to rise and that’s just the nature of the beast. However when they give a quote for $1000 a tree because it has to be topped there’s a problem. Beware you aren’t going to get a fair quote from Gage Tree service.
Gauge tree service you just priced yourself out of our return/repeat customer business.

Gage tree service gave me a quote and after approval showed up in less than a week to remove a very large tree next to the house. They were fast and professional with competitive pricing. I would definitely use Gage tree service in the future!

First, better estimate from Jonah than from others.

Second, Daniels' brilliant tree-cutting technique for one of the two spruce we contracted for. Hard to believe without seeing, so I have attached a video....hope it loads.

Third, Daniel and his crew cut the trunks in 16" pieces, cleaned up the saw-chips on the lawn, cleaned the driveway of stuff that had escaped from the chipper.

All within two hours.

Fourth, this crew of three is a very had-working team.

Although they showed up later than expected the clearing was done very carefully without damage to the trees I wanted to save. The results were great.

Like clockwork! Have called on Gage Tree Service for years for tree removal and spruce bark beetle spraying. They came out this year with the same great level of service. These guys on the crew were quick, personable, and professional. I engaged Gage to clear brush and undergrowth along my driveway and they did a great job. The estimate they drafted describing the scope of work for the job was accurate, understandable, and comprehensive. There were no surprises or additional charges. I recommend them highly.

We had Gage do a fairly big job at our house - multiple trees removed and trimming/shaping a massive area of bushes - and they were AMAZING! Gage removing tree/stump from our property was flawless. The well-orchestrated team was cool to watch: the tree climber and equipment workers worked in a safe manner to limb the tree and clear and chip the results. Their manager was very conscious of cleaning any debris out of the yard, driveway and street. A+!

We've used Gage over the years to take down large trees or prune trees that we can't. They always do a GREAT job, clean up everything, are courteous & hard working. I highly recommend this company!
