Water Damage Restoration reviews in Anchorage, Alaska

Wesley Wolfe and Braedon Butler were in charge of my basement renovation. They kept me informed as they worked, and the crews did a good job. I am very happy with the end result!

In December 2024 a pipe burst in our house in Anchorage, Alaska. The water flooded a part of the house and the garage. It took a few days for rhe neighbors to discover the leak. By then there was a lot of damage to the house.

It was a Sunday. We contacted TCM and in less than an hour a crew arrived and started working on mitigating the damage. They cut out and removed wet carpets, and they installed dehumidifiers and other equipment to dry the house. They did an excellent job!

In the following days TCM workers came daily to our house to monitor the progress, and they started the restoration work. We were very pleased with their work and professionalism. If you have a big problem with damage to the house from some disastrous event then TCM is certainly the company you should call.

Warning to all homeowners: be aware of the business practices of this company. I had a sewage loss several months ago and called tcm to remediate. After signing paperwork and getting an initial clean up, I was left high and "dry" for months with little or no communication between this company and my insurance company or me. After some time I was forced to finish the remediation myself. Months afterwards they started sending emails with many typos that were sent to my spam. They charged me asbestos testing without any intention of removal and extraction services when there was no standing water. My insurance company would not cooperate with them at all and I was saddled with the intire bill after fixing my own property. I recommend ServiceMaster of Alaska or Taylored Restoration Services for any fire or flood loss. These companies are much more professional and organized and I have used them in the past with satisfaction.

As a licensed property manager overseeing multiple homes for out-of-state owners, I understand how stressful it can be to discover serious water damage. What eases that burden is partnering with a professional company that clearly explains the process—whether it's an insurance claim or not. As a property manager, I value companies that provide prompt, transparent bids and invoices, making processing seamless. Whenever I face remediation or mold issues, my General Contractors consistently recommend TCM as the best in town.

This company has poor communication. You have to ask for itemized estimates, repeatedly, otherwise you get a document that is a vague summary and pricing. They came after hours to respond to a water damage call and provided dehumidifiers but refused to remove flooring so we had to remove flooring ourselves but they tried to charge for the flooring work they didn’t do. Thankfully they took it off the bill without hassle but that should not have happened in the first place. I gave them the second star because the demolition work took one half day and the work was fine. Do not go with these people for repair. They have a provision in their contract where you agree to give them over every penny your insurance company pays out related to the claim, not just pay them for the work they actually do. During the process I constantly had to tell them to narrow the scope to the minimum necessary with no upgrades. I did not go with them for repairs because of this and when I called to explain that their contract is inappropriate I was told it can’t be changed but that it is pretty typical. That isn’t true. Save your money.

When we had a water leakage problem, we called TCM Restoration, within the hour Jeffery, arrived and inspected the areas effected. He explained what they would do to remedy our situation, he answered all of our questions and started right away with dehumidifiers, fans and heat. Later he and another guy (Mike) removed the damaged carpets, backing and other ruined items. Thanks to their fast professional service, we saved more then we lost. They were life savers, very appreciated, Thank you guys.

The company and estimator were great to work with. They communicated clearly and promptly following through on my requests and on their promises.

The field crew did a fantastic job cleaning the crawl space and making the the necessary restoration repairs. They were respectful of our home as well as friendly and responsive whenever we interacted.

We’ve used TCM before and will use them the next time we have home restoration needs, which hopefully won’t happen soon. However, if it does, we know who to contact

Very responsive and communicative. Helpful throughout the whole process of fixing a flooded basement.

We came downstairs to a flooded basement one morning. TCM's remediation response team was there to help us within a few hours. By the end of the day, our basement was cleared of standing water and they had fans running to dry things out. David, Tyler, Chris, Wes, Roy, and the rest of the team were great to work with, and I'd recommend this company without hesitation.

I always appreciate the honest good quality work provided by the folks at Roy Briley. They're on time, professional, and always clean up. Thanks to Chris, Ryan, and Randy for always going the extra mile to get the job done right every time.

To Start here, I have to Thank the Two Joe's. Both of these Young Men are Awesome. With Josiah at the beginning, he showed up here at my House on Time and with a quickness we planned out the Remodel on My Bathroom. This was a Tub to Shower conversion, Going from a 50 year plus Tub to a modern Shower Enclosure. Adding to that new everything, new Sink, Throne, Lighting, Floor, and Fan.
Both Joe's Demoed my Bathroom in a Day a week or so later, right down to the Studs. They contracted a great Plumber for me from Eagle River Heating, Robin redid all the Pipes the next day and set it up for a combo Rain Shower Head and Wand.
Scott the boss, showed up here part way thru day 2 and made sure I was Happy, I was indeed,
A Long Story Short here, if you Need a Remodel call these nice and Professional Folks here. They are the best I have the pleasure to have in my Home. Very Polite and Courteous, they included me in all aspects of what was being done while it was being performed. Thank You to all the Nice People at Roy Briley.

Great response to a water mitigation emergency I had. Great communication, prompt responses.

Rodney and Christian have been amazing. Great communication and very accomodating. It's clear that they take pride in their work and care about their work product and customer concerns/wants. Could not be happier with their service.

Had an ice dam and interior damage. Hired them to do a drywall patch and paint. Came out looking better than original. Paint and texture matched perfectly. Also had them replace a toilet in my home and Steve did a great job. Will use them again for sure.

Steve worked and replaced our broken toilet. He did an excellent job. Steve came on time at the appointment and started the job promptly.

We needed a bathroom remodel done ASAP as we were prepping house to put on the market - these guys DELIVERED!! Their professionalism, communication and craftsmanship were all A+. Got the job done within 1 day! I highly recommend Roy Briley General Contracting. I'm contacting them tomorrow for another project we need done.

Veteran brother of mine ETS'd recently. Used this company to complete some renovations. All invoices were paid and more upon completion of the house. Upon selling the home, we find out they failed to notify and do their legal obligation to notify us of a lien on the house. Now they are asking for $10,000+, for wrongfully submitting documents they never told us or the title company about. I would suggest using other companies and stay clear of these guys. They do shady deals and refuse to update the customer on important details in a timely manner.

This company was hired by my HOA to work on unit. They called to alert me they were coming to do the work when they had already at my home. They got paint on my ring camera and misplaced my exterior rug. I never knew the name of the contractor that did the work, but when he asked me what I thought about the repairs, I was honest and said I had concerns and he basically said that the work done was as good as it was going to get. Additionally, the work performed on the exterior of my unit caused damage to the interior and they said they were not at fault and drafted a separate bill for those repairs and to fix the paint of the exterior that they did totaling more than $1000. This company has great ratings, but unfortunately that was not my experience.

We love Roy Briley! We have been using them for all of our needs the last couple of years. We have 3 locations & a sister company that they have worked on various projects for. They've done everything from getting our washer & dryer stacked & put away correctly to redoing our bathroom floor. They complete anything we have ever given them in a timely fashion (they have even come to our rescue when we have an emergency) & their work is always fantastic! We highly recommend using Roy Briley!

Sent in pictures of water damage and Steve got here really promptly. He was super polite and did a great job explaining what was generally going on and letting me know what to do moving forwards. It was a great experience and very comforting knowing people cared and are paying attention!

My bathroom sinks were not draining. Chris K. at Roy Briley thought it was probably a simple fix and sent one of the Jack of all trades, whose name is Steve. I didn’t wait long at all; the sinks were soon fixed. In Anchorage, a plumber is tricky to schedule. Every business seems understaffed. Additionally, the bill was half the price of a plumber. This is the second project Roy Briley has completed for us. We are very satisfied and will continue to work with them. Lee, the project manager was easy to communicate with and always answered his phone and text messages promptly. Joe and Jacob got right to work when they were scheduled and continued to return until the job was finished. They both did exceptional work. I was most pleased by how well they prepped the work area and also cleaned up after they were finished.
