Reviews of local pros in Apache Junction, Arizona

Great, honest company. Had pavers installed and did an excellent job. Gave me ideas, and was done at an incredible amount of time. I would definitely recommend. I’ll have Edgar and his crew back again to complete projects. 10 stars.

For the past five years, we’ve relied on Edger’s Landscaping for various projects around our home in Gold Canyon, and we couldn’t be happier with his work. His pricing is fair, he responds promptly, and his workmanship is top-notch. On top of that, he’s incredibly easy to work with.

Here are some of the projects he’s completed for us:
• bricked our front entrance
And Built a front patio
• Re-rocked our front and backyards
• Planted several new shrubs
• Revamped our sprinkler system

We trust Edger to deliver thorough, high-quality results on every task we’ve given him. Plus, if any adjustments are needed, he’s always readily available to make it right.

Edgar and his crew are fabulous. They did our previous home and when we built a new house, there was no question, EH was our number one choice. Professional, affordable, knowledgeable with absolutely stunning results. Jeff & Pam Rogers

I’d give 10 stars if I could. Make this landscaper your first and only call. They are ARTISTS!! Transformed my dirt backyard into an oasis in 3 days for a reasonable price. The entire process was seamless. Nick was awesome, he didn’t require me to spell out every detail, he knew what would look good and they nailed it. Great people. White glove service. CALL THEM.

Have to say at first we were pretty happy with the service. Nick giving the estimate was very friendly. On the day of we were really surprised when other people showed up to do the job, we had no idea they subcontracted their work.. not too huge of a deal but transparency wasn’t there. The workers that came probably worked 2 hours out of the 8 they were here- otherwise sat around by our house on their phones and by the windows. A 4 day job that probably should have taken 2. We were verbally told one price on the day of when adding a little bit of pavers, then sent the invoice and it was double what we were verbally told. The workers started one area that we had requested to be paved, then decided they didn’t want to do it and covered it back up with rock. They left and we were told they were done- had to call the company and ask them to come and finish it. There is also a drain for rainwater, which traditionally a pipe of some sort would be attached and go under the pavers so water doesn’t pool and the pavers don’t get ruined, however pavers were just placed next to it. We now have to figure out how to either block this or hire someone else to fix it. The first rainstorm after the work, all of the sand in the front of the driveway flowed down and out of the joints of the pavers- and we now have to buy the correct sand, polymeric sand, to fill the gaps. Overall was happy until the work was done, with the amount we paid we expected a bit more transparency and better workmanship. I get our project wasn't the huge and fancy that they were used to, but we should still receive the same quality of work. I tried to call a few times and no one answers the phone.

Went to a local home show looking for a landscape company to transform our back yard. Modern Desert Landscapes were the only landscape company there. So we took a chance. Wow 😮 are we happy with the transformation. They are a great company to work with, they do what they say they are going to do. They were always on time. Always cleaned up when they were done. And I feel that their pricing for what they did was very fair. Will definitely use them for any future projects. Nick was the person who helped a lot with the design and modified as we went along as we collaborated on the design. A great company to do business with.

Professional, quick, high quality work too. The guys over there are super easy to work with! I would give 6 stars if I could

I had my backyard landscaped to include a lot of pavers, 3 trees, 15 plants and turf in 2 locations. I can’t speak highly enough of their paver guys!! My yard is 3/4’s pavers and they are ALL even and level! The turf looks like lush green grass and is soft to walk on. Job was done efficiently, quickly and professionally. Any questions or concerns I had were addressed quickly! Nick and his crew are wonderful!!

The entire team at Modern Desert Exceeded our expectations. The patience it took to deal with me deserves 10 stars. I changed my mind on what I wanted numerous times, then the team exceeded my expectations on the installation of our Pavers, gravel, and turf.

Nick, Erin, Charles, Kaleb and the team are fantastic! Awesome to work with! Right from initial appointment, to estimate, signing contract and finally the finished landscape project the entire experience was very enjoyable.
