Keven was incredible! My AC went out late in the evening and he made his way out. He quickly assessed the problem and got my AC back and running before the house hit 90 degrees. I thought I’d be sleeping in sweat but thankfully we’re nice and cool. Reasonably priced, fast, and reliable. 100% recommend!

I called Werx Plumbing and Air on a Saturday and left a voicemail as my unit from 1996 was making a new noise and my air filter was not its usual color. Being skirted around or attempted to be upsold to a new unit historically by other companies had me nervous when I decided to reach out for help but Kevin promptly returned my call and put me at ease. He attentively listened to my details, was ready to put me on the schedule first thing and remained accommodating of my needs when I only had a two hour window later in the week for service.
Before hanging up, he offered to have me text pictures of my discolored air filter I was primarily concerned about and confirmation of my physical address as my situation was unique to me given my history with the older unit. Despite my mixup and texting the wrong number, he still had me on the books Wednesday and reached out to me to confirm the appointment time and location.
Quickly after discovering my error and overjoyed he hadn’t discarded my appointment due to my texting mistake, I confirmed the address and he was on his way.
Upon arrival he warmly introduced himself and put on shoe covers before entering my home. While looking at my unit he was clean, methodical and patient. He answered my questions along the way, explained how the unit operated and provided tips for maintaining the longevity of what I have as it’s in great shape. Kevin was able to give me a heads up of situations that would be a challenge to find repair parts for given the age of the unit as well as those that are easier to address. There was no pressure nor up sale for any unnecessary work which was unlike other HVAC experiences I’ve had in the valley. He knew technical specs on how codes and refrigerants have changed over the years and educated me so I could be a more knowledgeable homeowner.
When I questioned if the air filter discoloration could be coming from my gas water heater having a dirty pilot light, he didn’t call me crazy, he let me explain my thinking and checked out my concern. When doing so, he discovered I only had one co2 monitor on the opposite end of the house and even gave me the caring advice of installing a closer one to my gas furnace. When I said I could grab one at the hardware store and install it, he agreed with me and didn’t challenge my decision nor try to pressure me into buying his product and service.
My experience with Wrex Plumbing and Air was exceptional and like none other experienced in Phoenix. I am more then satisfied and will be calling them to return for any future needs I’m sure to have. Thank you Kevin and Wrex Plumbing and Air!
