Peter was very informative and made sure to explain my options about my AC. I could see he was being honest and not trying to price gouge me. I would recommend this company for any AC repair work you need.

Our AC went out last night (7/15). Booked online around 10pm. Only available call was for Wednesday but received a text saying they could be out by 7am in the morning. Luckily it was an easy fix. Cool air by 7:30am!! Great customer service, great techs, great honest company!!

The gentleman that came out to fix my unit was wonderful. His name is Peter. He explained what he was doing each step of the way. He was very polite, knew what he was doing, fixed it on the spot. Amazing service called them and got set an appointment right away with text info with eta. We do not have much knowledge on a/c units and Peter did an amazing job doing all the work that needed to be done and an AMAZING job educating us as home owners. We will definitely be calling them for now on for any a/c needs and we highly highly recommend!!!!

I discovered Alvarado’s a few years ago and they have been amazing since day one. Very professional and friendly. They have come annually for a tuneup and for any issues in between. They most recently came on 3/12/25 for a tuneup and discovered I also needed to replace a motor in my ac. No one ever wants to spend more money, but they explained the pros and cons and completed the job quickly to ensure we are ready for summer. After years of dealing with other subpar chain ac companies through a home warranty, I’m so glad I found Alvarado’s!

I highly recommend Alvarado's Heating and Cooling. Peter, one of the service guys explained every detail that was wrong and also showed me exactly what was going on with my AC. Both he and Jose were very respectful and courteous! Great customer service!

Had this company look at our unit when be bought our house. Stated low on freon and that the coils were dirty. Paid ~$800 to refill freon at the time of that appointment asked if there was anything that would make our unit NOT last another 5-10 years. They didnt state any big concerns. Within a a month or so started having huge AC issues. Contacted same company to see if they could take a look and help us find a part or troubleshoot since less than 3 months after their last job. Charged ~$300 to tell us that 2+ parts are not working right and we may have a refrigerant leak. Guy was unsure kept having to call other people. Stated that work and parts (2+) would cost $10k and they recommended buying a new unit. Really poor insights into issues and customer service.
After spending $1100+ in the past couple months with this company contacted home warranty company who sent out a technician from another company who was fast, didnt have to call anyone else and stated ONLY the condenser was having issues and that part was not made anymore.
To recap, charged an egregious amount to tell us incorrect information.

Had a great experience with Alvarado’s heating and cooling! Our AC went out in the afternoon and I called, spoke with Allan who was able to get us set up for maintenance the next morning. While they do not normally repair the type of AC unit I have, Allan was able to fix it and walk me through any issues they saw during the repair process. The pricing was also reasonable and fair. I would recommend this company for any AC repairs!

On the hottest day in August my AC went out. Allen came out right away, identified the problem and replaced the part. AC was back up and running in less than an hour.

Blower motor blew, while the technician was servicing it, now I have another company fixing it for 650 includes a new motor. Plus it needed a filter. You guys came to my house twice in the last 5 years, charged me 650 or so for a switch, then 570 for transformer last November 2024, and never once said I needed a filter, as dust was flying everywhere. Plus you charged me 79$ for the technician because he looked at it half way. Rip off!

My HVAC has been serviced by a another company due to their “military friendly” status. After I noticed that my emergency drain pipe was leaking, I called them right away and send numerous emails. 3 days went by and still no response; I started to panic. I went on the neighborhood app and I saw a representative advertising this family-owned company. I don’t do good with change but I wanted to tackle this issue right away. As soon as I sent an email on Saturday night, I got a text message that someone will come Monday morning. I assumed it was an estimated timeline and get a possible cancellation due to the urgency or priority others may have.

Monday morning, I got a text message that Peter was on his way. Peter showed up within the estimate time frame, he was extremely professional and heard all my concerns. He talked in a way I could understand and every time he was about to do something, he walked me through it. He answered all of my questions without judgement.

He had a contactless square payment method (tap, chip or swipe). The whole process was safe and efficient. He made sure I had the invoice with the warranty information. The invoice is detailed with everything that was conducted and serviced. The other company called me today, I told them I will no longer need their services. My a/c is cooling a lot faster and running efficiently. Thanks Peter.

I had Service Tech Peter come out to perform maintenance on our AC unit, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. He arrived right within the scheduled time window and even called ahead to let me know he was on his way. Upon arrival, Peter was professional, courteous, and took the time to answer all of my questions. He demonstrated great knowledge and attention to detail during the inspection, even sending me videos to keep me informed about what he was checking in the attic where the furnace is located. This is such an amazing company! They were able to help our family when our AC unit stopped working in August. We called 2 other companies and we couldn't afford their prices. Alvarados was able to help us within our budget and their customer service was great.
