I had a problem with my furnace intake. It was very noisy and I couldn't get the cover off to replace my filter. I called CDL and Jake came out at the promised day and time and made the perfect adjustments. It wasn't a big fix but he spent time making sure it was fixed right and gave me a few pointers on replacing the filters. Now it won't wake me up at night! I was very pleased. Jake was very professional and courteous.

CDL Mechanical saved the day!
In the middle of this brutal Arizona heatwave, our office AC unit completely gave out—just when we needed it most. CDL Mechanical responded quickly, diagnosed the problem with precision, and had us back up and running in no time. The techs were professional, knowledgeable, and respectful of our workspace. It's rare to find a company that delivers both quality service and fast turnaround like this.

Great work, but overpriced. CDL Mechanical was quick to respond to my Damper problem the day after I called. Antonio did a great job in diagnosing the issue and recommending a fix. He called into the office to get the price and I was quoted $895 plus tax to replace a damper assembly (the motor went bad in my original assembly). The $85 service visit would be waived if I proceeded.

After Antonio left, I felt that this was a little high priced. My internet research indicated that this job should be about $450. I then called a friend that is a specialist in HVAC (he’s just not available on short notice). He told me that this is indeed about a $500 job. We looked up the part together. The replacement assembly could be purchased online for about $150. Let’s say they mark up the part at 100% which seems excessive That’s $300.

I called up the CDL office to discuss the charges and asked if they could bring the price down, they told me no. I asked for a breakdown of the charges. The representative told me that they charge three hours of labor, but he refused to tell me what he was charging me for the part. On the high side, in my estimates would be $170/hr at most. (170*3 = 510). Ultimately, I accept their quotation because I felt I had momentum and had to get the job done, despite being overpriced. Antonio actually took 1 hour to do the work, not a second more. He was professional and appears to have done good work.

Add up the $300 part which is excessive, then add $510 in labor which is excessive and I’m still at $810! Then the price they quote me was $895 plus tax! It doesn’t add up. I feel they preyed on my immediate need. If you have peak pricing, tell that to the customer, not this shell game, failing and refusing to tell the customer what makes up the charge. I suggest looking elsewhere on price. Had they come down $200, I would have given these guys 5 stars.

CDL was awesome. Josh and I had a great talk about an issue and he flat took care of it. Service was great and fast and Josh understood the issue at hand. I can say with confidence that I would recommend CDL Mechanical for you HVAC needs.

Jake came out for some warranty things on our new build. He did an excellent job. He was extremely considerate, helpful and patient. He was the only worker that day kind enough to wear booties on his boots even though he had to exit the house a good 15 times, he removed and replaced them each time. He informed us well about the repairs made and showed us pictures. We felt very confident in the work Jake did and would recommend CDL.

Jesse came to do an semi annual checkup on my ac unit. He showed up early which was nice. Was very prompt to get everything completed and very pleasant to have a nice conversation with. I had an issue with my new build home and its lack of heating in the master-side area. Layton the tech from CDL showed up early and had corrected this issue and a separate one involving the wifi smart thermostat. A very impressive performance by Layton who is remarkable for his knowledge of HVAC and related systems.

We are very satisfied with the work CDL Mechanical did to replace our heating and cooling system in our home. Turned the furnace on this morning (Saturday 1/10/26) for the first time this winter as the house was 66 degrees. It kicked on and ran for about 5 minutes and shutoff with the house temp only reaching 68. After a few troubleshooting ideas it was clear we had bigger issues. I called CDL Mechanical and spoke with Nikki who took all our information and advised she would reach out to their technician who was one another job to see about getting us on his schedule. A few minutes later she called back and said the technician advised he would respond once he completed the job he was on.

About 35 minutes later Technician Layton called and advised he would be heading our way. Upon arrival he accessed the attic and immediately identified the issue. Layton was able to quickly make the repair and get the furnace running. Nikki and Layton were both very friendly and professional in their duties. They were able to get us taken care of within just a few hours of contacting the company for service. Excellent customer service!

John came out on time and provided great service. I had just a year HVAC maintenance completed. Great communicator and explained to me the different parts of my system. Highly recommend this family owned company.

This is our 3rd service maintenance on our AC using CDL Mechanical. Layton came out during the time scheduled. He was very professional yet down to earth. Very efficient and made sure any questions my wife had were answered. We request Layton because we know he does a great maintenance.

Josh came out to our home cuz we had an issue with our new ac unit. He was very friendly, explained how he’d been here before we bought this house and it all worked he wasn’t sure how the thermostat was set like that but he was able to fix it and he checked the unit out and made sure it was up & running before he left.
