Nick and his staff provided an excellent landscape plan and execution of the install for our backyard down to every detail. They are responsive, on-time, and the most ethical company we have worked with in a long time! Highly recommend!

We are repeat customers of Tranquil Oasis. We recently purchased a new home and the backyard was definitely not optimal for us. We approached Nick and when he came over we shared our ideas with him. A couple of days later he came back with a drawing and plans that not only met but exceeded our expectations.

The project included the building of a patio outdoor kitchen area, a seating area around a built-in fire-pit, installation of travertine flooring, a custom built water feature, installing artificial turf with travertine edging, small pathways, and of course the removal of old plants and debris, and the planting of new plants and trees. A new sprinkler system and landscape accent lighting were also installed.

In addition, Nick offered to relocate some of the plants that grew in our back yard and did not fit into the new back yard design to our front yard, giving our front yard a much-needed face lift. He also redid the front yard sprinkler system and added some landscape lighting and additional plants.

Throughout the project Nick continuously worked with us to get our inputs and feedback, even covering the smallest details that in the big scheme of things did not seem to matter that much but when all is said and done, it made a big difference in the outcome of the whole project.

His team worked tirelessly on the project, always showing up on time and cleaning up at the end of the day before they left. They are all very friendly, knowledgeable, and skillful, focusing on the minor details that make a project look good and that contribute to a professional outcome.

We are very happy with our new, beautiful, and functional back yard, and our re-vitalized front yard. Our own "Tranquil Oasis".

Not only are we pleased with the landscape outcome, his team was friendly, well coordinated, skilled, on time and cleaned up at the end of every day.

We had a backyard that needed some love. All we had was a pool, a pergola, and gravel. Tranquil Oasis put in plants, pavers, and sexier gravel. The process from start-to-finish was great. Nick is honest, prompt, meticulous, holds himself to a high standard of professionalism and his employees to high standards of craftsmanship.

Nick would actually arrive on time to appointments (how novel!) during the planning phase. If you’ve ever dealt with contractors before, you will really appreciate someone who is actually prompt. Nick worked with us in the planning stages to design the type of backyard we wanted, making suggestions to optimize the design and explaining why some of our ideas would be regrettable while making other recommendations that stayed within our budget. He also stayed within the budget throughout the completion of the project.

Once we were done with the design phase, Nick gave us the timeline on which he delivered. His employees showed up on time every morning to work hard and diligently. I very much appreciated their efforts to clean up their work space at the end of each day. They didn’t leave a bunch of tools and supplies scattered around the yard when they were done for the day.

We were a relatively small job so I was expecting them to do work that was “good enough” so that they could move onto their next gig.To my surprise, this company applied a high standard of craftsmanship in working in our backyard. I don’t see any aspects where they cut corners. They actually went above & beyond in several areas of the job.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone considering making changes to their yard, I would definitely recommend Tranquil Oasis Landscapes. When we’re ready to start another project, we will definitely ask Nick to take on the job.

Since purchasing our home a few years ago one of our goals was to do a major redesign of our outdoor kitchen and pool area which was outdated with an awkward layout and overcrowded landscaping. We called Nick and told him our thoughts for the space and his design was the perfect fit. Our project involved laying travertine around the entire patio and pool area, building a new island for the grill and a stone bench with a fire pit to flow into the patio area and simplifying the landscaping. Nick has an exceptional eye for detail and was extremely helpful suggesting materials that matched the style of the design and what looked and functioned best in the space. He places equal importance on what's best/safest in the design for the structural elements of the home and has the knowledge and resources in place to deal with those issues as they come up. Nick works with a fantastic crew that arrived on time everyday, was respectful of our property and answered any questions we had, big or small. Follow-up with Nick after the job has been terrific. Nick and his team transformed our yard into a STUNNING and functional outdoor “oasis” that we can enjoy for years to come! Definitely will call them again for any future landscaping needs. We used Nick and Guillermo to update our landscaping. They initially redid all of our landscape lights since the originals were 25 years old. Their placement of the lights dramatically improved the curb appeal of the property. We asked Nick to come up with some ideas for transforming our backyard from a large grass expanse with mismatched patios. The end result is amazing! We now have a xeriscaped backyard (still a much smaller grass area for the dogs) that looks like it has been there forever. They did a great job on converting to travertine patios, redoing the irrigation, selecting and planting desert flora. They stayed on budget and always left the site clean. If we have another project, we will definitely use them

Nick is a very meticulous and honest person. His guys are excellent as well, especially Guiermo. I was waiting for the updated website in order to leave a review. I am glad I did. Tranquil Oasis was employed for multiple projects over the last 2 years. They created quality spaces with meticulous craftsmanship including landscape remodel of our front yard along with creating a beautiful waterfall/pond feature, putting greens, horseshoe court, retaining walls, outdoor fireplace/grill remodel, tile pool decking, citrus trees as well as a foundation for a shed! All top notch.
We recently had a problem with the irrigation system and the programming for the control valves was not correct after someone else tried to correct the problem. Nick came out and fixed the programmer today, Friday, after a long day at his other project.
He is much appreciated and I recommend Tranquil Oasis to anyone who wants a job done right and who takes pride in their work even after the job is done.

When I moved into my house over 10 years ago, I was lucky enough to find Nick and Tranquil Oasis Landscapes to design and install my front and back yards, which were dirt. I loved my low maintenance, yet lush landscaping when Nick and his crew finished My backyard is complete with a water feature, fire pit, flower beds, and plenty low maintenance, colorful plants. My backyard was indeed transformed into a peaceful oasis that I can enjoy myself, or with friends and family. Feedback is consistent that my backyard is beautiful and relaxing - just what I hoped for. Fast forward to last month when I decided it was time for a refresh after the heat of the recent summers took its toll. I think when you ask that someone come back to do additional work, it says a great deal about professionalism and satisfaction with the work. Nick came out and provided a bid within a couple of days and started work within a week. As usual, the crew showed up on time and completed the work as scheduled. It's like a I have a new front and back yard! Nick has a great eye for design and his crew is fast and accomplished. I could not be happier!!

I recently decided to renovate my backyard and incorporate two pergolas that I had previously purchased within the hardscape around my pool and backyard. Additional features I wanted was a floating counter, fireplace, and entertainment wall. One of the biggest challenges I had was incorporating my existing hardscape and pool decking from 10 years ago within the new hardscape so it would transition seamlessly. I contacted multiple landscape design companies for estimates and decided to go with Tranquil Oasis. Tranquil Oasis did an excellent job, and I am beyond pleased with the outcome.
Out of all the estimates I received, Nick (owner of Tranquil Oasis) was the ONLY company that measured the space and identified potential obstacles up front that I would be facing. Additionally, he was the only one to provide a scaled design with his estimate. Nick took the time to review my initial design I had drafted on landscaping software and pointed out issues that I would have never considered. Tranquil Oasis came in lower than most of the other estimates, and the companies they were higher than (not by much), I had already decided right away I would not use for other glaring reasons.
Nick’s foreman Guillermo and team were great. They were on time every day, maintained a clean and safe workspace, kind, had excellent work ethic, and paid attention to detail. Throughout the project, they were very flexible with any changes/enhancements I requested. As with any project, unforeseen issues arise. Nick and team were able to recommend solutions and, on a few occasions, decided that it needed to be done a different way instead of leaving as is. They took the time to fix the issue and make sure it met their high standards. After the project was completed, any questions or concerns I had, were addressed promptly. Nick was quick to come out and assess any issues (all small) and act.
I knew I would be spending quite a bit of money on this project especially with the cost of materials in today’s world. I took a leap of faith (coupled with some due diligence) with Tranquil Oasis Landscaping. Nick had very unique ideas and touches that really elevated the design beyond what I could have imagined. His standards and integrity are very high, and it showed throughout the entire project. He did not cut any corners. I highly recommend Tranquil Oasis Landscaping.

Awesome work on our backyard!

Prior to our landscape install we had a pool and a sad patch of grass that never got used. Nick suggested expanding the patio and installing an outdoor kitchen to draw people into that area to make it more useable. So glad we went that route, as our backyard is now our little slice of paradise and is an amazing place to entertain.

The quality of work is top notch. Nick is meticulous with his work and it was done correctly. I highly recommend Tranquil Oasis; they truly knocked it out of the park.

Tranquil Oasis Landscapes recently completed a xeriscape design and installation for our front yard and backyard. The project proceeded smoothly, remained on schedule, and produced a great outcome. We are very pleased with Nick Bourque and his Tranquil Oasis Team and highly recommend them for any landscape design project.

Nick listened to our ideas and produced a brilliant design that allows us to enjoy our entire yard. He was very collaborative during the design and installation process. He incorporated our ideas for materials and plants into the design. He also clearly explained why certain ideas were not feasible.

Guillermo and his crew worked efficiently and diligently. They showed up on time every day and cleaned up at the end of each day. Our neighbors even commented on how impressed they were with the team’s punctuality and work ethic.

Nick maintained an open line of communication keeping us updated on the schedule for each week. He showed up daily to monitor the status of the project. He promptly addressed any isolated issues.

Overall, we feel extremely fortunate to have worked with Tranquil Oasis Landscapes. The project was the best experience we had collaborating with a contractor during our 30+ years as homeowners.

I highly recommend Tranquil Oasis Landscapes. Nick and his crew did an excellent job completing phase 1 of my backyard redesign. They installed a new irrigation system, paver borders, bases for a shed and a future sport court area, a bunch of trees and plants, and new gravel.

They completed the project in the time estimated and I like that this company only focuses on one project at a time, rather than juggling multiple projects at once like competitors do. Additionally, Nick was always patient and respectful in our communications as we figured out what we wanted to do and how to break the work into phases to fit our budget.

I look forward to working with Tranquil Oasis Landscapes again to complete phase 2 of the redesign, where we will be getting some more pavers installed.

I cannot say enough fantastic things about Nick and his foreman Guillermo and team. I knew some elements that I wanted incorporated into my backyard renovation, and Nick took these ideas and came up with a blueprint that was beyond what I myself could have imagined for the space. Nick and his team really care about the work they do and everything was very professional and top quality materials and work. I also had three pre-purchased pergolas that they put together and anchored to the ground. This work was done a couple of months ago and all structures and plantings have stood strong against these monsoon storms and haboobs we have been having recently. We basically gutted the entire backyard except for the actual pool itself. It is absolutely my dream backyard now. Nick and his team also designed a beautiful waterfall for a sacred garden space. Note the picture is a portion of the waterfall itself. We are going to add the plantings at a later date. There are several before pictures that show the scant plantings and huge area of grass that Nick and team had just begun demo work on. They also added lighting effects. Nick and his team are very caring and put a lot of love into the space. It is absolutely gorgeous and I highly recommend Tranquil Oasis Landscapes.

Jamie was wonderful to work with. He came out explained what we needed to do and executed the job quickly and very neatly. He showed up every day until the job was completed and texted me every day letting me know what time he will arrive and what work will be done that day. We had our entire irrigation system replaced and new landscaping rocks refreshed.

We could not have been more happy with the work The Yard Stylist and their team did with bringing our front yard and backyard remodel to life! Jamie and Julie are a dream team to work with. They constantly checkin on the project, they are quick to resolve any thing that arises, and they are helpful in helping guide you through the process! Their prices are reasonable, we got a few estimates prior to making a decision their pricing is very reasonable for their quality and level of service. Even after the job was completed they have returned to take care of a couple items that arose. Quality of work and craftsmanship is 5 star. We completely gutted our front and back, they did everything from pavers, stone, turf, planting, irrigation, pergola, putting green, and even connected us with a pool remodel company who did that part! I would recommend them to anyone I know and will use them if we have any future yard projects! You can’t go wrong with The Yard Stylist!

They did a good job with paver work and pergola but horrible at irrigation and sod. This husband and wife have horrible communication and customer service skills. They could care less and do things on their terms. They communicate when convenient for them. Would never recommend them to anyone. Not a professional company.
