Shain has serviced my pool for over a year and has never missed a day. The few times he has had to reschedule, he sends an email a week ahead of time informing me of the rescheduled cleaning day. He alerts me about pool pump maintenance and anything else I should be aware of. He is organized and prepared, and his work is high quality. The pool looks great.

We recently upgraded our pool pump, filter, and plumbing. PH Balanced Pool Service had the best price for the equipment we wanted. Shain removed our old equipment and installed the new equipment. He showed up when he said he would be there and performed quality work!

After replacing my old pool two years ago I opted for someone to maintain my pool as I sucked at it. After combing thru all the different companies out there I found Shain at pH Balanced Pool Service. What a difference having someone with expertise. Shain shows up every week around the same time, something unusual these days. Yes he does take off for vacation and holidays but always communicates that. He goes above and beyond making sure to remind me to schedule my filter cleaning with him and provides all the necessary chemicals to keep my pool crystal clear. Always friendly and answers all my questions.

pH Balanced Pool Service and more specifically Shain Jorgensen has been my go-to pool service for as long as I have owned my house. I have found him to be reliable, responsive and thorough. He communicates well with his clients and keeps them informed on a regular basis. His service is top-notch and he is certainly someone that you can count on for all of your pool service needs.

We went with pH Balanced after my original company raised their prices. My previous company was great, they were communicative and did a great job. pH Balanced unfortunately was nowhere near that level. From the beginning I asked for photos or weekly emails/texts, just to show proof that they were there cleaning my pool. Their response was that they didn’t know what I was asking for and that they didn’t do that. My pool was typically clean, so obviously they came and did their job. But on weeks where they couldn’t make it out on their scheduled day, they just didn’t communicate that. One week they didn’t come until a Saturday I believe, and didn’t warn us that they’d be there. At one point they told us we needed a new pool pump and quoted us $2300 to replace it. We called our home warranty company who came out and replaced a part and fixed the issue. A year later our pump finally went, and again they provided the quote. We reached out to a separate pool repair company to get a second opinion, and unfortunately it did need to get replaced. We had it done through the other company a few weeks later, and when I reached out to pH Balanced to resume service I didn’t hear back. I reached out again, where their response was that I “apparently hadn’t gotten their emails” saying they could no longer service us. I asked for a reason, never received a response. It seems very clear they did not appreciate us going elsewhere for our pump, but I did not trust them based on our year+ experience with them. Shain is lacking in his communication and quite frankly rude. I work in customer service as a manager and would never respond to a customer in the way he has to me. I found a new company with great communication who charges less and does a great job. So good riddance, and don’t go with pH Balanced. Go with someone who actually cares about the customer.

Shain has been servicing my pool for 5 years now. He is very knowledgeable about pools and has kept our pool looking great. He is always there every week as scheduled and I would recommend his pool service to anybody that what’s a beautiful pool.

Shine was so customer service friendly when we talked to them! They took time to explain all the details and pricing for cleaning all our windows and did a great job servicing them! I would highly recommend them and can’t wait for them to come put up all our holiday lighting as well! They are amazing!

Jake and Wade were very professional throughout their time cleaning our windows! Friendly. Personable. And my windows, tracks and screens have never been cleaner! Shine was outstanding. They left our windows sparkling clean and did a great job power washing our hardscapes, driveway, and house. They even polisbed our bbq grill. Everything looks brand new and we couldn’t be more pleased. And they were super friendly and communicative. We definitely plan to have them out again. Two big thumbs up from us!

I'm incredibly impressed and would highly recommend Jake and Wade! They came to clean our gutters that were sagging from not properly draining. Jake came out to give an estimate and said they would try repairing the warped section in addition to cleaning. On the service day, they truly went above and beyond to not only spotlessly clean the gutters but also make the repair. They sourced the materials and thoroughly repaired/sealed everything, again exceeding our initial expectations. I greatly appreciated that they cared about ensuring our gutters were operational again. It was also super easy to correspond and schedule service with Jake. I'm definitely planning to hire them again when we need our windows/gutters cleaned!!!

Shine has great customer service from beginning to end, had the windows sparkling clean for a good price within about 28 hours of me reaching out to them. Jake and Wade definitely took the time to do their best work instead of rushing. Would absolutely recommend and hire again.

Jake and his team at Shine did a wonderful job with our windows! Trust me we had some very troublesome dirty windows. They keep at it until they were perfect! They did such a great job we signed up for quarterly cleaning.

We just moved into our home a couple of weeks ago and noticed that when it rained, our gutter over the front porch/awning overflowed with the rain. We checked it and realized that it was clogged up from many years of accumulated dirt and grime. I discovered Shine of the East Valley on Google and left a message after hours to contact me. Jake immediately returned my call - after hours - and we set up a time for him to stop by to clean it out. He came by this morning and arrived right on time with a heads up of 15 minutes - nice touch. He and his partner got right to work and it was amazing to see how much junk was in that small gutter. They were very thorough and cleaned out the gutter, dried off the front porch and driveway and even washed one of our windows that was splashed. I would highly recommend Shine of East Valley for this type of work. We thought the price was fair and I'm sure all of their services are professionally completed. Jake and his partner just finished power washing my park model and patio and driveway. It looks so shiny and bright! They are awesome. Very friendly and professional. I definitely will have them again and highly recommend them.

The folks of Shine of the East Valley (under owner Jake Baxter) did a phenomenal job cleaning my interior and exterior windows, sunscreens, tracks, and blinds!!! My windows have never been so clean (it's like there is no glass there at all), my blinds and window tracts are spotless, and my screens look brand new!!! They arrived on time, wore booties while working inside, and they even gave treats to my dog! Plus they have a 48-hour guarantee if there are any issues. All of this for a reasonable price! This business really does "Shine!"
