Stay clear of this company. They will try to manipulate you and push for you to log an insurance claim. Trust your instincts. They are scammers and just looking to rack up huge $$$ for your insurance to pay out. They did a board up of my home (which I NEVER authorized) for a break in. Over $500 for a couple pieces of plywood! They then called me with pressure tactics regarding logging a claim with my insurance company to perform the repairs. There was no way I was going to A) give them the business of the repairs and B) allow them to take advantage of insurance. They belittled me on the phone and said they couldn't believe I wasn't going to log a claim with my insurance because the repairs were going to be very expensive (in their words). Fast forward to completing the repairs, without their assistance. The total bill of repair came to LESS than my insurance deductible. Don't let this company scare you into going with their services.

Thank you for making our home building experience such a breeze! From start to finish you were great at answering all our questions and keeping us in the loop. Building a home under our unfortunate circumstance of a house fire is rarely considered an easy process but somehow you fall in the bracket of not only making it easy but fun too! I honestly feel like you are my family and that just goes to show how empathetic the entire team is. I have to say some of my favorite things about you guys are: your sense of urgency in everything including response time (you not only get things done, but you get things done right and we were involved in every step of the way which felt like not just rebuilding a house but rebuilding our home), your positive attitude and outlook on everything (you act as if you are building a home for your loved one not a complete stranger), your passion (you SMILE no matter what is happening). Honestly I don't think I can do business with anyone else after working with this team because the standard was set so high as it should be by every company that cares as these guys do. Ben Abel and his crew did an awesome job with the restoration of my fire damaged home. From the first meeting I was well informed of permit needs, scheduling and materials to give me a beautiful, modern and redesigned home in 6 to 8 months. Ben's suggestions on replacement appliances, fixtures, tile, carpet, counter tops, and cabinetry were very much to my liking. Six months of professional work by him and his crew put me back in my "brand new home". DC Restoration and Ben, my go to person, deserve five stars for their efforts in satisfying my needs in returning my beautiful restored home to me within the 6 month schedule.

We had a housefire and constantly went back-and-forth with DC restoration with damages they had done to our personal household good belongings and lost many our personal belongings. We also received items that were not ours I’m glad we took pictures and video of someone from DC restoration picking these items up from our home.
Our microwave was dropped. The door was loose, trim was broken and it was one of those under the range microwaves that’s non-operable. There is still numerous damaged items including 2-30” Frederick Remington statues.
An original RCA Victrola, that was in pristine condition and many other items
This company will blame another company which is owned by the same company and the games goes on and on.
On December 26 I’m filing small claims court. I’m done playing these games. They don’t return phone calls, so I’m just not playing this anymore

We had a major water loss and were so thankful for our superintendent Ron Sadik! He was an absolute pleasure to work with and he made sure that all aspects of the restoration went smoothly. He is very professional and detailed oriented. We could not be happier! Thank you Ron and DC!

DC Restoration was hired by us due to a fire at our commercial complex which was caused lightening strike in July 2021. During the course of the rebuild, we faced numerous roadblocks and DC restoration worked with us and the various involved parties in order to move the project along during the 24 month period. In actuality, only 8 months out of the 24 months were associated with actual construction and renovation and the other 16 months dealing with various parties and numerous documentation. We are extremely appreciative of the support and guidance provided by Brandon Cluff, Derek Bradshaw, and their entire team on the rebuilding of the property and the professionalism and hard work provided by their team. We passed all required inspections and happy to say that the complex was officially completed and with tenants within a month of the work completion in July 2023.

When you or your insurance need to call in a Mitigation team.. definitely use DC Restoration! If you live in the White Mountains, request Mike Tedder! Mike has been quick to respond, extremely thorough, dependable & honest, and he has been respectful of our time & home. No one ever wants to be in the position of needing Mitigation, but if you do need to call in a professional, Mike is the best choice for you, your home and your health!

Damage control was helpful at cleaning up the flood damage, but working with the DC restoration contractor and his boss has been a nightmare. Communication was poor and disrespectful. They left me with a broken water heater. They had people move a heavy fish tank and not move it back. The contractor hired another company to move and store appliances. They did not supervise the appliance moving company (yellow jackets) and this company dropped the fridge on the threshold of my sliding door, removed the special Bosch tubing to my dishwasher and replaced with generic, and they drilled unneeded holes in my cabinet. After they drilled the unneeded holes, without asking, they left the sawdust all over the floor. I asked for an explanation multiple times, and they would not respond. The worst part was the disrespect that the contractor and his supervisor treated me with. I don’t know whether it was because I am a woman or because there was a rainbow flag displayed at my home, but their unkindness was truly astonishing. My recommendation is to find a different company.

Went through my insurance to get a quote on drywall, tile, and cabinets. Absolutely terrible company to work with. Had to follow up with them several times on status. Once I selected the route I wanted to go (hiring them for the cabinets but going with a different vendor for tile and drywall) they were a "All or nothing" company and didnt want to accept the job. Took 2 weeks just to figure this out and now Im back to square 1 on cabinets.

I used DC Restoration when a toilet leaked and caused damage to my wood floors through the house. They were ok very professional and already had a relationship with my insurance company. Very happy with the results and work they did on my home.

DC Restoration was great to deal with during our horrible kitchen flooding. No homeowner wants to deal with this stuff. Cody our superintendent and Diane our estimator made it a great experience. They provided all the follows ups, set expectations and when it looked like things weren’t going to be done by the timeframe, they communicated quickly. Being a Sr Supply Chain Manager in Solar O&M, I understand having to deal with contractors and subcontractors, sometimes it’s out of your hands. DC Restoration did a great job managing this project and getting our home back to normal. I would recommend this company!

Horrible experience very unprofessional. No follow up at all. The work done was done very poorly mostly covered up. They failed to submit supplemental claim to our insurance company and ordered cabinets we cancelled and tried to force us to keep them! DO NOT USE THEM WORD OF ADVICE

We had a great experience working with DC Restoration after our major garage fire. Chip, Brandon, Dave, Scott and their sub-contractors helped make rebuilding our home an easy process overall. It was 9 months of hard work but the end result is stunning! Please consider them if you ever find yourself needing a restoration team.

Would not recommend them. They were dispatched as a preferred vendor by my insurance company. There initial assessment fell short of what was actually going on (my opinion). After making changes with my insurance company, they reached out @ 7:25 a.m. after they were notified that we chose another company. First off being called that early is unacceptable. Secondly if you were notified that we went with someone else, shows lack of communication.

So initially DC restoration seemed to be pretty good. The dry out was okay, but the way they moved things around and placed them to get the stuff out of the area was not very organized and not cleared with us or communicated that it was happening. The follow through was awful and the communication was the WORST! This is not something that people typically have to deal with, and it would have been a huge peace of mind if the communication was better. I would NEVER recommend this company. Communication, Communication, Communication is all I can say! They do not have it, and it is a poorly run company! The quality of the work that was done was okay but nothing to gloat about. I can't speak on the value because insurance paid.

After my restaurant U.S Egg suffered a fire and major water damage, DC Restoration truly stepped up. They showed up when they said they would, explained everything clearly, and handled the situation with professionalism and care. During a very difficult time, they made the process much easier. I’m very grateful for their work and would highly recommend them to anyone. I would hire them again without hesitation.

I am not a client of DC Restoration. I live next door to a condo that burned in May of 2024. Since that time, I have lost TWO tires to construction nails. Their workers damaged my garage wall. I was promised by the project manager if I submitted bills of the cost of tire change and replacement I would be compensated. My HOA has submitted the bills THREE times via email. I was told by a worker he would repair my garage wall and hasn’t been repaired yet. They also like to park in front of my garage door thus blocking my access. During the initial demo they banged on my common wall so much, I had vintage glassware fly off shelves and shattered on the floor. How much more is DC Restoration going to cost me in $$, damage, and inconveniences?????

They did an excellent job on all of my cabinets. I will definitely use them again. They were done a day early, very clean and respectful.
