Needed a specific job performed on my flagstone patio & Pedro did it quickly, efficiently & priced reasonably. Will recommend Pedro to anyone that needs landscape projects done. I will not be losing his number.

FNV did a great job on completing my backyard. Patio extension, concrete boarder SOD and irrigation around the whole yard. They had some technical issues with emails but where responsive with text messages . Was completely upfront with the timeline to complete the project and daily updates on how the project was going. Gave some friendly ideas of addition work but did not push them. Quote was comparable to other companies and stayed on estimate .

Leslie and Pedro are great to work with. They're reasonably priced and provide good work. We had our polly tube drip lines replaced. Contracting work is always busy and scheduling communication was great. Thanks again for help!

Andrew and his team did an excellent job on our front landscape project. Andrew is so knowledgeable about plants and trees, and he has a great eye for design and space planning. He got our project done in 2 days, and has followed up with me to make sure the plants are doing well. I am very pleased with our end result!

Meise Design Group recently completed a front and backyard redesign and transformation for us. We used Yelp to contact a few companies to come out and give us quotes, and while it was difficult to get in touch with Meise at first (because they are really busy), we are really glad that they are the company we ended up selecting.

We had a vague idea of what we wanted to do with our backyard, and Andrew drew up plans and then the company executed it perfectly.

They did new hardscape (pavers, which we have since received positive comments on from other contractors, remarking on the precision of the job), new grass curbing, new sod, planted over 40 new shrubs and trees, new granite, redid our irrigation, and installed a new pool fence. They could have also done our pool, but we ended up going with a different company for that because it was slightly cheaper.

They helped us save money when they could. One great example of this is that they offered to salvage my potted plants and plant them in the front yard, rather than buy new plants. They also then removed all of the excess soil from my pots. They reused old river rock and pavers in the backyard to create a decorative wash and path in the front yard.

Meise was great to work with, and we would recommend them to anyone.

New home construction and pool installation had me well versed in navigating sloppy contractor/ sub contractor challenges idiosyncratic to Arizona it would seem. So I was delightfully surprised when the Meise brothers brought their NJ craftmanship, real concern for our project, and attention to detail to my landscaping which included hardscape, rock-scape, artificial turf, irrigation and plant/tree installation. They came when they said they would, worked in horrific heat, and finished when they said they would. A profoundly professional outfit and a delight to have around.

I was most concerned and very particular about the 24 inch box Fan Tex Ash trees to be installed in our front yard, but Andrew assured me they would take care of the selection to my liking and they exceeded my expectations. Eddie made the perfect placements of the trees to accentuate curb appeal, enhanced the curbing around the synthetic turf which is a show stopper, he made a wise upgrade on plant sizes at the nursery, he even did a small repair a our pool fencing fitting that was quick for him but significant in illustrating the ownership MDG takes in their work. We spoke of ideas for a sculptural garden idea I want to pursue for our entry and steel craftsman I might hire to add the artistic edge I am seeking. Eddie is so much fun.

MDG also brought on our project Michael, a schooled landscape architect himself, who made cuts in the pavers for our extension and walkways arranging colors like a artful mosaic adding an additional dimension to our trash container area because he foresaw a functional need and cared enough to put it in place. I really admired his work ethic and easy going nature.

I still can visualize Ryan meticulously tapping nails into the front and backyard turf, inspecting each inch he applied like Pinocchio's Maestro Geppetto in his workshop. He understood the science of artificial turf in AZ and explained in detail the extra measures MDG takes to ensure our investment. He was the onsite PM and responsible for the collective harmony and timing of each phase of the symphony that is my "yard". If questions arose, his communication with Andrew was immediate. Indeed all the brothers read emails to stay on top of the overall syncronicity of the project.

And last but certainly not least is Andrew, who created the design with later modifications for cost savings to balance new needs. I was so focused on all the hardscape that I could not wrap my arms around the plant design so Andrew took the lead and made his recommendations with an option or two. That was it for me. I am an artist and his floral color sense creates a vibration like an Impressionist painting. His sculptural sense of plant texture and height, rock-scape selection, coupled with his academic knowledge and experience, well, all I can say it, when you hire him to design your landscape, LEAVE HIM ALONE. Accustomed to having to micro manage our previous contractor work to catch daily mistakes, it took me some time to figure this out. When I let go, and I left MDG apply their expertise the results were amazing. I will be different next time.

Follow up has been great as well. MDG does not finish the work and leave you hanging. I know these guys book up quickly and as I will need them again, I sort of am at cross purposes writing this great review, but you just can't go wrong with them and I will just book in advance. Totally worth the wait, if you have one at all. I give them a 11 out of 10. Bottom line is my neighbor, who is a commercial landscape architect complimented me on MDG's work. I heartily agree.

MDG did work for us at our second home in Arizona. We trusted the company to deliver a quality product and service-- and that they did! We are thrilled with the design and install of our new backyard. They did a fantastic job from the beginning design phase through the final installation. They were attentive to our suggestions and came up with a beautiful design we could not have imagined on our own. These fine brothers are smart, creative, reliable, hardworking, and enjoyable! The whole process was a delight.

Working with Andrew, Eddie and Ryan was a good experience from the design through the installation. The brothers provided a good experience over the couple of weeks the job took, and the follow up has been excellent. Over the time of the installation, they took the time to establish a friendly relationship with us and showed an on going concern for our project. This was not a "do and drop" job to them. Communication has continued. They are welcome to bring others by to talk anytime. We have been enjoying the comments of our neighbors, who have expressed their admiration and envy at the work which was done. Partly because clean up was done at the end of each day, leaving the area in order as the work progressed. Neighbors weren't blocked or hindered by the materials which had to be delivered. We've especially enjoyed the front patio/porch area. With the weather change our North facing area is a nice place to sit with a cup of coffee and watch the planes land at Falcon Field and enjoy the new front yard.

MDG is a fantastic company to work with! After reviewing a handful of companies for the landscape design for our new home, we settled on MDG. The moment I talked with Andrew, I instantly knew that they were going to be the company we were going to work with. He is responsive, polite, personable and very knowledgeable. At the initial consult, I didn’t feel rushed or pressured into working with them. Andrew took his time to listen to my vision and brought it to life. I provided a short list of types of plants we like, and he was able to incorporate them in a cohesive and beautiful way. He is very knowledgeable about the materials and plants. He’ll provide great ideas and guidance on what will look good and what will thrive depending on where they plant it. He’s got a great design eye! What I also liked was their ability to provide a rendering, so you can have a visual of what your landscaping will end up looking like. In my opinion, this is a big value and not all landscaping companies have invested the resources to have and use this type of software tool.
Regarding the install, it went off very smoothly. Andrew and Eddie were both there the first day and on time. They went above and beyond the things a landscaping company would do like chipping up overpoured concrete on the side of the house and rehanging the back gate. Extra labor they took upon themselves to make sure that the install was done appropriately and that the design was not compromised. They really have a passion for their work, business and customers. Andrew, Eddie and their whole team are craftsmen. Eddie was there everyday working hard and overseeing the whole project. And Eddie is really quite fun to be around! He’s got an upbeat and personable way about him! The whole team worked hard and were there on time every morning. I really must praise them for their work ethic because it’s summer right now and it is HOT…like 116 degrees HOT! They worked tirelessly through the heat and were always cheery and polite. When I look at my beautiful front and back yard, I appreciate it even more because I saw first-hand what it took to get it from a dirt lot to the perfectly manicured masterpiece that it is thanks to everyone at MDG. Now that the project is finished, I’m almost a little sad I don’t see them anymore. It was a real joy to work with them!
If you are looking for a landscape design company to work with, I would highly recommend MDG. This is a family business where you will interface directly with the owners. They are honest, hard-working, detail-oriented, knowledgeable and passionate. They really do care about their customers and their work. They make you feel like they appreciate your business and go out of their way to make sure that the job is done right. What more could you ask for?!

Let me start by saying that Andrew, Eddie & Ryan are the most amazing guys ever. They are all so very professional and knowledgeable in every aspect. I am new to the AZ area and did not know much about desert landscaping but they took the time to educate me and help pick out new plants for my front and backyard that are absolutely beautiful. Meise Design Group is the best! They truly care about delivering the best design, materials, workmanship, and employees. My project went well, and Andrew communicated updates regularly and quickly. They do not outsource jobs and had a wait list for projects. It was worth the wait! I will be using them again.

Let me start by saying that I am like most people that write reviewa when a company fails to meet my expectations. Meise Design Group was not one of those companies. These guys were amazing in every aspect. They just finished my yard on Saturday and I couldn't be happier. Andrew took the time to bounce around with my schedule to meet with me to give me a great estimate. He was quick with responses and even got me the proposal back to me 3 days sooner than he had estimated. Andrew took the time to truely understand what my plans were for the backyard so that he knew exactly what him and his brothers were going to do. Edward even made the decision to have to work an extra day on my yard because the sod that was being installed wasn't up to MDG standards and made sure to get better quality grass. These brothers are very humble and respectful to you and your property while they are on it and it just shows in the work that they do. Both Ryan and Edward took the time to teach me things about the pavers, sod, and irrigation system that they were putting in. It meant so much to me to be educated about what was going in my back yard. MDG far exceeded my expectations for what my used to be bare back yard was, to now my "get away". It is nice to know that in the future I won't need to call 50 different companies or search for someone to do any of my landscaping needs, MDG has created a life-long customer. MDG did an incredible job landscaping our home. They listened to our vision for the landscape project and turned our vision into a perfect design. They had great recommendations for the design and ways to save cost. They were very responsive and worked hard to customize the perfect plan for our home. MDG was even more impressive when it came to the actual work on site. They started the project on time. They worked long hours and had the entire project that included landscaping front and back yards, pavers, a water feature, firepit and an outdoor kitchen completed in 10 days. It was very impressive considering the attention to detail and high-quality work that they did. Eddie and the onsite crew were friendly, professional and efficient. We have recommended them to our neighbors and friends and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to complete a landscape project.

Not only did Meise Design Group do a stellar job on the actual landscaping of our new home but they spent the time required to make sure our vision came to life. We love spending time in our Zen utopia specifically designed for us. This in demand team is well worth the wait not to mention they are always on time and the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Meise Design Group is THE BEST company we have ever dealt with, period. They met with us multiple times to go over the plans for our yard, and they were able to reduce the vision to a CAD drawing (just like you see on the HGTV shows!) This really helped us tangibly see the outcome before work even began.

Fast forward eight months to April, 2017. Just before work was slated to begin on our backyard, we consulted with MDG again to review plant choices, etc. At that time, we also asked about making some minor improvements to the front yard as well. They were able to accommodate the last-minute adjustment to their schedule without hesitation.

During the entire process, MDG was nothing less than professional, and communication was stellar. Even after the project was completed, they stopped by numerous times to ensure that the drip system was doing well and that the plants were getting adequate water. They really understand that this is an investment and they treated our project as if we were family. We couldn’t be happier with the results – well worth the wait!

We hired Meise Design Group to handle the design and installation of a new landscape to compliment our new pool. From our first meetings with Ryan, Andrew and Eddie, we had a great business relationship throughout the project. The most important elements that mattered most to us were communication, quality and timeliness - Meise delivered on all accounts. We plan to hire them back to handle our next phase of work.

You will not go wrong hiring the Meise Design team. Andrew is a talented, creative designer who took my minimal ideas and transformed them into a breathtakingly beautiful front yard. He is extremely knowledgeable about desert landscaping and chose trees, plants and cacti that will provide us with color most of the year. They also hand picked gorgeous colored boulders that aren't usually seen in front yards and might be my favorite part. Andrew, Eddie, Ryan and team were friendly and very pleasant to work with. They are hard working, perfectionistic, and their enthusiasm showed how much they love what they are doing. They were patient with my questions and always had time to communicate with me. Every day the yard was left spotless. I do not have enough good things to say about these guys. The finished project is stunning and they did it in 3 1/2 days!

The Meise Design Group transformed our boring dirt yard into beautiful and functional living spaces. We enjoyed working with them through the design process and the installation. Their follow-up support has been excellent. I highly recommend these guys.

We started out with only a few rough ideas, and Andrew Meise took it from there. He made a series of scaled drawings, revising them several times as we worked together to fine tune a plan that would meet our dreams and our budget. It turned out even better than we had hoped. We are thrilled with the creative design that, per our aesthetic, draws out the beauty of the Sonoran Desert and uses water-efficient, low-maintenance native plants and materials.

The final design involved construction, plumbing, and natural gas installation, in addition to earth moving and truck after truck of landscaping materials. We signed one contract and MDG made all the arrangements for subcontractors and permits.

They are super responsive, answering emails with thoughtful replies and taking time to discuss options over the phone or in person. Everyone on the crew is friendly and hard-working. They encouraged us to be on-site during the installation to give input and to be sure we were satisfied. In addition to keeping us happy, the MGD crew impressed our neighbors by their friendly interactions and their efforts to minimize the impact that the in-progress construction had on our neighborhood (e.g., careful cleaning of the street and sidewalk).

From beginning to end, working with the Meise Design Group has been a fantastic experience.
