My wife and I contacted Magic Touch to fix our fire pit. Unfortunately, the project was much more involved than originally expected, but Magic Touch fixed the issues at a fair price. Our technician, Max, was a stellar representative of the company. He was honest, professional, knowledgeable , and a VERY hard worker. We highly recommend!

My outdoor fireplace needed repair after 7 years. Dave came out assessed the situation and gave me a few options for repair and cost. Explained it all very well, so I understood what he was telling me about the needed repair, why and the cost and expected end results. When he returned he efficiently and thoroughly cleaned and repaired my fireplace explained what he did, which for an older lady it was nice to be treated respectfully. This company was referred to me by a friend that used them for repair and they were very happy. I was satisfied with the job Dave did and would definitely recommend them should you need service.

Excellent communication and fair pricing. I had Magic (Technician Sean) come out to inspect my gas fireplace before I use for the first time and make safety checks. Sean inspected it and showed how to use it properly. I am very happy with the service and peace of mind. I highly recommend and will use again.

We tried to schedule an appointment to go to the showroom. The lady on the phone requested extensive information (name, address, specifics about the project, etc). After a couple of minutes providing information, I asked why this was necessary just to go to the showroom. She was very defensive and I said I could take my business elsewhere. She hung up on me. Not the type of customer service I was expecting. I would NOT recommend this place (which is a pity because the UTube fireplace review was well done and made me want to visit). If you have to provide so much information just to get in the door to view the showroom, something is not right.

UPDATE: Rich, the owner, called me the same day. He had listened to the phone interaction and wanted to reach out to let me know that is not how they conduct customer service. He said all of the right things and explained the business model. It made a lot of sense and I will likely schedule an appointment next week. I will update this post again after my visit. I am changing the star rating from 1 to 3 based on Rich's timely call. This rating may change again after my visit.

Needed an asap repair on my firepit in order to sell the house. They were great at getting my job scheduled quickly but the tech was so slow and inexperienced that I don't have much faith in what was done. He was constantly on his phone to his boss and walked back and forth to his truck at least 15 times (across my rocks, couldn't even use the sidewalk). He repaired the key valve then at the end couldn't get the key back out of it. It's stuck. Still charged me $900+.

The technician talked way too much after diagnosis. Simple issue of dust in the unit. He went on and on until I finally asked if he could blow the dust out. He went to the truck and got the blower and the issue was resolved immediately. He could have been gone in 20 minutes but he went on and on for over an hour.

1-Star | WARNING: Brand-New Bosch System, Endless Issues – Avoid Magic Touch Mechanical

In April 2022, the previous homeowner had a brand-new Bosch AC unit installed by Magic Touch Mechanical for $16,000—and less than 3 years later, it’s been nothing but problems.

Prior to the home being sold to me, in October of 2024 the home inspection flagged original installation issues of a unit installed 2.5 years prior, and the previous homeowner was charged $575 by Magic Touch Mechanical to FIX their own installation mistakes just to get the system approved for sale. This is not what a “lifetime workmanship guarantee” looks like. The previous homeowner and I have since been in contact, sharing invoices and notes, and we both believe we’ve been ripped off by Magic Touch Mechanical.

Just 6 months later, in April 2025 when I first turned on my AC for the Summer, to my surprise it wasn’t cooling the house. I trustingly had Magic Touch out again to do a diagnostic. I paid $808 to replace the blower motor of a 2.5 year old new AC unit, which was supposedly under warranty, and was told the system would work like new (after many different professionals confirming this should not cost $808 and should be 1/3 the price for just the service because the parts to replace were still under warranty I was totally over charged). It never cooled properly, and this month in MAY(a month later), I had to call AGAIN because the inside of my home was 87°F in the Arizona summer. Instead of standing by their work, they wanted to charge me another $189 diagnostic fee just to look at a system they had just “fixed.”

Then came the worst part—they quoted me $2,200 to fix a refrigerant leak in the suction line, which a second HVAC company believes was due to poor installation and incorrect brazing. When I asked to speak to a manager about all this, I was told I couldn’t until I paid the diagnostic fee.

The previous homeowner even paid $575 trying to fix Magic Touch’s installation mistakes. Now, between the two of us, we’ve spent over $1,383 trying to fix issues that never should’ve happened with a new unit with a glooming $2,200 charge less than a month later?

Do NOT use this company. Their “lifetime workmanship guarantee” is a joke. They don’t stand by their work, they deflect blame, and they nickel-and-dime you for their own errors. Two homeowners have been left paying for their incompetence. You’ve been warned.

I was scammed. The tech showed up to repair my gas fire pit and never took anything apart or looked into a single thing but charged me $139. The charge was supposed to be for a diagnosis which he never did and no diagnosis was determined. He walked around the yard and took pics of the outside of the firepit without removing a single thing and went to his truck to what he said was “ make some calls”. He came back 15-20 minutes later then quoted me a $1207.50 price to fix what he had no idea was wrong with my fire pit. -Again, he took nothing apart or looked into ANYTHING! Later, I had another company come to my home that diagnosed the problem and repaired the burner for $225. The pic below shows the firepit before and after he left. Nothing was touched! Do NOT hire these guys!!

In addition I had stated he helped remove the rock but when he was in his truck worried about pricing I removed the majority. He was not there for an hour diagnosing for he was in his truck for 20 minutes and what was the diagnosis? All I received was a quote for $1207.5 with no explanation as to what it was for. How do you quote a price with no actual diagnosis? Look at the pics you can see it was never touched outside of removing the rock. In order to properly diagnose something you actually have to get underneath that board and look. I’m writing this to warn others and I actually never paid for any work outside of the $139 which they can keep because I don’t need the money and it’s worth it to let others know. I’m just a normal guy and have no financial problems with everything I own paid off so again I don’t need the money. This is a complete spin of the truth from the President commenting to save his business. I NEVER file complaints but this couldn’t go without because I’m warning others of this scam.
