$95 for nothing! Did not come during the scheduled appointment, the Technician could not communicate in English, spent less than 10min looking only at the inside unit (didn’t even bother to check the outside unit), and then quoted me a full replacement. What a joke of a company, at least with other companies if all they are going to do is give you an estimate it’s free. Manny’s Air is in the business of collecting $95 and doing nothing. I called the office to complain and after being hung up on several times their response was they did their job.

This is the worst company to get your A/C unit. They never fix things right they have been to my house for the same problem 8 time over the last 2 years for the same problem they always charge you for the service call never really fix the problem. One guy came one time and said there was nothing wrong with it and he was gone in 10 min.
For any future people that want to get any work or buy a a/c unit from this people
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE THE WORST!! Please go with a different company! -
In the span of 5 mins I saw the driver of the Cybertruck with the Manny’s Air Wrap run a red light, cut off multiple other drivers, and recklessly speed down Country Club Dr.

Horrible experience. An appointment was scheduled with Manny's air on Wednesday due to a loud noise coming from our air conditioner. Unfortunately, our A/C ended up breaking, so we called Manny's air back and they said they would come if they had any cancellations. They came Friday, 7/29, and they were also late. We spoke with the assistant on the phone (Wednesday) and we let them know that it was the fan in the air conditioner that had broke off. When the employee got here today, he asked us what the problem was. We explained to him that it was the fan within the unit, and how the fan came apart. He did not open the A/C unit or take a deeper look at the A/C unit. He glanced at it and said "Oh yeah, it's the fan." They did not come with any parts to make the repair and they still charged us for a service call when no maintenance, repair, or even an observation was even performed. We had to stay at a hotel with our pets due to no air conditioning. They said they would not be able to get the part and come out here to fix it until Monday. We called another company and they came within a couple of hours with the new fan and repaired our A/C unit. We have been loyal customers of Manny's for over 12 years but will not continue to use them.

I have being doing busines with Manny's Air for a long time and thought I would get the same service this time around my AC unit went out. First they charged me $95 for nothing, they call it a service charge but the employee didn't do much and said I need a new unit without giving me any other options. I called first thing the next day to see what options where available for me and I was told Manny would call me but I never received a call. I called back again and left a message and no one has called me back as of yet. I have contacted another provider and they where able to help me with my current unit and fill it with the correct coolant. It's unfortunate they didn't care for my business after I have given them business for my homes and people I had recommended. I will no longer use or recomend their services. I hope they do what is correct and refund me my $95.

My AC stopped working in June when outside temps were over 100 degrees. Having two small kids at home I was naturally very concerned about not having AC. I called Manny's (who I bought the unit from years prior) to see what the problem was. The tech arrived and told me that it was a bad capacitor and that it would cost $675 to fix. "Luckily" he had a capacitor in his truck and was able to fix the problem in about 10 minutes. I told him that $675 seemed expensive for a capacitor, so he said he would clean the unit off while he was there.
I later learned that the capacitor that he installed costs $14, and is a simple fix. I also learned that these AC techs are paid commission and are incentivized to charge as much as they can get away with.
I am OK paying for parts and labor, but this is a classic example of price gouging at its worst. Taking advantage of customers when we are just trying to keep our families safe is despicable, and I would never recommend Manny's Air to anyone.
My lesson form this experience: DO NOT TRUST THE TECHS AT MANNYS AIR! -
BUYER BEWARE!
Manny's Air provides TERRIBLE installation and customer service.
REPLYING TO MANNY'S RESPONSE BELOW: I want to clarify that my review is NOT about maintenance or timing issues. The concern stems from an improper installation that has not been addressed despite my FOUR calls to your team. It’s disappointing that no one took the time to come and inspect the installation or discuss our concerns without us needing to pay for a visit. This lack of follow-up and support is what I consider poor customer service.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I want to share my beyond-disappointing experience with Manny's Air. We bought our home in early 2020, and a 4 Ton 16 Seer Split Heat Pump had been installed by Manny's Air less than a year before for the previous owner. Earlier this year, we noticed water leaking from the top pipe outside and had a maintenance company inspect it. We were shocked to discover the unit was installed incorrectly.
Here’s a list of SOME of the issues we found:
• The unit was tilted away from the primary drain, causing water to drip into the secondary drain pan, which is now rusting.
• No return plenum was installed, even though the manufacturer recommended it. The return ductwork is connected directly to the case coil, creating a 90-degree kink that restricts airflow.
• The inner air conduit is partially exposed, with the return collar plate appearing undersized, reused, and patched with mastic tape and duct sealant.
• The electrical entry wasn’t secured with a non-metallic cable connector, leaving it out of code.
• Over an inch of water sits in the primary drain pan, with half an inch at the front. The blower cabinet insulation is soaked, and rust is already spreading on the coil, case coil cabinet, blower housing, and electrical section.
• An incorrect trap was used instead of the manufacturer-recommended P-trap with a 2" minimum drop.
To be sure, we had two more companies inspect the unit independently without sharing the findings of the others. BOTH confirmed the installation was incorrect. We have paperwork, photos, and videos documenting all of this.
Manny’s Air’s response? ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. Despite multiple attempts to contact them, they repeatedly brushed us off and demanded a $95 service fee just to come out, even though it was their poor installation at fault. When I asked to speak to the owner, I was told "maybe" Manny would call back, but he was always "too busy." Finally, they claimed they had no responsibility since we didn’t install the unit; the previous owners did.
This company DOES NOT stand behind its work and refuses to acknowledge its mistakes. This is very disappointing for a family-run business!
Keep this in mind before considering Manny’s Air.
