This was my first time working with Jamal and had a great experience with getting pavers installed at my house. Very communicative throughout the process from start to finish. The finished product is exactly what I wanted. Would definitely recommend and use again on my next project!

We recently had turf installed in our backyard, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! The team communicated clearly throughout the entire process — from the estimate to the final walkthrough — and delivered exactly what they promised. They showed up, worked efficiently, and cleaned up thoroughly when the job was done. The turf looks amazing — lush, even, and professional. I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to upgrade their outdoor space. They also put pavers under the shed to level it out and it is much better.

Jamal came out to my residence back in SEP ‘25. We had come up with the design since then, but since we are new to AZ we wanted to do our due diligence before committing to a specific company. What set Better Life Landscape was the communication. If we had questions, concerns, etc, Jamal was very professional and addressed all of said concerns/questions. So, we decided to go with Jamal in DEC ‘25. The plan was executed in two phases: the Pergola, and then the rest. It’s amazing the amount of work they did to our backyard in such a short period of time, but they definitely delivered on the vision we had. We are very pleased with Jamal, his crew, and Better Life Landscape as a whole. We will definitely reach out to Jamal for our next project, front yard. Highly, highly, recommend these guys. Thanks Jamal and Team for bringing our vision into a reality, and now we can actually enjoy our home, inside and out.

Jamal, Armando, and everyone involved in the process of designing and redoing our backyard was extremely professional, communicative, and pleasant to work with. The quality of work and attention to detail during every step of the process was very impressive - From making sure the paver design stayed consistent when I decided I wanted an extra foot of space, to using scissors to trim the edges of the turf.

The one minor complaint I have is, during the cleanup, Ivan carelessly blew debris - sand, turf trimming, etc - directly into my pool the day after he watched me spend hours cleaning the filters from the haboob… That’s the one thing I did not love about the process - hopefully future customers don’t experience the same “clean up”.

One of the best companies to work with! Jamal and his team was very professional and respectful from start to finish. My project involved needing pavers installed from part of my front yard to the back yard to create more space in additional to my porch. The team came and got to work so fast it seemed like they weren't even there. The finished product looks great it looks like the installation came with the house when it was built! Jamal runs an outstanding, top-tier business. He transformed our dirt patch into a beautiful backyard from start to finish. From helping with the overall design and guiding us through HOA requirements to delivering a cohesive hardscape and landscape across our backyard, side yard, and front yard, Jamal and his team exceeded expectations. We worked with Jamal King with Better Life Landscape and Design. We only installed turf at the time to start preparing for baby #2. We are so happy with the work done it only took them a day and Jamal was always so accommodating. Will definitely recommend to others or for future projects.

This is our 4th time working with Jamal. We just had a baby last October and we wanted an area he could roam outside. So we got back in touch with Jamal to work his magic and we couldn’t be anymore thrilled. Our son is happy conquering his new playground.

After rescuing two dogs a year after the pandemic, our yard was a mess — full of foxholes worthy of an 18-year-old in basic training. We waited to start landscaping until our pool renovation was done, and the difference between the two companies was night and day.

While we love how our pool turned out, the process was full of delays. Jamal and the Better Life team were the opposite — professional, communicative, and on-schedule. They emailed updates, showed up like clockwork between 8–9 AM, and turned our mess into a dream backyard.

We only did half the yard this time, but we’ll definitely call Better Life when it’s time for Phase 2. Highly recommend!

Great service & done in a timely manner. Better Life Landscaping and Design was a great experience for me. Jamal was very professional and provided what was needed within my budget. This project was done in February of 2023 and still to this day,(almost 3 years later) Jamal still answer my calls and questions. This is a fair and honest business that comes highly recommended.

I try to do most of my own yard work, and so it suffers a bit because of that. However, when I have an issue that is too tricky to take care of myself (long water line runs, out of control weeds, etc...), I reach out to Lyle. He's always quick to respond and come out to take care of the issue. He quotes me reasonable prices even though I don't subscribe to monthly or weekly services.

Good and very responsible service

They are like most of the landscapers around here. If you need a small job done, they won’t return your call. Too bad because we met a couple of the workers and they were extremely nice !
