Rowan Solar Cleaning

A little pricey. Job was done quickly and professionally. My panels look like new and my pigeons are homeless. All good.

We had Rowan clean our solar panels and they found many Pigeon nests underneath, so I had them back to clean out all the nests and eggs and put in critter guard. I paid them an extra $500 dollars to bag up all the nests eggs and dead birds so my husband and I did not have to do this, which of course we could not get upon the roof but after they were finished, I was told they had removed nearly everything and bagged up 8 bags of stuff I did see pictures of the critter guard put up and it looks good. As I viewed the pictures it certainly did seem that they had done a fine job but the very next morning my husband went out to set the garbage cans out and there was a huge pile of pigeon droppings lodged behind the garbage cans as well as a great deal of it lodged along and behind the air conditioners as well as being down inside the units. This is exactually what we were paying the extra money for them not to do or have happen. my husband is 77 years old and neither he nor I can be out digging and shoveling pigeon crap up so we felt the 500 dollars extra would be worth it but that has turned out to be a waste of money since we were still left with a mess. We shoveled pigeon dropping up by the shovel full which was not fun and still have not be able to get it all from behind our air conditioners so for the extra money we were charged it was not worth it but very disappointing, If I had it to do over again, I would not hire them again. Trent is the one we dealt with, and he promised me I would not be having this very issue, or would I find any pigeon dropping around my house or especially inside my air conditioners, since this stuff is very corrosives. There was so much of it left behind the mostly empty garbage cans what my husband had to shovel up filled the empty can half full and there is still more of it left behind especially in our air conditioners. They did say their vacuum hose was not long enough to reach one of the solar panels, which apparently had a lot of pigeon nests and dropping around and under it instead of cleaning and bagging it up It appears they decided to push it off the roof but did not clean up after themselves the droppings which of course we paid them to do. Promises made but not kept. Now, we both feel we did not get our $500 dollars' worth of cleanup paid for as agreed upon with Rowan's represented Trent of whom I have called and texted and ask him to call me, but he has chosen not to I was hoping he could get this cleaned up and clean my air conditioners but since they already cashed my check, I'd say its over. So much for believing what was said about no mess being left. This is not a good way to build trust or a business, people need to trust your word and that as a business you will do what you promise and have charged people for. There are good companies and bad this one is somewhere in the middle, but my husband said he never wants them back on our property again. I can't blame him, since he's now doing the job we paid them to do.

As senior citizens we were taken advantage of over the amount paid for cleanup which we did not get. It makes me feel dumb. My fault for being trusting it used to be that a person's word was gold but not so much anymore . Thank goodness it was not the whole amount paid but certainly $500 dollars was bad enough. I am happy the critter guard is up at least they seem to have done a good job with that.
