Honor Contracting replaced the tile throughout our entire house. It was a large project and they did a phenomenal job. But even more than the job, the communication was above and beyond. We recently replaced 400sqft of tile with LVP. We had over 10 quotes and Honor was one of the best. I loved that in the quote they budgeted for carpet protection and zip doors to go over the entrances to prevent the spread of dust. They were the only contractor to do this.

The team at Honor made the process easy and were up front about everything. When issues did come up, they worked with us on pricing and to find solutions that worked long term, and not just a bandaid fix.

Communication was very important to them, so much so that they put a whole team on a group chat. This was fantastic because I could get answers to my questions quickly and everyone was on the same page. No he said she said. All of the tradesmen they work with were friendly and nice as well. They were prompt, hard workers who kept the job site clean.

We are so happy with them and they will be our first call for doing other projects in our house.

Our family has lived in the same home in Peoria for twelve years and we have been eager to update our kitchen for several years. When the time came to renovate, we interviewed 4 contractors to quote our project and Honor Contracting was our top choice from the start. Their proposal was organized, detailed, and reasonable for the amount of work we had planned. We could tell that they understood our vision for what we wanted and had the ability to collaborate with us and bring it to life. What started as a kitchen remodel flowed into all the main areas of our home and two bathrooms and the team at Honor had no problem adjusting and moving forward with all my requests. I was blown away with the ambitious work schedule and how everyone showed up and did the work and stayed on schedule. That in itself is praise worthy! As any issues arose (they always do in the building business) they were dealt with immediately, professionally and with such grace. I have experience in the design industry and have a very discerning eye and the Honor team delivered what I imagined our home to be. It is absolutely beautiful. Everyone at Honor is such a joy to work with. When it's time to update our master bath, we will be hiring Honor Contracting to collaborate with us once again. I would 100% recommend them.

I recently acquired a $1.5MM home from Honor Contracting and we may have been sold a lemon of a house with foundation issues & the flooring has come up and is popping all over the house after ONE MONTH of ownership. Photos attached. I have inquired and they have placed blame on the floor manufacturer as their floor installer were ‘not advised properly’ as to how it was to be installed. We have come to find that this is untrue. Very unfortunate but Honor Contracting is not as honorable as they appear. I have had various bad experiences with other contractors over the years, so I am thrilled to have found Honor Contracting! They just completed a rather extensive fix-up project on a rental property, and they did a fantastic job. I purposely stepped back and let them execute the entire project on their own, to see how it would go. Honestly, it was kind of a test before having them do an even larger job for me on another property. I never went over there, or called them, or did any micro-managing whatsoever. Many contractors would fail if they weren't being constantly nagged and inspected, but Honor succeeded spectacularly. They did the entire project very quickly. I got text updates at the end of each work day. When they were all done, I went over there for the first time, and I was very impressed. Everything looked fantastic, there were no issues, and they exceeded my expectations for speed and quality. I was actually pretty blown away that I left them completely alone and they did such a great job. I've never had that with any other contractor. I'm 100% happy. They will be working on two more properties for me this year.

Honor Contracting scheduled a visit to look at what I needed done, quickly gave an estimate and stayed in contact daily with updates about the job. Our BBQ looks great!!! Exceptional customer service!!!

We hired Honor Contracting after a water leak damaged a significant portion of our downstairs bathroom and kitchen area. Based on several factors we were able to complete the downstairs repairs and decided to update our master bathroom shower. We worked with Honor Contracting and specifically Jeremy to get everything ordered, designed and budgeted. Jeremy was very helpful, responsive, professional and knowledgeable. If you’re going to do any projects, please ask for him.

The final projects came out great. Everything looks new and updated, and the updated shower is 1000 times better than the original builder grade scenario. Unfortunately, I had to give 4 stars because of the amount of times Honor Contracting’s sub contractors had to come back and fix, replace, or redo several parts of the job. The first time was partially a miscommunication between Honor Contracting and their sub contractors. The three other return trips however were due to poor craftsmanship and a lack of pride in the overall work. This is not a knock on Honor Contracting themselves necessarily, as they were very apologetic, and responsive to our complaints and rectified the issues every time within a timely manner. But the sub contractors I feel were less than up to the quality of what Honor Contracting usually portrays.

The only saving grace was that we were out of town every time they had to come and fix something, because having a 9 month old baby who needs naps can be quite disruptive with construction workers constantly coming back to fix mistakes.

There is a one year warranty on the work completed, so that’s a plus, but unfortunately we had to call them back several times within the first few months as mentioned above.

Overall, I would recommend Honor Contracting and I will consider using them again for additional projects. They are professional, take ownership if a mistake is made and more importantly respond with rectifications as soon as possible. They have a great reputation and it shows in their customer service. The last time they were out they apologized and gave us a restaurant gift card which was totally unnecessary but very much appreciated.

After our 1st floor flooded from a broken pipe we were struggling with insurance getting our house repaired in a timely manner. We found Honor contracting who gave us an estimate and pointed out items the adjuster missed. They worked with us to enaure repairs aligned with insurance furniture repair contractors keeping the project moving. They kept us up to date on repairs through each phase and responded quickly to questions we had. Repairs to drywall, all flooring, trim and paint were outstanding. Thanks Honor!

We hired Honor Contracting to build us an entertainment unit for our living room. From the initial consultation, throughout the building process, and until completion we were so impressed by the Honor team. They communicated to us daily in a group text the schedule and updates on our project, which was so helpful. Most of the work was completed by Thomas who was so kind and a very talented wood worker. The owners of Honor came by several times throughout the project to check in and make sure it was all coming together correctly. The level of customer service, attention to detail, and skill in their work was all top notch.
