Protege was able to show up in no time and fix a green pool, while sending update pictures and keeping us in the loop with the process. The house was up for sale, so it was super important to not worry if Protege was showing up. Overall would highly recommend!

Pool services are offered from Monday to Saturday and off on Sunday's. Text or email will be the best way to contact since both office & tech phones are automatically routing to the voice box. They charged me $349 for draining, acid & chloride wash and adding start-up chemicals, which is lower than the other competitors. Their technician did a great job on cleaning, while the customer service staff forgot to add my address to their GPS route. Thus, a whole day got wasted and I had to add some chloride by myself to maintain sufficient sanitary level. Given the relatively low price, I didn't deduct stars for this...........

We have used Protégé Pools since we purchased the property almost 5 years ago. Green pool/acid wash promised to be ready by Memorial Day. Even with the oops in draining (our fault) promise held and we were swimming like fish. The company has taken care of every need and more, most recently the new, smaller filter system. Always pre-quotes when asked and delivers. Hugo & Sandra have always maintained their word and are very professional and timely.

This is the ONLY company I trust. Hugo was very honest and helped us with a free repair and now we have used him for weekly pool cleaning for months. What a great guy and company. Never any problems. 5 STARS!

I just moved to Arizona in Feb. and never had a pool. I called a few companies but after meeting with a bunch of them- I picked Protégé because the pool guy explained everything to me and fixed a few things for free just to help me out. And they were the only company that didn't try to B.S. me. I have been using them ever since and will continue too. I do recommend them to anyone in need of a great pool service.

I have called this company 4 times and sent 2 emails in the last week for the "free" estimate they so proudly advertise and heard nothing. In the meantime my pool has turned green since my motor was out. I would have thought they would have been interested in replacing my pump? I can't imagine if you had an issue with this company as they don't even respond when you are attempting to give them money. Disappointing.

I have since contacted We Fix Ugly Pools and they were out the same day and replaced my pool pump.

Gone are the days of pool guys not calling back, flaking off, or robbing you blind. Hugo and Protege are honestly the absolute FIRST pool company that we have dealt with that left a positive impression. Reliable and super honest about anything going on with your pool. All my neighbors are complaining about their pool guys and I'm like "Oh I have the BEST pool guy now!!!"....giving out lots of referrals! :) Thank you Hugo. If only you could make my pool a little cooler in August. ;)

Protege Pool is great they always have our pool looking amazing and any questions we ever asked Hugo always made sure to answer us . They are very reliable and get back to you right away . Hugo Is amazing and does great work I won’t be going to anyone else . And even his wife who I also communicate with is always helpful and wonderful great customer service all around . I do not write reviews, but I felt compelled to inform others about Protege Pool Services. While Hugo is nice enough, he was NEVER on time and did not complete services as scheduled. Communication was terrible and the excuses were many. As a customer, you shouldn't have to remind others to do the job you hired them to do.

I have the text messages to verify the repeated no-shows and cancellations. If you want pool work to *actually happen* then I highly suggest you save yourself the inevitable headache and hire someone else.

I have been very pleased with the service that has been provided thus far. I expect quality work and quick honest communication from the companies I work with...I consistently receive these from Protege pools. I am a new customer, but they treat me like we have been good friends for years. Many companies can learn from the customer service practices at Protege pool services.

Pool Service by protege Pool recently and it was the best experience. Not only was the crew very knowledgeable and kind but they were able to give me helpful hints on how to maintain my pool in between cleanings. I would recommend protege pool to anyone with a pool and really anyone who needs help with the cleaning of the pool. They were on time and very courteous and well dressed and very professional I love them and I will continue using them for as long as I have a pool

Company was great during our time using them. However, we listed our house for sale and the buyers requested their own company come out and complete a repair that was needed. Protege's quote was 2x the amount that the buyer's company sent out. Upon completion of the repair, Protege stopped coming out for their regular service (we still had 6 weeks until we moved out). I paid for the month of May and never received service. I tried texting both numbers, calling both numbers, and emailing and never received a reply. I am now disputing the charge with my bank as I paid for services I never received... not sure what happened???

It took us a while to find a someone to come and service our pool, I called a few other companies, left messages, even Scheduled an appointment but no one ever showed up. Our pool was in horrible condition we had just purchased the home 3 months prior and the previous owner never took care of the equipment. They would only shock the pool so it would appear to be clean. Once we got a hold of protege they promptly returned our call and a day and a half later they came. They did a full inspection of the entire system, they showed us exactly what was wrong. Thier prices we're beyond reasonable. We have since referred a couple of of closest friends to them, because we know protege will meet all of thier pool needs. The pool went from looking like a swamp to a blue lagoon.

I paid for a months worth of service where a technician shows up 1 time per week. The technician showed up 2 times. I would message repeatedly about the technician not showing up. The company would reschedule the appointment for a different day and the technician would still not show up. I asked for a refund for half the month. I was told I would receive a refund on June 27th. It is now July 16th and still have not received a refund.
My pool was pressure washed by this company. I have kept my pool clear however after the pressure washing, the sides of the pool have become very difficult to brush. The surface has become rough and porous to where I can’t get the algae out of it even after brushing the sides for an hour everyday. My pool is clear, but algae is imbedded in the pores of the pool wall surface. I have never had this issue before. I am worried that the pressure washer removed a layer off of the surface. Every time I brush there is a white powdery substance consistently coming off.
There is also a small leak that I noticed on the new filter they installed.
I messaged Protege Pool Services repeatedly about the issues I am having. Eventually I was able to make an appointment for today at 9 am. No one showed up for the appointment. I attempted to contact the technician, but the technician hasn’t replied.
I would like a refund for the times that the technician did not show. Either that or provide the services I paid for. I would also like them to make good on setting an appointment and actually show up for it so I can discuss remedying these unresolved issues.
The picture provided is a picture of the algae in the surface of the wall after scrubbing the walls an hour a day for a week.
Hopefully leaving a review will cause the company to actually contact me and actually show up for an appointment to resolve the issues.

The service from Protege Pool is great, They are true professionals. They have been honest about the services needed to keep our pool crystal clear and ready for use year round. My family and I would highly recommend Protege to all friends and family members.

I have been using with this company now for well over a year now. They are fantastic to have. They are incredible with my son who is always interested in what Hugo does. Hugo does an incredible job cleaning the pool. Overall amazing company I would recomend to anyone looking for a pool company. Incredible with pets as well.

I will start by saying I am not a fraudulent customer and our community has been using Protege for approx. 3 years.
Since last year we have had a slew of ongoing issues related to their service that has only gotten worse. Unfortunately, we had to switch to a different service provider because of Protege's lack of professionalism and responsibility for the work they do.
We paid Protege to replace our pool line tiles which began falling off again only 7 months after they did the job. That was September 2018 and even though they said they guarantee their work, the tiles are still not repaired and are now missing entirely from our property. They said on 5+ occasions that the tiles would be fixed, but now no longer answer my emails.
Besides that, our chemical log sheet was taken by them and not returned even after requesting it back on many occasions.
Protege requires payment for their service before they are rendered and even though we paid them to come out 3x/wk, there were many occasions that they did not show up. For this, any many other reasons, I feel compelled to leave this review so that consumers are aware of how this company treats their customers. I have proof of all these claims.
