Constraction reviews in Phoenix, Arizona

I used Imperial for my owner build pool in April of 16. I sent bids out to a number of excavators. Most just sent me a quick email giving me a price. Justin was the only one who called back and asked a number of questions to make sure things were going to work right.

When his crew came out they went out of their way to make sure the dig was according to specifications. They did a perfect job.

Then when it was clean up time they did their best to clean up the mess. One guy was even nice enough to spray down the neighbor kids with the hose. The kids loved it.

Its scary doing an owner build and not knowing if you are getting quality work. With Imperial you don't have to have that fear; they are going to do it right. Use them.

I could not be more pleased with this company. The demolition of my pool was professionally handled. I was kept informed of all work and needs for change of plans. They responded quickly to questions and any minor concerns. They handled everything that was needed from the permit, electric disconnect and planning. I would definitely use this company again and highly recommend it.

Justin and team were amazing. They were patient throughout a difficult process with the city and were ready to go when it was resolved. The work was an enormous Gym pool excavation and they did the work quickly and neatly so that we could keep our business open. I can’t thank them enough for their professionalism.

All of the people at the company were a pleasure to interact with. The office staff was courteous and efficient. My main contact Warner, who leads the team, was amazing. His team Kevin, Steven, Chilo and Fermin did a great job removing a buried pool that was discovered at our newly purchased property. They hauled away extra debris, gravel, concrete, and trash that was buried on the property in addition to the pool. They graded the yard, cleaned up all mess and sprayed the back patio at the end. These men did a spectacular job. Thank you!

I am in the process of building my own pool, and had several bids provided by BYOP. After doing additional research on the excavating process I came across Imperial Excavating and I am glad I did. I was given a reasonable quote, not the lowest, but reasonable. I tried to get Imperial to come check out my job prior to making my decision, however due to how busy they were they could not. The main reason I wanted them to come out is because the company with the lowest bid came out after I spoke to Imperial, and after reviewing my job the actually doubled their bid. With all bids the quote will be based on not having a hard dig. Well in the end I did have a hard dig, but even after the hard dig the cost was still not as high as some of the other bids. I spoke to a pool contractor that I know and he told me even the increase in the hard dig cost was still 40 to 50% below what other Excavators would have charged. In the end they did an amazing job and left the job site as clean as when they came. Last but not least, they came on time everyday, responded to all of my calls and questions, and were true professionals. I am glad I went with the reviewers recommendation on this process.

The pool removal was done quickly and professionally. The crew on site was responsive to issues and went above and beyond in this job. My sincere appreciation to all involved. I also want to mention the office employee Fatima Soteno who was very helpful and relayed communications in a timely fashion. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for pool removal.

Imperial Excavating removed an old pool from my back yard. I had never needed this type of work done and they were great to deal with; responsive in the quote process, timely and professional in the demo action. Even though this was a messy 3-day job they left my yard as tidy as possible each night. I'm very pleased with hiring Imperial Excavating to do this job and happy to recommend them.

Imperial did an outstanding job removing the swimming pool at my home and refilling the excavated area with dirt for purposes of landscaping. I was particularly impressed by its clear, prompt communications, responsiveness to my questions and professionalism both prior to and during the work. The company did exactly what it said it would and Justin, who is outstanding, thoughtfully resolved any-and-all obstacles discovered along-the-way. In short, if you're reading this review to compare excavating companies, read no more, Imperial is the real-deal. I'm very happy with my decision to have the company work on my home. I very highly recommend it.

I chose Imperial after receiving bids from 3 other pool demo/excavators. I had a old pool/landscaping/decking in a very tight space to completely remove. Not only was Imperial the best price (20% less) but it is impossible that anyone else could have done a better job. Werner, and Kevin and his crew were outstanding in executing every aspect of the scope of work. And Fatima at the office made the process very smooth.
Well done Imperial!

I used Imperial Excavating for my pool project, I highly recommend this company for your excavation needs. I worked with Fatima, their Office Mgr., she was so knowledgeable, pleasant and responsive. This was my first experience building my own pool, she was more than willing to help me in any way she could. The day prior my excavation date, Justin, the owner of the company, called to ensure all of the specifics for my pool were accurate. The excavation team arrived at the exact time I was given, they were very friendly, knowledgeable and happy to answer all my questions. This is a wonderful company to work with, I cannot say enough good things about this experience.

Justin did a fantastic job and was so easy to work with. He showed up when he said he would and completed the job within the time he said it would take. His employees were courteous and went above and beyond what I expected them to do. My pool removal was in a very confined space but they managed to complete the work without damaging anything in the process. I would highly recommend Imperial Excavating.

What an excellent experience! Each time we undergo a large project at our home, there is always some level of concern that things might not go well. We couldn't have asked for a better outcome with this crew (Kevin, Steven and TJ)! They were super-friendly, they showed up on time, and they worked very hard the entire time they were at our house. The project was done completely and in a very timely manner, and our yards (front and back) were left in beautiful condition. Thank you Imperial Excavating! We will be certain to recommend your company anytime we have the opportunity!

Imperial Excavating removed our old “tired” pool and filled it in, in less time than estimated. Justin and his team did an outstanding job from start to finish and were polite answering all questions and anticipating those we had not thought of. We love the work they did including a great cleanup job!! We highly recommend this company!

Imperial did an amazing job removing our pool. Their team was very skilled, had great communication and were an overall pleasure to work with. After the job was done they did an amazing clean up job including making sure no dirt was left behind in the street. I would use Imperial Excavating again without any question, they earned my families trust!

Had Imperial Excavating remove my pool via the "pool fill-in" option, where they break up the bottom of the pool and take down the top 18-24 inches of the pool wall and then fill in. Werner and his crew did a fantastic job -- as Werner had promised, you can't tell that the pool was ever there. I was very impressed by their work -- quick, efficient, and they really knew what they were doing, and had all the right equipment to do it. Entire job was completed within 4 working days. All details of the job, including removing old pool equipment, pool timer & wires, pool deck, and breaking down upper pool walls and bottom -- then filling in with fine dirt and compacting, and then putting new landscape rock on and then rebuilding access wall with stucco and repainting -- done extremely well. Very happy with the result.

I had Imperial Excavating completely remove my pool and a substantial slab surrounding it and fill it in. They did a fantastic job. From my first phone call to my last e-mail they kept me apprised of every step and answered all my question's. I would definitely recommend Imperial Excavating.

Wonderful company to work with. Professional and quick response. Fatima did an amazing job keeping us posted and always responded quickly to our phone calls and emails.
Werner, Kevin and his team did a fantastic job with the complete pool removal. They were here exactly when they said they would be and completed the project in the time frame we were given. Friendly crew that cleaned everything up when they were done. They made it a point to put everything back in it's place, and left the yard neat and orderly. It's rare to see a company exhibit this kind of professionalism and for this reason I had to review them!!!!!

I used Imperial Excavating to remove my old pool and to dig my new pool and I am very satisfied with their work. They were very professional and extremely helpful before and during the entire process. Werner and the entire team were fantastic. They were very responsive to my requests, they showed up to do the work on time and according to the schedule. (They were actually able to finish earlier than expected.) Outstanding company and I would highly recommend them !!

We are very pleased with the job that Imperial Excavating did to remove our inground swimming pool. Josh and his team took care of all the details including the initial estimate, obtaining the city permit, draining the pool, disconnecting plumbing and electrical components, trimming some foliage and taking down a block wall to allow for back yard access, demolishing the pool and hauling away the debris, backfilling and compacting the hole with dirt, cleaning the dirt on the street after completion, and rebuilding the block wall. The demolition phase took a bit longer than anticipated because our pool had extra thick concrete, but the crew completed the task thoroughly and the final cost of the project did not exceed the original estimate. Highly recommended!!

After years of ignoring our empty pool, our new insurance company reminded us we were a danger to society and they would punish us by cancelling our insurance. It was easy to find Imperial Excavating, as they are all over position one on Google.

Watching them work on filling our pool with dirt for two days was fascinating. You could see the quality of their work at every step of the process. They left us with a great - and now safe - finished product ... and even cleaned up so well you would not even know they were here.

One last point - their communication throughout the process was excellent - from scheduling to permits to arrival to completion and billing - could not ask for a better experience. Thank you!

WOW!!!! what a Great job Kevin and his crew Did, Could not ask for any better these Gentlemen knew what they were doing and were Very Polite and answered every one of our questions. I would surely use them again should we ever need Excavating. Again Thank you SO MUCH Kevin you were AWESOME..
