Im from Oklahoma and I saw this place years ago. I always say how beautiful it looks from the street but I kill everything I touch. Then I decided to try and save a succulent from a dollar store3 months ago.I fell in love and it's not dead. I'm obsessed now. I found 4 of my bucket list succulents here in the 2" & 4" pots. so they were a very decent price and healthy looking. I'm still new but I love the vibrant color succulents and echeverias. I'm very happy with my first visit and there were so many more I'd like to have as well. FYI this place is even more beautiful inside.

We met with a knowledgeable salesman that helped us pick the right tree for the space we wanted and was very helpful

Lots and Lots of healthy trees and plants. Is a nice place to just walk around and browse too with all the birds. I didn't find what I needed today in the fruit trees, but I did get some cute house plants. ☺

Looks like a pretty nice place, I really only bought pumpkins and various Garden Seeds here over the years. It's very extensive it is much bigger than it looks. Sometimes you get staff members were very helpful and know what they're doing and sometimes you don't. Seems pretty normal

Absolutely gigantic - selection is excellent and the staff is super helpful too! Fun to see the peacocks and other birdies while shopping for plants.

Thought was cute until I saw the parrot picking at its feathers. Reported it to arizona humane society, hope something gets done because that’s disappointing.

Why do they have birds? If they cannot take care of them? I have parrots and I can say that these poor birds are very stressed, they are not social and they are there in the cage inside the humidity for how long? saw some previous images and for now they no longer have feathers and that means they are very unhappy. Many people in there and not body do nothing

This place is really cool. It's a bit cheaper than other nurseries that we've been to, but obviously not as cheap as a home improvement store. But let's be honest, any nursery is going to have superior plants to what you get at a home improvement store. Even if you aren't looking for anything in particular, if the weather is nice, check this place out. I wish I could bring a picnic here.

Worst service at a nursery ever. Say they don’t have stuff they have because they don’t want to make an effort. Register is outside in the sun and they like to make you wait in the Sun for no reason.

Whitfill planted my lemon tree. I went out to make sure the root ball was exposed, and asked them twice to make sure that was the case. The lemons were on the tree.

After they left, I went back out and every single lemon that had been on the tree was on the ground and crushed.

I called to let Whitfill know and they said “That’s crazy. I don’t believe my team would do that. We have too many lemons, you can pick all the lemons from our trees you want.”

Well, they did. I don’t think they realize the quality of service is the concern, I’m not looking for “free lemons.”

I won’t be returning here for the rest of my landscape renovations.

I love this place. My fruit trees are 30+ years old and still producing. Grapefruit, naval oranges and tangelos. Amazing fruit.

I loved all the plants. They had peacocks and peahens. we ended up meeting their two cats. Which are super fluffy ❤️. These are some of the plants I got. Hope you all enjoy and check out this nursery.

The Phoenix landmark is the best! We have been dealing with Brian and his gracious family for 37 years.

I visited the whitfill's in search of house plants. The nursery is filled with many great indoor and outdoor choices. The greenhouse was amazing. I was delighted to see the variety of plants. They were all well-kept and appealing. And to my surprise, Ms. Rebecca Whitfill graciously invited me to tour the nursery!! 😃Can you feel my excitement?? As we rode the grounds, she showed me a variety of trees and landscaping needs. Ms. Rebecca also shared the history of the nursery. What a treat! So adorable and friendly.

All of the staff were friendly and willing to assist in any way. It was definitely a great experience.

    Accessible entrance.

Frank at the Glendale Ave office did a great job recommending trees and shrubs for our yard. Mark and his crew did a beautiful and efficient job getting everything planted. Our yard looks great!

I’ve fallen in love with Whitfill.
The area is HUGE with so many different selections. This is a great place to bring your pup or kids and just spend sometime and enjoy what Mother Nature has to offer. Amazing customer service and lovely peacocks, love birds and parrots!
They also have a huge selection of garden herbs and veggies along with a really cool houseplant greenhouse 💚

This place is so much more than a plant nursery. The humans here are so helpful, fascinating, and knowledgeable. The plant selection is pretty good, especially for the outdoor plants, vegetables, flowers, and vines.

Indoor plant selection is a little lacking, but still has enough variety for the average plant enthusiast. They also carry pots and planters, fertilizers and soils, and plenty of accessories and decorations.

I really enjoyed my time here. Picked up a calathea and a Mexican pot. I definitely plan on coming back.

Best nursery in town. We've been going them for 40yrs. They always have appropriate plants, especially veggies, for the seasons. Their plasma are off high quality and have always produced.

Came here to check their indoor plants and left feeling sad. If you guys can host Christmas festivities and serve hot chocolate and kettle corn, then I’m sure somebody can take care of the parrots that are stressed and neglected in the greenhouse, alone, and with rotting food in the enclosure. The smell from the piles of droppings was pungent.

There is a review from three years ago stating this exact issue. The birds live 50-70 years, so tell me, would you subject a human being to these conditions?
