I have a very large mesquite tree that requires a lot more work and attention than the average tree. I had actually got and accepted estimate from another company but after 2 weeks of waiting for someone to call me to schedule the service, I contacted American Tree & Landscape. They were responsive and got me scheduled immediately, with the service completed within a few days of contact. They did a great job with the trimming and the cleanup. I will continue to use them for my tree service needs going forward.

American tree and landscape has been fantastic! I initially contacted them when a neighbor was using them to do a big clean up on their new home. Mo came over and gave me a very fair estimate for a tree removal, trimming and thinning a tree as well as trimming a tree that was encroaching my property. The company ended up doing my yard, as well as a few other neighbors after seeing their quality work! They did an exceptional job of clean up after the service, going as far as to requesting to go into my neighbor’s yard to clean up debris. I highly recommend using American Tree &Landscape!

The crew arrived at the scheduled time, and did a very good job. Considering the tree hadn't been trimmed in 3 years, price was more than fair! I will be calling Moe for any more yard/landscaping work needed in the future.

Great service. I contacted them using the chat and sent a picture of my palm tree. I got an immediate quote and the crew was here the next morning. They trimmed my tree and cleaned everything up nicely. Before and after pictures below.

We’re really happy with the service we received from American Tree & Landscape. They trimmed our front trees up to perfectly frame our home and removed 7 trees in our back yard. You wouldn’t be able to tell the trees ever existed. No holes or evidence of the trunk. Moe seems very knowledgeable and gave us great advice. We’ll definitely use them again.

I hired this business to remove a dead Mexican fan palm tree and trim an orchid and mesquite tree. The crew did a good job of taking out the palm tree. However, we were not satisfied with the trimming of the orchid or mesquite, and expressed this to the owner Moe. He agreed to send back a crew at no charge to re-trim the two trees to our satisfaction. This was done and we are very happy with the results. Thank you Moe for stepping up and making sure we were taken care of!

America. tree and Landscape was a great experience for me. Moe come over with in a few days after I connected him about a problem I had with some large trees I had in my back yard. The roots of the trees were causing some problems in my backstore neighbors yard. He gave me several different options that they could do. I chose to have them cut the smaller roots and then put up a barrier so the roots would grow a different direction. I couldn’t even tell it had been done after they were finished. Crew was very good and knowledgeable. I was so worried I would have to cut them down As you can see I didn’t

Had the city of chandler want to site us for the tree trimming and with time winding down, Moe from American Tree had it done in the same day. Thank you for understanding the time urgency and somehow fitting us in your busy schedule.

I used this company as a new customer in March because I really wanted the advice and expertise of a certified arborist. I needed a stunted, sunburned ash tree removed and wanted some advice on what to plant in its place. I also needed some other trees and bushes trimmed and fertilized. Moe and I talked by phone and texted about the work. When it came to consulting on what to plant where the ash tree was being removed, he wanted to Facetime about it, but I was busy at work and couldn't do that. So, I asked him to just start with the other work . He asked for photos and gave me a quote for the work. We scheduled a time for the work to be done and he let me know when they would show up. I wasn't going to be at the house that day (working), so asked them to contact my husband to let them into the yard. All communication had been only between Moe and I. My husband was only informed that they were coming and to let them into the yard. The crew showed up as scheduled, but Moe was not with them. The work crew spoke very little English and were trying to ask my husband questions about the work that was to be done. Being away from the house, I was unaware of this. I came home to find that 3 palm trees had been trimmed (which I had told Moe I wanted to wait for until June) and the peach tree had been staked with two stakes (extra charge), one that stuck out right in front of a door I go in and out of frequently. He sent me the bill afterward which included the extra charges for the palms and the stake. I told him that I was the person who scheduled the work and I wasn't happy with the lack of communication. Moe said we would take care of that at the next trimming. At that point, I wasn't sure I would schedule anything in the future. I settled up by giving a partial payment on the palms and paying the rest of what was billed. I am still seeking a certified arborist who will actually come out and consult with me, in person, to avoid all this confusion in the future. This wasn't a terrible experience, but I won't be hiring them again.

Mo and his team were fantastic. They removed our huge pine tree that was over 45 years old. I received a quick response for a quote and they were able to remove the tree quickly. We had used another company last year and noticed a big difference in quality.
These guys were professional and thorough. I was concerned about the safety of the workers and my mind was put to ease when the tree climbers came geared up with protection and planned out the removal. Cleanup was amazing. They even identified another tree that was at danger of falling due to a split from the last storm. They gave us a great price to just add that to the job. They even cut some special pieces for us for a coffee table top and seats for around the fire pit.

The communication was great throughout the project and I really felt our satisfaction was a top priority. I will be telling my friends about them and highly recommend.

The job was to remove couple trees and installed artificial grass, unclogged an outdoor shower drain. Mo and his team did an excellent job. he went more and beyond on the job. I know I met him for couple days but he has this good energy that you can sense it and I trust my guts and it was one of the best decisions. He said he was going to do the best to finish the job within 2 days + and he did it. He made sure he got the material on time and even though we got some hiccups he delivered as planned. In addition, he was giving me advices on how to take better the tress/plants and what we should do in the future. And something that I appreciate the most was his honesty. Anyway, I recommend his company and team for your future projects . You will NOT regret it!!!!

We hired this tree company to cut down a large tree in our yard. On the positive side, they did a great job with the actual tree removal — also next day. The crew was professional and clearly experienced with this kind of work.

Unfortunately, during the job, one of their team members accidentally broke our front window. Accidents happen, and we understand that, but the disappointing part was the response. It took over a week to get the window repaired, which left us dealing with a broken window in 100+ degree heat with our AC running and a mess of glass all over inside. No call no show appointments to fix the window.

To make matters worse, we were still charged the full price for the tree removal, despite the inconvenience and delay in fixing the damage. No discount or gesture of goodwill was offered.

In short: Good at tree removal, but lacking in customer service and accountability when things go wrong. I would be cautious if you're considering hiring them — especially if the work is being done near your home.
