I had an excellent experience with Benchmark Landscape & Design. Dave Aitchison provided a very reasonable quote to remove my old wooden pergola and replace it with a new aluminum one, redo my backyard sprinkler system, remove the old lawn, and install new sod suited to my needs. I also had a small paver area added to extend and enhance my patio.

Dave was hands-on throughout the entire project and communicated with me daily to keep me informed and answer any questions. His attention to detail, professionalism, and overall expertise really stood out, and his crew delivered high-quality work across the board.

Found Benchmark at the Home show. I recieved a call to schedule time to come out and bid within a few days. Benchmark bid a fair price and after reading other online reviews, we decided to use them for our travertine and wall trellis work. Benchmark did amazing work with custom made trellis's and handled all small changes and any issues that came up with ease. The workmanship was top of the line as well as the professionalism of everyone I interacted with. Benchmark will be my first call for any outdoor work from now on. Excellent company to do business with.

A car crashed through my cinderblock fence; Benchmark was out to clean up debris, repair and paint fence. All done quickly, efficiently and in a workman-like manner. Very pleased.

Our yard was just gravel rock with a few plants, so we called Benchmark Landscape & Design and asked them to landscape our front yard and create a patio/landscape in our back yard. We met with Dave, and he gave us information about what they would be able to do in our yard. We came up with a design including a special request for a few special Cactus types that he was able to find for us. Benchmark did everything, the demo of the old yard (including removing 2 trees), creating berms, planting Cactus and Plants, landscape lights, Patio Pavers, Patio Cover, backyard gate and irrigation. We asked for a couple of changes to our design during construction and they made the changes without hesitation. Dave promised us we would love the completed project and in our opinion he actually “over delivered”. The final product is amazing, we are very impressed with them. We have recommended them to a few of our friends and they have been very pleased with their work. We absolutely recommend them if you need any type of Landscaping.

Outstanding! I would recommend "Benchmark Dave" to anyone looking to do a partial or full remodel their front/back yard. I obtained bids from 4 landscape companies and met with 3 of them. Dave's depth of knowledge and "non-salesy" approach told me he was the guy to go with. Dave showed up on-time and his crew worked tirelessly in 110-degree weather to get the job done on time and on budget. What I was most impressed with was how meticulous and efficient his crew was. I'm already hiring "Benchmark Dave" for phase II next year. If the Google rating had six stars, I'd give him 6 out of 6.

I cannot tell you how much I recommend benchmark design and Dave. I am a first time home buyer and was stuck with a yard that was very difficult to landscape correctly. I have heard horror stories about different landscapers and contractors so I was extremely nervous. Dave came out the day after I contacted him, he was prompt and very friendly. He gave me a SURPRISINGLY reasonable quote for quality work. I went looking at the stone colors and found one I liked, I told him and he went to get it but they didn't have any and wouldn't for months. He really went above and beyond spending extra time going to other places and contacting other people to get the exact color I wanted and I appreciated the effort he spent. I am blown away by the completed project and so happy, he transformed an extremely small hardly usable yard into something I now LOVE! Thank you!

I contacted Dave after a botched job working with another contractor. He was able to survey our backyard, understand what we were trying to do, and make great suggestions on how to correct and complete the back yard. The other company hadn’t finished the backyard in 8 months. Dave was able to to complete the backyard in 3 week and my wife and are were grateful for the completed backyard and the changes to our front yard.
