This place is so beautiful and has such great prices on the cactuses and all of the other fun stuff they have there! Turner was a great help for me and my family and we really appreciate him helping us out today!

They don't guarantee Ocotillos. They sold me a dead one (landscape contractor confirmed). 6 months later stems are still dry, brittle, with no green in them. Their response "It can take 12-18 months to show life, we only guarantee for 30 days". This was on a plant they already had in a planter, and watering on their lot. I offered to bring the plant back for an exchange. No exchanges. I pretty much paid for dry Ocotillo sticks.

It's a little bit pricey, but where in the world are you going to find such a huge selection of various cacti, probably every kind that exists under the sun, than this spot in Northern Phoenix? It's really worth a stop and is just off of I-17, which runs from Flagstaff to Phoenix. If you can imagine a Cactus Heaven, this must be the place!

I called Old West to see if they had the 10 cacti I needed. I was elated to hear they had the cacti, found their quoted price to be competitive and even got them to send a picture of the cacti before I drove the 20+ miles to their acreage. The next day when I got to Old West the price had increased by 50%, yes 50%. The staff member that quoted me the price and also sent me the picture said he didn’t remember the price he quoted. Needless to say I wasn’t going to pay the higher price and walked. What a way to run a business and build consumer trust.

We live nearby but did not even discover the place for a few years. When we did we never went anywhere else. They have excellent product at the most reasonable prices around. Not just cactuses, shrubs, trees and even other decorative doo-dads. People are nice too.

The selection is phenomenal & the prices were very reasonable.

Jose was knowledgeable & helpful. He was most accommodating, helping us get everything loaded in the trailer. We got to Texas with everything in tact.

We plan to make another trip & will definitely be back.

Turner & Kevin were the best! I learned a lot about the care of cactus and so much about all the different types. I will be back for more! Such a great variety of desert beauties. Highly recommend. Shop small, support our local businesses! Especially those that span 3 generations 🇺🇸

We stopped at this farm while visiting from N.C.! Staff was amazing and helpful. Purchased 8 plants to take to N.C. staff packed my plants to take on the plane! Plants travelled perfectly and look amazing in my home.

This was one of the highlights of my trip! So many types of cacti. Would recommend everyone stopping by this place.

I have never seen a nursery this big. Unbelievable amount of numerous kinds of cactus. A wide variety of sizes. Great service with everybody answering your questions and the prices were good. Bought 3 cacti this time and two last year. They went out of their way to make sure everything would travel way up north. Would recommend this place for all your cactus needs.

By far, the BEST selection, variety and prices of any place we shopped in the Valley, for complete landscaping for our front yard. Prices were much less expensive, for more mature plants. Josh was exceptionally nice and helpful with our choices of cacti, agave and other plants. They held them for us for over a month, until we could have the landscaping started. Upon delivery, Raymundo was super cordial and helped with the proper placement. Highly Recommend.

This nursery has the best selection of cactus and xeriscape plants in the valley. The prices and selection can't be beat. Plants are very healthy and of excellent quality. There are many unusual specimens for collectors. This is a 3 generation family business. They are super knowledgeable and enjoy educating customers - no matter if you make a large purchase or just buy one small item. Open 7 days a week.

If you’re looking for a cactus, this is the place! I bought 2 agaves there for $25 each. Moon valley was asking $129 each for the exact same thing. It’s worth the drive. I bought a cactus too, put it in a pot and it looks awesome!

This place was fun to explore. They have a TON of cacti and some nifty yard art, we purchased two pieces. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable as well.

We really love shopping here. Great customer service. Thanks to Turner and his crew for feeding my addiction. Beware, one cactus turns into a hundred cactus before you know it, but the wife can see what's happening.

We stopped by Old West Cactus Farm while on our trip to AZ, and had a great experience. The father-son duo there assisted my mom to pick out cacti to fly home with us, and helped to pack them nicely for transport.
They walked us through the greenhouses full of rare and beautiful cacti, they were extremely knowledgeable and helpful!
    Incredible selection.

A good choice of cacti and ornaments, at reasonable prices. Friendly, welcoming staff. It was nice to walk around and get some ideas for our landscaping. We'll certainly be back.

Just checked this place out for the first time. Very expansive and tons of cactus to check out. They also have some pottery and succulents as well.

Almost nothing has prices so shopping can be difficult. Also not everything out is for sale. You pretty much have to ask them prices and if the cactus is for sale if you find something you like.

Very nice place to check it now that the weather has cooled down. Just a bit of a drive out of the valley.

We had a great time at Old West Cactus Farm. Get prepared for a FREE (unless you buy something, which we did) adventure around all the very cool cactus that they sell. It was amazing to see the variety and to learn about the plants. Just be careful not to get too close! Wonderful staff who were helpful in assisting us in what plants would do well back home. A definite place to stop!
