Great company I was quoted ridiculous pricing from 3 other companies on trimming my palms. AZ Scapes came out great pricing and great service. I even wanted to cut a tree cut down and told the owner of AZ Scapes I would pay $800.00 he said that was to high and did it for $550.00 now that a honest company right there.

I wouldnt recommend them I had nothing but problems bc they was taking money out of my bank they didn't do my yard and I had a little front yard and they would charge me over a hundred way to much it takes 5 min to do my yard

It's great to be able to schedule and modify my lawn care service through the app. No hassle and simple. Would recommend to anyone with landscape needs.

Did a great job mowing, but weed eating the weeds and mowing was not worth the 120 dollars. I had inspection even they were not pleased. I had my son dig and pull them up like I thought I paid for.

It's hit or miss whether you get decent service. Current lawn service has been pretty bad. Constantly getting canceled, just mows over rocks, and poor communication on arrival times.

Everything was great. Just moving.

Great service and easy to schedule

Jimmy has always been a great help to me since I injured my back taking care of my yard. He really knows his stuff and is really good at maintaining the six trees I have at my property.

Terrible experience for a first time customer. They prepared a quote, took payment information and scheduled a date for lawn work. Not only did they never show, they never contacted me to say they couldn't make it. I had to go to the app to see that they had cancelled. Don't waste your time

I was skeptical about LAWNSTARTER because the reviews I had read were mostly negative. I am so glad I did not judge by what I had read. LAWNSTARTER is great! My landscaper is on time, dependable, reliable, courteous, professional, and detail orient. Best Landscaper I have had since moving to Phoenix in 1990.
The best part is that the price is so reasonable. I am on a limited income and LawnStarter’s rate beat any service I have ever had. Thank You Lawnstarter for sending Joseph to make my yard beautiful again. !

I was talked into trying service by Steve and was mislead on cost and charges. This company is not upfront with charges and will hit your credit card days after service with extra charges. Dishonest and misleading customer service. I highly recommend avoiding this company as your actual bill with double the quote for service.

Beware of this business. Lawn Starter will send a crew out to mow your yard. Then the crew will send you an email that they can’t access your yard which is a lie because I’ve been home waiting for them to show up. Then they’ll mark the job is complete and charge your account $$ this is happened more than once to me.

It's hard to find good local services when you move, so I took a leap to try LawnStarter. My first cutting was delayed due to a scheduling problem with the first service provider but LawnStarter found someone else to take care of the lawn. Rob has been on time and the work is done well each time. LawnStarter is one of those services that seems to work as you hope it should.

The job itself was okayish. Lawn looked ok.
Basically weedeater was used on back yard,, lots of grass blown into my pool.. we were not told photos would be taken of our yard and sent to the company to process for a long grass fee charge of 33.00. Our grass was not over 6 inches , crew stated fee charged over 9 inches. When the company offerred to credit it was not back to our card but rather placed on account towards next service. They also have a safety and trust fee of just under 2.00 added as well. Hard to find phone number for business as it is not on the app. Hard to remove/update payment info.

Would havevrated 5 stars had we not had to go through all this extra hassle and extra charges that were not quoted up-front..lots of finger pointing between company and crew as to whos to blame for the double billing and fees

The people providing the service are not always the same people.
I've had issues with the providers providing a specific date and time.
The providers assigned have to commute a long distance to my property.
LawnStarters have billed me twice for services not provided because they do not have a billing approval process for their providers.

They did a real good job with my yards. Its easy to change the schedules to fit your lawn if you need it cut this week or wait til the next. Affordable. I wish i knew about them sooner

They are good and quick and reliable company

Signed up for this service thinking it would be reliable! It was horrible. My crew was supposed to show up on a Tuesday and never did. I had to call lawnstarter and inquire about what was going on… I got the feeling they didn’t even know, but, rescheduled me for Friday. Noon on Friday comes around and, alas! The crew has yet to show up. I called lawnstarter again and they assured me the crew would be there. When 4 o m’ clock came around and no one had showed, I called again. After being on hold for 10 minutes they informed me the crew would not be showing up. They couldn’t even give me a reason. Again, this was me having to call… Not once did they ever initiate communication with me. If you want your lawn/yard work done, don’t book with lawnstarter. This company is an absolute joke.

Katherine did reach out and was apologetic and offered to *try* to get me on a crew’s schedule and make me priority free of charge(I think I should have been priority after a crew didn’t show up the first time, but, that’s neither here nor there at this point.) I definitely appreciated the offer but did did not take her up on it… I have very little confidence that a crew would actually show up. At least the customer service seems to be taking a turn for the better.

The service was good. He introduced himself again and asked how my day went. We reviewed the work to be done and the cost. We also spoke about future projects. He is very busy but was not impatient. He even suggested a few tips for me and my family. Will use again. My family likes that he is bonded, insured and is a local!
