John was very quick to call us back. We had used him for another house as well; so we knew him. We were in need of a total front and backyard landscaping. John listened to what we wanted and added his own design. All of which worked out very well. We would highly recommend his service.

John from Red Mountain Landscaping has done awesome work for us. He showed up when he said he was going to and finish the job on time. Our Turf looks awesome and Red Mountain Landscaping was the most reasonably priced quote that we received. Will go to them for all of our Landscaping projects in the future

Worked with John from Red Mountain to refresh our existing landscape and install new irrigation. All communication was clear. The work was completed on time and as expected. Also appreciate that John keeps his commitments to call or swing by to meet. Very satisfied with the end results. Red Mountain will continue to be our vendor of choice going forward with maintenance and/or future updates.

John went above and beyond to help us achieve our vision we had for our backyard and patio. He came out to look at the project and gave us options, ideas and recommendations as if it was his own place. The project went just as smooth and everything he promised he followed through with and even did extras to make sure it was done right and we were satisfied. We have other projects in mind and John will be for first person we call to help us out when we are ready. We cant wait to enjoy our backyard now and will be recommending John to any of our friends and family who need landscaping done.

John and his team did an incredible job from start to finish. I have worked with a handful of landscaping companies and nobody comes close to John and Red Mountain. Their communication was outstanding, always staying ahead with updates and progress, so I never had to follow up. Initially, I hired Red Mountain to install turf, add trees, and set up lighting in my front yard. Impressed by how quickly and efficiently they completed the work, I decided to have them tackle my backyard as well, adding an RV gate and lining the property with trees. They seamlessly transitioned to the new project without missing a step and finished it in no time. I can't say enough good things about Red Mountain, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great company to complete your landscaping project.

The man on the phone was extremely rude.

This man has a horrible temper. He gets very frustrated if you ask too many questions.

This company says it’s AZ irrigation On its ads and website but here it’s cutting edge landscapes, something doesn’t seem right. I would definitely be aware of this business as it seems as if it’s an imposter of another company.

Rich installed a new irrigation system at a competitive price and warrantied it for 10 years. His crew showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves, and showed me how to use the new system. I'll call Rich the next time I need irrigation help.

Rich and crew did a terrific job on our complete front yard remodeling! We extended our driveway pavers, put in artificial grass with "tree islands" and updated our sprinkler system for the new plantings. Rich added creativity to our initial design ideas and helped with the HOA approval. Most importantly he was on the job along the way.

I can highly recommend Cutting Edge for irrigation installation and repair. I hired them to design and install an irrigation system on my well established, heavily landscaped, half acre property and was more than impressed with the quality of work and high level of experience and professionalism from the initial consultation to the final walk around with the foreman. Well done Cutting Edge.

I reached out to Cutting Edge Landscape based on the reviews I read online and felt good about my choice selecting them since some contractors never return calls or show up for quotes. I called and talked to Rich, scheduled a job walk and it took a turn that was very odd.

Rich showed up, I shared with him what I was wanting to have done and I felt blown off the entire job walk as if he wasn’t listening or flat out didn’t care. Maybe my job was too small for him, I don’t know.

He got his measuring wheel out of the truck, quickly walked the path of irrigation lines I was wanting renovated, no questions and no comments of any kind, the path was not accurate but I figured it would be close enough, he turned and said to me “OK, I will let you know” and got in his truck.

No discussion or additional commentary which was way weird. I was just standing there. I called Rich the next day giving him 24 hours, left a voicemail, no call back whatsoever.

It’s unfortunate that he couldn’t make time for me because I am giving my money to someone else now. Sad that he wasted my time and his and couldn't be up front and communicate one way or the other.

It’s companies like these that give contractors in general a bad rap. You are only as good as your word!

Update 7/6/23: I stand by this review even though the business owner has tried to spin the topic below. I asked Cutting Edge to completely replace the existing in-ground poly supply line with new schedule 40 PVC and manifolds for the entire front yard. It was not drip to 3 plants as claimed. The job was trenching, removal of existing 12-year old poly lines, removal of pavers and reinstallation, and new pipe installed with manifolds for multiple mature trees, shrubs and plants.

I left my phone number and email with the company, requesting a call back and quote which never happened.

My review is not false nor legally negligent, it's fact!

Rich and his team were outstanding! Their work on repairing and updating my irrigation system was timely, responsive and reasonable. I would highly recommend them as they stand behind their work and took care of my issues as if it were their own home. They are great!

The crew from Cutting Edge Landscape & Irrigation were great. Arrived on schedule and started the job immediately upon arrival. They were hired to replace existing 27 year old drip irrigation system in front and back yard. Installed new valves & new controller. The entire crew were very professional, knowledgable in irrigation and hard working. When the job was done we did a final walk around, showing that all drips were working and how the valves were setup on the controller. I would highly recommend them, overall great job. They were fair priced, excellent workmanship and experts in irrigation. If you want a job done right, call this company!

Highly recommend! Rich and the team helped me to design and complete my backyard just how I envisioned it! Their pricing was unbeatable and they completed the work in the exact time that they said they would and everything from the turf to the pavers, to the plants look amazing! I will use them for any future landscaping/irrigation work!

Just had them replace my whole irrigation system. They are amazing. Starting from Rich coming out and quoting the project and than his whole crew that worked super hard until everything was done as agreed. They did great job and we are very happy.
Their pricing and timing is also one of the best comparing to the others.

The Cutting Edge crew was fantastic starting from my initial call to Rich. They were able to fit me in within a few days of the initial call even with their busy schedule. The crew called in advance letting me know if their arrival time and were on-time. They were quick and professional with their work and cleaned up the entire work area prior to leaving. They also made sure I was comfortable with all their work and that it worked as planned. I will definitely contact Cutting Edge again for my next irrigation system project!
