I can’t t say enough good things about Gordon and his whole team. From the planning, through execution, and final walk through, they all were polite, respectful of any questions, and efficient. We are all very pleased with the quality of work and grateful they were so tolerant of our crazy dogs.

First we went through the things we would like to do with our backyard.

Then Ben made some suggestions and we arrived at the final design.

He gave us the itemized estimates, and there was never any sales pitch to pressure us to go for bigger budget. He even pointed out ways to save money.

The installation team had 4 capable people, who finished the entire project on time as promised and we love the final result.

Gordon and his team installed SOD in my backyard that came out great! He was very professional and easy to work with. His prices were also very competitive. We are using Blossom and Oak again to install pavers. Highly recommend!

First impressions with Blossom and Oak, were great. Gordon was very friendly and eager to make the backyard we were envisioning a reality. He was able to schedule us quickly and a few weeks later, our yard was finished! First looks, everything thing was amazing and we were super happy. However, over time (less than a year) the pavers began to lift and sink, the edges were no longer adhered to the concrete, and some began to drift away. I let Gordon know and he quickly sent out a team to make repairs. So again, we were left very happy. Unfortunately it happened again, but without hesitation Gordon sent a team out to make repairs for a second time. He was very apologetic and really wanted to make things right. Things were repaired and all was well. Then we got some rain, it was obvious at that point the repairs were not going to hold over time. We were all confused why this was happening and we all wanted it to be made right (including Gordon). This time, he decided to have the full yard redone. He addressed any potential issues that may be causing the problems and even took extra measures to ensure it wouldn't happen again. A few days later we got some major rain lasting a few days. And guess what, nothing moved. I think he finally got it to settle properly and we are overall pleased with the results. Even outside the 2 year warranty he was willing to make things right and I think that speaks volumes on how he runs his business. Its the customer first mentality that you dont see anymore, and im glad he sticks to that motto.

This review is long overdue. We worked with Gordon earlier this year to landscape the backyard of our new home. He gave us terrific advice and ideas, and helped us save money along the way. His work crew did a top notch job and the project came out beautiful. He was so responsive and kept in communication every step of the way answering questions and ensuring we were happy with the progress and finished project. We couldn't be more pleased. As a business owner for the past 42 years who has prided himself on customer service, I recognize a "value" company. Gordon was very easy to work with and has excellent communication skills. His staff and field crew are extremely skilled and are some of the hardest workers I have seen in the service industry. Gordon is punctual and keeps to his time commitments and makes sure all is going according to plan. My Wife and I were more than pleased with the quality of this installation. Noella was an extremely skilled worker and made sure our work site was clean and proper when the work was completed. I would not hesitate to recommend this company for anyone looking for their services/products.

Can’t recommend Blossom and Oak enough! From the very first time Ben came out to give the quote to even now after the project is done, he and his crew have been nothing but professional and a pleasure to work with. I received multiple quotes, but Ben’s was the most thorough and he actually took the time to listen to our ideas. He also gave great recommendations, but always made a point to let us know that they would ultimately do what we wanted. There were even some points during the project where we felt like we were being annoying because of the amount of changes and tweaks we were making with the design, but Ben was more than accommodating and you can tell that he wanted to make sure the backyard turned out exactly like we envisioned. A landscape project can be a big investment but you will feel great about doing business with B&O. Thank you Ben, Angel and rest of the Blossom and Oak crew!

I hired Blossom Oak Landscaping in 2023, working directly with Gordon Palmer, to complete the full landscaping for both the front and backyard of my newly purchased home in Gilbert.

At the same time this project was happening, my wife was diagnosed with stage four cancer. Because of her condition, we were traveling constantly seeking treatment, and I was not able to be present at the house while the work was being done. I trusted Gordon completely to take care of everything and deliver excellent results.

I paid $52,000, exactly what he asked for, without negotiating a single dollar—because I wanted quality work and peace of mind during one of the most difficult periods of my life.

Unfortunately, that trust was misplaced.

The materials used were clearly the cheapest options available. The lighting installed on the front-yard stairs was very poor quality and is now completely dead. I had to personally replace it with proper sensor lights at my own expense. The front water fountain was supposed to be centered with my sliding front door, which I specifically requested, but it was installed off-center.

The backyard is not properly leveled—there are visible uneven areas where some sections are higher than others. There are also noticeable gaps between the tiles throughout the backyard, which should never happen in a project of this scale or cost.

I did not leave a review immediately because my focus was entirely on my wife’s health and survival. However, every time I look at my front and backyard, it honestly makes me sad. I trusted someone to do the right thing while I was away dealing with a life-or-death situation, and instead I feel that advantage was taken of my absence.

What makes this even more upsetting is seeing my neighbors’ landscaping—beautiful designs, clean work, and high-quality lighting—for less than two-thirds of what I paid.

I am writing this review so others know what happened to me. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Blossom Oak Landscaping or Gordon Palmer. Please be extremely careful. Knowledge means nothing without honesty.

Gordon was extremely professional and did exactly what he said he would do! His follow up and communication were awesome. At our first meeting Gordon had great ideas and was able to draw out our plan. The guys that came to do the travertine and pavers were hard workers, pleasant to have in the backyard and took pride in doing a great job. I was searching for a landscaper that I could use for my own home as well as recommend to others. We are very pleased with the results and I would highly recommend Blossom and Oak Landscaping.

Gordon and his team hit the ball out of the park with our recent re-landscaping project. They completely reworked the landscaping for both front and back yards, installed some fantastic stone work on both sides of the house, and completely replaced the aging irrigation system with a completely new system, and installed a mix of low-voltage lighting and electrical as part of the work.
