Contractor reviews in Tempe, Arizona

Terrible at tracking their inventory and knowing what’s in their store

got my wood, asked an orange apron to get somebody to help me with cutting the wood. 15 minutes later I went to the front desk to ask again. 15 minutes later I asked another person and they went to the backroom to get somebody who could cut lumber. 30 minutes after I got my lumber and asking four people to get somebody to cut it for me I was late for work without getting my wood 😠 horrible Home Depot. Calling corporate about this.

I asked where was the bathroom and the lady on customer service with a very bad attitude told me where and then when I got there she required a code, really terrible service.

GeeGee single-handedly made my day, above and beyond associate behavior. She helped me out in flooring beyond what I had imagined, after I came in with a "probably a lost cause, but —" attitude about a project.

The young man who came to my home was very professional and polite. Gave a full rundown of what he had done. ☑️ v

Another trip to Home Depot. Seems like I cannot walk into Home Depot anymore and spend less than $100.

They're mixing up the store so bad you can't find anything. You Have to shop and look everywhere to find materials. All of the Home Depot should have the same layout. They used to.
-
Absolutely horrible customer service. They designed and ordered a kitchen redo. Cabinets don't fit, door too large. Gaps with out full. NEVER TRUST THEM!! And they refuse to accept responsibility even they came out and took pictures and measures twice!!!

Due to health problems I am not able to wear a mask. Ordered a toilet and came to pick it up in store at customer service desk was quickly asked if I had a mask. Explained that I can't wear a mask and was refused service and asked to leave the store. Wouldnt speak with me further other than to offer a mask. I had to ask for a manager who was nice but also said store policy is YOU MUST wear a mask to enter the store. I have been to Home Depots all across the valley about 1 store every 3 days to pick up parts for customers and this is the first store to not allow me inside. After talking with the manager and explaining I was just there to pick up an order I could wait outside he said that was OK and suggested curbside pickup. Not too helpful co sidering last time I did curbside I had to wait over an hr in the parking lot before they came out with the order and it took going inside for them to see the order.

Great experience with Home Depot carpet installation. Very reasonably priced, good quality and professional install from their contractor Western States Flooring.

I had a carpet installation replacement. The home Depot personnel was extremely helpful and careful to work with my needs. I would recommend anybody who needs flooring services to visit home depot in Tempe / kyrene to guide you to find the best choices . Also the installer service contractor was very professional.

I went to the store to purchase an oven and dishwasher, but no one was available to help. Waited for around 20 min and even went to customer service, but I still wasn’t able to find someone to write up the order. The store was not busy at all, it just appeared that there were not any employees.
I finally went home and tried to order the appliances online, but for one, the online cost was more than the in-store cost, so I had to switch to a different item.
Delivery and installation were fine.
