Matt (and his design team) made the process enjoyable. He was always responsive, open to feedback, and genuinely invested in our satisfaction. Because we were so pleased with the results, we now also work with Kira and the maintenance crew — they keep our grounds as vibrant and tidy as they were on day one.

Today, whenever we walk through our yard at dusk and see the lighting casting soft glows across the foliage, or pause by one of the garden nooks, we feel like we’re in a custom oasis. We have used Sonoran Gardens for both installation (hardscape and planting) and for regular landscape maintenance for almost 12 years and could not be more pleased with their work. Their crews are knowledgeable and take a real interest in making and keeping our landscaping in top condition. We are contacted before each visit to see if we have any special concerns, a practice we've not seen before. Whenever we have had a problem, e.g. an irrigation leak, response is immediate and the problem is resolved. We cannot recommend this family owned business highly enough.

Workers are very good and courteous. Office does not follow up on requests nor information requested even after multiple attempts by phone, email and text.

Worked with Matt to implement a makeover of our backyard. Sonoran Gardens was able to complete much of the work while we were away - communicating via email and sending photos. Very easy to work with and very proactive in getting our feedback and addressing anything that we weren't 100% satisfied with. Whole crew was very professional. Big thumbs up!

Amazing! That is the best way I know to describe them. We moved here in June 2015 and they redid the landscaping completely. We have enjoyed it for the past 10 years. Since the initial installation they have maintained our landscaping. This included lighting, watering and system maintenance, trimming, replacing plants … There is pretty much nothing they don’t take care of. When we have any issues they are addressed in short order. I wish every company that provided service to us was this good!

We had Sonoran Gardens landscape and fence a large part of our backyard in 2020. They did an excellent job and we're still enjoying it 5 years later. Sonoran Gardens and the designer coached us how best to use the space and they were right! The best part is we are on their quarterly check-up program so can have them come periodically to check irrigation, do additional planting and various other services. Love them and truly recommend them.

Lo peor que puedes ver cuando miran tus mensajes y nunca respondió sólo ignoró . This company gave us a wonderful quote for the job we wanted done. They kept the yard clean each day they left and they finished the yard to our satisfaction. Looking for more projects for them to do and we will be using them for monthly service as well! Highly recommend them!!!

Jorge and his team did a great job laying pavers at the front of my house. I wanted to widen my driveway out by about (20’x10’) for more space to park my car. There were also some small cactuses (4) that had to be moved for the pavers and gravel to be relocated as well. Jorge came by the next day and provided a competitive quote that I accepted via email/website. He scheduled me in the next week and the project took about a day and half to complete. He is friendly to work with and he quickly understands what needs to be done.

In addition, as a side job, Jorge was able to program my water controller (I could not figure it out, it was set up by the previous owner and had no manual) and he repaired the system that had two major breaks in the lines.

Overall, I am very satisfied with his team’s work and would highly recommend them for anyone who needs landscaping work done in the Tucson area.

Jorge and crew were great to deal with. The estimate was spot on, and reasonable. From first walk thru to plants in the ground, Cardinal Landscaping did a outstanding job!

After getting a quote from Jorge that was much more reasonable than the other companies offered, I immediately went with it! The owner literally brought supplies to get started that same day and less than a week later, my yard went from sand pit to finished. Jorge and his crew did an even more amazing job than I imagined possible. The pavers turned out fantastic and he even fixed some issues with my irrigation system for free that another company had installed. It's really nice to see the owner of the company helping out his crew with the work and I can tell he really cared about doing a great job. It feels good to do business with a family run business and I will definitely be using them for any landscaping needs that come up.

Jorge and his crew did an outstanding job on our project. We needed to have our entire irrigation system taken out and replaced and we wanted to have our backyard landscaped (after 19 years) and contacted several companies. A couple of them ignored us after an initial call while another came and gave us an outrageous estimate for the irrigation system while promising us all sorts of things for the backyard (without taking any measurements). Jorge called us and promisedto come out the same day and when he arrived, he looked at everything, gave us an estimate we understood (and explained how the other company was upcharging and selling us work on the irrigation system that didn't need to be done) and took the time to listen to us, provide suggestions, and do everything we expected from a professional providing an estimate. He and his team came earlier than originally expected (which was welcome), worked all day, and even stayed longer than expected each day just to be sure nothing was left undone. Jorge took suggestions during the project and was able to add and modify as the project was moving along. We are totally satisfied with the end result and can now finally enjoy sitting out in our backyard without feeling like we are sitting in an unfinished yard. He even came back out when we had a small leak in the irrigation system and fixed it right away (showing us where the leak was and how he fixed it). We are completely happy with everything from start to finish

I called Miguel to install turf on my house backyard. After he accepted my offer to do the job, he never responded to my phone calls and texts. It’s disrespectful and unprofessional attitude. I will never recommend him to my family and friends.

Miguel Villegas and his team of Desert Gardens, Irrigation & Landscape have completed multiple projects at our home. They replaced the irrigation and drip watering system in our front yard, trimmed the HUGE mesquite trees we have and put in a magnificent flower garden in our back yard. I love that they will work with you to create a master plan and then help you to implement that plan over time. I have and I will continue to refer Desert Gardens and Miguel to our friends, family and co-workers.

Miguel and his crew were absolutely awesome. I really appreciated his professional advice and creativity with my travertine, fire pit, and artificial turf install. He went above and beyond without breaking the budget. Using Miguel and his crew Is a great value because you directly cut out the salesman and middle person from other landscaping companies. We absolutely loved how the backyard came out! Ivan and his team were quick to get the job done and the prices were very reasonable. He was always available, and was even able to pick up some of the plants for us for a low fee. They install irrigation as well!
