Feeling ripped off! Delivered wrong stone. Because it's too much hassle to arque with them! I decided to keep it the stone, even though i hate the color. Since I just have a surgery it's too much for me to arque. They told me, to returned it I need to pay for the delivery again! Ashamed this company. No apologies. Make it sure double check ur orders before delivered! I will never order anything in this company! Never again!!!

Purchasing gravel for years from this company...but no longer!! Went in this am to get gravel. Yard was full. I was told non available...that I understand, but the rep was very rude and short with me. Then I called the other location to see if they had gravel available...once again very rude. These people have no people skills and treat customers like dirt.

The crew and office staff are the best at D&D. They’re always friendly, helpful and go the extra mile to help you. I won’t go anywhere else and if they don’t have something in stock, I’ll wait for them to get it stock.

I was in and out very quickly. They had everything I needed for a rock garden, and their layout is very accessible.

Its a shame that a company as big as D & D is ok with ripping off a local family business. Decals were made for them. They approved the work prior to completion. Lenience was given for payment because it was based on future work for all of their trucks. When payment was recently requested since no further orders had been placed, they called the word junk and said they wanted to return it. They were told it is not returnable because it was made specifically for their business. They were given an amount owed and they have not responded and we have not received payment.

I had a very small project but the staff were super helpful and friendly. They made suggestions about what materials to buy and how to use them. Everything worked like a charm. I spent almost nothing but they treated me like I was an important customer. I won't go any other place for landscapes materials.

I've used D&D for several projects, competitive pricing and always great customer service. Delivery was on time and the driver was nice and split the load into two piles for easier spreading.

Front office staff was helpful enough for us to place an order. Gravel for our front and back yards was dropped off and was what we ordered. We began spreading the gravel since it was going to be a lot of work. The next day the owner called saying we owned her an extra $650 on top of the already $2000 we paid, she said she accidentally dropped off more gravel and now we owed her. I have no way to measurr gravel, I asked her to show me weight tickets, she could not, the only thing she had was a copy of our receipt with the amount white out. Then she showed up at our house and began to act belligerent. She couldn't produce any proof or weight tickets, we had to eventually call the police in which they told us to continue spreading our gravel and that she needed to leave. I will not do business with this company again. Do not recommend.

Do yourself a favor and just go next door to ACME they aren't super rude and treat you like bother for showing up. Walked in and thought no one must be working since no one said anything. Nope, they are just rude here. I forget every few years and make the mistake coming in to buy things here they are unkind and unapologetic for being so. Not sure if they sell gold in those sandpiles because I' m questioning whats kept them in business all these years.

The Staff is Always great and eager to help... Best place for decorative rock in Tucson hands down.

obscenely loud company who likes to make noise exactly at 7am when people are trying to sleep who work nights instead of them oh i don’t know start to make noise around 10am. no one needs to be this loud at 7am, no ones able to play music that loud in the morning we would get a citation so the least you could do is respect the people who have to live around this company.

Their landscape rock is not consistent I ordered Apache Gold and put it in my yard I needed another 1/2 ton and came back for more the rock is much lighter and does not match the previous rock purchased 3 weeks before

Talked to a guy for 25 min got nowhere till transferred to next person who didn't get any of my info from other guy. I normally come in an pay but this time I forgot mostly my fault for being cheap and not paying the 15 percent over the phone. So amongst me being busy and working on projects I forgot to pay them and you think maybe a friendly call. Hey do you want that material you can pay over the phone now instead of set me back 2 days. So here we are I literally have no choice to use them out here in Vail so they get 2 stars I guess this is the last I use them 150 dollar delivery fee can't even courtesy call you but talk about it in the office. Guess I'm just another sucker customer it's okay in total i spent less than 3 grand so not much loss for them. On to the next

They have it all if you need landscape rock and it’s a snap to get in and out. Pick your rock, pay up front, pull around the back, and they just drop a ton or two into your truck. Easy Peasy.
I got a ton for ~$50.
They also have flagstone, boulders and soil (so I am told).
I will be back!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Went to purchase 4 tons of sand last week and requested it to be dropped off through my back gate into my backyard. The staff advised me that they would call me before arriving to my home so they could drop it off in the desired place. I never got a phone call and they dropped off 4 tons of sand in the street in front of my basketball hoop today around 2 PM. While the sand was being dumped, my stepson went outside to tell them to please stop because it was not in the right spot. They disregarded my son completely. My husband then called and went into the store personally to speak with them about the situation and they said that there was nothing they could do because they accidentally confuse the two and the seven for our phone number. Hundreds of dollars went down the drain due to the laziness and unprofessionalism of this place. Mind you I am eight months pregnant and this is for our pool in the backyard. I would not recommend coming to this business for any landscaping material at all. You’re better off going somewhere else where they know how to deal with customers.

This location is permanently closed, but Acme Sand & Gravel next door has apparently “absorbed” it. The D&D Materials location at 7575 E Old Vail Rd Tucson, AZ 85747 is still open.
