These guys used a crane to remove two very tall palms up against my house in windy conditions along with various other items. Responsive and reasonably priced. They did get the job done. I think communication could be a bit more clear when it came to expectations. They did fix tiny damage to irrigation tube. Overall glad they got it done otherwise the tree would have affected our house foundation. Thus was our first tree removal ever, so now that we know how the process works, we would recommend them.

This post is overdue by a couple months, but I had such a positive experience with Nicholas Tree Removal that it's a review I didn't want to forget to post. Over many years I have gotten just a few estimates for the removal of two large salt cedar remains. The main trees were long gone, but these wide and long stumps were huge and octopus-like with lots of new green growth. Salt Cedars take a lot of ground water if I remember correctly and they were an extra eyesore that needed to be removed for future landscaping. If I remember correctly, a couple estimates were extremely high and there was a more moderate one. I put it off for years until this past Spring and after looking at reviews/location, I gave Nicholas TR a call when I was in town. The scheduler was quick, professional and had great customer service. One of the owners came out to look at the trees and give an estimate. It seemed very reasonable (especially for a job that I thought was impossible for anything under thousands of dollars). Because of the professionalism shown so far and the great reviews, I just agreed to the job as soon as the email estimate was sent and didn’t bother calling other companies. Two men came out, did the entire job and something that I had been putting off for years, was FINALLY completed. Thank you so much for making this a positive experience!

Highly recommend! I recently bought my first house and it needed a lot of yard work done, including grinding down a large stump. Nicholas Tree Removal Service was able to provide a quote from photos, sent two gentlemen over to grind the stump down who were incredibly nice, and then allowed me to pay with over the phone with a card. Had a large tree fall on my house during a storm. Less than two hours from the time I first called him after the tree falling on my house, the tree was gone and they were finished. They did an amazing job for a very fair price. It was a late afternoon and they answered and came right away. I definitely recommend them 100% and will use them again

removing a large Eucalyptus tree from our yard. The tree's large branches were a danger to our neighbors and their property.
The job was done when scheduled, in the estimated length of time and price!

I was in need of having 6 very Large Italian Cypress trees removed from and raised small area, with obstacles in the way. It needed to be done quickly due to another project starting. I called several companies and if they called back or showed up the prices were all over the place, or never sent. Leading me to think this was a project no one wanted. I called Nichols, the woman who answered the phone was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and very friendly. She set up an estimate for the next day, they were on time, friendly and explained everything in detail. I had a price with in a couple of hours, sent to me in a professional email. The price was lower than any others I had received! Once I agreed I was scheduled quickly at my convenience. They arrived the day of the job on time, their equipment and trucks were nice, clean and they were prepared for anything! They were quick, thorough, professional and did an amazing job! They cleaned up after themselves better than it was when they arrived. My 4 year old Grandson came to watch and they were nice enough to save and show him some birds nests they found. I highly recommend this company, I will be contacting them again to work on my business also.

I had Aaron and his crew remove a Pine tree, it was maybe 50-70 foot tall. The tree was leaning dangerously towards/over a neighbors house. One company refused to touch it all together and two other companies came in with outrageously high estimates. One of which was 3 times the cost of what Aaron charged me. They arrived on time and with the right equipment to complete the tree removal in a timely manner. The estimate that we received was more then fair for the amount of work that was performed. They were professional and respectful as well as the clean up before they left was great. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for any of the services they provide. I’ll end with Jennifer, she responded to my voice mail in a timely manner and was helpful with any questions I had regarding the scheduling. She took care of the arrival times for both Aaron’s crew and also coordinated the cranes arrival time in junction with their crew as well. Once again I will highly recommend them to anyone in need of a tree removal or any of the other services they provide.

It was sad to remove the huge storm damaged mesquite from my yard. The location of tree hanging over the house, shed and garden required its removal.
Nicholis Tree removal service was totally professional from first contact for estimate to completed job.
The job required a crane and a great team to make this a success.
The team left and the only indication they were in my yard was my tree was gone.

Job well done

Uprooted Mesquite fell on garage roof and crushed a car in the driveway. Called & sent pictures to multiple tree companies that were recommended by nearby communities on NextDoor. Some proposals / estimates were extremely high. Other companies I contacted said they could not handle such a large tree.

Nicholas Tree Services contacted us back the same day I contacted them. They had a crane and chipper crew in our area and could remove the tree later that day. Their price was more than reasonable. They removed the tree with precision, cleaned up all debris, were professional during the work, and even helped to temporarily tarp the hole in the roof.

A storm knocked down one of my large eucalyptus trees onto a part of my house, ripping a hole to the inside, causing severe damage. Aaron, Todd, and the rest of the crew at Nicholas tree removal, including the crane operator, did an amazing, meticulous job safely cutting and removing the tree from my roof. Their attention to detail and teamwork performing the entire job from start to finish in one afternoon was impressive, but they didn’t stop there. They took the extra time to clean up thoroughly to a point where you wouldn’t have even known they were there. Such great people and a great company! Natalie, who runs the front office, is always there to take your call and answer your questions.
