Constraction reviews in Alexander, Arkansas

Johnnie was a breath of fresh air to work with. He always responds to messages, answers calls, and is always there when he says he will be, unlike many other contractors. Best of all, I had a small job, but he treated it like any other big job. He didn't put me off like a lot of people will do when it's a small job. I would highly recommend Johnnie and Arkansas Construction for anyone no matter how small or big the job may be.

Mr. Oldham is a pleasure to work with. He is a consummate skilled professional. His attention to detail is evident. He helped me through the Homeowners Insurance process and interceded with the insurance company, keeping me in loop every step of the way. His dedication and the resulting renovations were well above my expectations. I am am beyond delighted with his work. His hard work has more than doubled the value of my home! My gratitude for his hard work and the incredible results he achieved are difficult to put into words. I can wholeheartedly recommend him without reservation. He is an honest, hardworking individual who will go above and beyond to provide superlative results.

Johnnie and his crew did a great job. We wooden fencing and built a new metal fence around our pool. He and his crew also renovated two full baths. Provided great advice - didn’t inflate the project and even provided tips on savings that might be obvious. Will definitely call him again.

Arkansas Construction and Remodeling LLC came highly recommended to us as a company that would remodel our house as if it were their own. The owner Johnnie Oldham was very responsive and helpful in our total remodel of a house we had just purchased. He was reassuring and guided us in selecting materials that matched our budget as well as our taste. His crew set to work immediately per our work plan in a professional businesslike manner. The end result was truly a total transformation into a home we are very proud of.

We would most definitely recommend Johnnie and his business for any remodeling job. He did an awesome job for us and we could not be happier!!!!

Johnnie is a great guy to deal with. He’s very responsive and has a good team. I never had to wonder about the job after he told me when they would start. He even kept in touch with me about a little job, while he was on vacation! This is unheard of when dealing with general contractors in my area. I also asked them to do a roof repair, and instead of doing a partial job, he was upfront and honest and told me what had to be done to fix it right. Give him a call for any of your needs!

They are amazing! Johnnie is great and very professional. He keeps you updated throughout the project and makes sure you are happy with each step. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I reached to out to Johnnie and his team to re-do two walls and window framing in my basement. One of the walls was structural and the other has plumbing behind it for a wet bar to be installed.
From our first meeting at the house to receiving the quote, I was already impressed. He was thorough, professional, and walked me through exactly what needed to be done and how he was going to do the job. His communication throughout made this an extremely smooth process. He is very detail-oriented, and exceeded every single one of my expectations for the job.
The quality of work Johnnie and his team did is incredible. They are elite at what they do and it shows. They framed the walls, had the electrical redone, re-plumbed and insulated the piping, added insulation behind the walls, re-framed
the window, drywalled, and re-did the baseboards. Every single job was done perfectly, and he provided me with updates every step of the way. I can’t say enough good things about how well this job went. Johnnie will be my first call for any future work I need done without hesitation.

I’m the kind of person that really reads into reviews, and I’m picky when choosing who I want to work on my home. Johnnie is the correct answer. Don’t overthink it. Look at the caliber of his reviews, you won’t be disappointed. Johnnie will take care of any project you throw his way. He’s an outstanding contractor and a pleasure to work with!

I highly recommend Arkansas Construction and Remodeling. I called Johnnie right after my insurance adjuster came out to look at my roof and siding, and he came just a day or so later to give me an estimate, and within a week his crew was out here replacing my roof and siding. His crew was very friendly and did a great job cleaning everything up after they finished! Johnnie saw an issue with my original roof that wasn't necessarily done right when it was put on and he talked to my insurance company and managed to get them to approve him doing it the correct way. He also responded to my texts and calls in a timely manner. If you are looking for a trust worthy, contractor that will make sure he does what is best for you then contact Johnnie Oldham.

I had used this company for an addition to my house several years ago and was very pleased. We were happy to know that they were still doing what they are amazing at. Although the addition didn’t need updates, the original part of the house definitely did. This was the best remodeling experience one could possibly have! Our home was built in 1954 and has been completely gutted and beautifully updated. The crews that spent weeks transforming our home was some of the most pleasant, respectful, and on task crews. The communication was absolutely wonderful between us and Johnnie. (The owner)They went above and beyond to make sure everything was on point. We highly recommend this company. We have and will continue to send customers their way.

Johnnie and his team were fantastic to work with on my privacy fence. They were quick, clean, kept me informed of the progress and were very reasonable priced. I am very pleased with their work and will definitely be using them for other projects and remodels.

They helped us with a remodel project on our home. Everything looks beautiful! They were professional and very responsive. Highly recommend!!

Our project was a little out of the ordinary. We had an old barn that was barely usable and needed something better. The guys were able to take what we had and make it great! We now have a safe, insulated barn where we can store hay and bring the horses in without any concerns. Highly recommend!

Arkansas Construction and Remodeling exceeded our expectations with our bathroom remodel. The communication was excellent and the final results looked amazing. We will be using them again.

Johnny and his crew did a great job. Very responsive and done in a timely manner. Will be calling again for any other remodel or construction needs.

Very professional, personalized service!! We are so impressed by the work they performed in just one day!! We highly recommend this business to anyone needing home remodeling or roof repairs!! Will be scheduling again for an add on porch in the fall!

They did an amazing job. I had part of my shop enclosed and they did it in a very timely manner and were quick to communicate with me if I had questions. Very easy to work with. Would use them for any future projects.

Quality work speaks for itself, and I could not be more impressed with the deck and fence I had built. Johnnie is super professional and always responsive to questions (of which I had many, lol). It makes a difference when you can trust someone to complete the job and have an open line of communication for design elements. Phenomenal job!

I have worked with Arkansas Construction and their clients on multiple remodeling jobs. The homeowners desired vision & expectations are always at the forefront of each job. Arkansas Construction remains conscientious of the clients budget while using quality materials.

Johnnie has done several projects for me in my older home. Home built in 1917. He understands the issues with an older home. Latest project was turning a studio apartment into a Master Bedroom with attached ensuite bath. Project was completed timely and I am very satisfied with Johnnie's work. His crew was very respectful of my house while working in it. Will definitely recommend Johnnie for remodeling and construction. I love my new space!

October 2023:
Changed my Breakfast Room into a Bulters Pantry and added a private entrance to my Master Bedroom. Johnnie installed the cabinets and countertop for the Butlers Pantry and turned an old bathroom into the room that contains the new spiral staircase to the Master Bedroom. His crew was awesome and worked very quickly and cleanly. The crew was always there when they said they would be. Added a ton of storage to this old house, Much appreciated!!

From start to finish, Arkansas Construction and remodel were nothing but professional!

I recommend them to anyone who is leary of any remodel project. Johnny is so professional and so easy to work with.

They all were nice and very communicative. 10/10 recommend!

They remodeled a bathroom? Also built custom shelves and custom wine rack!

We couldn’t be happier with our new Master suite. Johnnie and his team were amazing to work with. He only works with the hardest working tradesmen. They are all very talented. Johnnie went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be using Arkansas Construction & Remodeling again.
