Mr. Glass and crew were super prompt and efficient and did an amazing job on short notice. Very courteous and reasonable service. They followed up with verbal details of the job as well. They will get follow up business from us as needed. Extremely satisfied! Highly recommend!

These guys were great from the first call I made to get an estimate. Very easy to communicate with and the work was way above expectations. They took down two pretty big sweet gum trees in my backyard right along the privacy fence and when they drove away, there was no sign that they had been here. No trees and no mess. Price was lower than expected too!

I had a large Silver Maple tree in my front yard. The tree was about 30 years old and had started to split, dry rot and during heavy wind drop branches. It was between my neighbor’s and my house so it became necessary to remove it for our protection.

Jay spent a great deal of time with me explaining exactly what he would do during the tree removal service and what it would look like when he was done grinding everything out. He answered all my questions and referred me to another vendor for a large replacement tree.

During the evaluation, I had several other questions and Jay returned my calls immediately and fully answered my questions. It wasn’t like talking to a contractor but more like talking to your best friend.

We scheduled for Monday at 8:30. Jay and his crew arrived at exactly 8:30 and began work. As they removed branches, they stacked them up length wise in a pile and picked them up with a claw and put them in the truck for landfill disposal. In between cuts and loading, they would rake up any remaining leaves or small branches. I was amazed at this since the leaves and branches could have sat there all day and not caused any problem. However, apparently in the crew’s mind keeping the jobsite clean was paramount to safety and performance.

Speaking of safety, the crew wore hard hats, safety glasses, gloves and long sleeve shirts for PPE. Not once did I notice an unsafe act.

As the larger pieces of the trunk came down, the crew would strategically place plywood so the impact of the log would hit the plywood and not put a dent in my yard. Again, that kind of surprised me since they knew I would be replacing all the sod around the tree but their professionalism keeps them honest and they did not want to damage my yard with big holes.

The tree came down without incident and then the process of the stump grinding began. It also went flawlessly but we had a great deal of anxiety during this time. The tree was placed on top of my natural gas line. Jay worked with Arkansas One Call and Arkla to make sure this process was safe and it also went off without a hitch. Man, what a pile of saw chips but then again surprise for the homeowner, the crew utilized plywood shields to minimize the spread of the chips all over the neighborhood and kept them all contained in about a 5-foot diameter around the chipping machine.

This is the customer service part that amazes me, I asked Jay if he could grind out another small stump next to my house and trim an oak tree about 3 feet up while he was here. I was expecting to have to pay more for the additional work from the quoted price but not on Jay’s watch. He did the work and charged me not a cent more. He also cut a couple of branches at my neighbor’s house while he was here.

At the end, the crew dressed my yard back up, removed all evidence of leaves, branches, etc. When I walked on the area I expected it to give some from the stump bring removed. To my surprise it was as firm as before with no voids.

Jay did exactly what he said he would do 3 weeks earlier, fulfilled all his commitments, communicated like a pro and even went above and beyond to do a few value-added things while he was here without a charge.

Last but maybe the most important pieces, as he was leaving he told me, I expect you to be 100% pleased with the job my crew did here today. If for any reason you are not, CALL ME and I will come fix it immediately. What AWESOME SERVICE from a contractor. Few times in life you get more that what you pay for and have zero problems and headaches.

Jay is very personable and very reasonably priced. He is a clear communicator and keeps you informed through the whole process. He and his crew are very professional, thorough, and prompt. He showed up with the crew and stayed until job was finished. I will defiantly use him in the future and will refer him to all family and friends.

Jay Pratt and his crew did an exceptional job at my home removing some limbs from a pine that was overhanging my roof. The process was done so quickly and all the wood and debris was removed once they were finished. If you’re seeking tree or stump services I urge you to give them a try. You absolutely won’t be disappointed!

The guys from Arkansas Tree and Stump just removed at least 12 (maybe more) from my property in Greenbrier. I own a home improvement company and can honestly say that the way these guy operate, is the way all businesses should operate. I am big on punctuality and these guys were never late. If you ever have need for tree removal, you can't go wrong by calling these guys. Excellent service, reasonable prices!

We have had them come to our house two times to remove trees and stumps. They are very professional and do a great job. When they leave everything is clean and you can not tell they were there. Very nice crew and price is very reasonable. If you need tree service I would highly recommend them.

I have used at least 5 other tree companies before- AR Tree and Stump puts them all to shame. Great communication from the time of quote to job completed. Staff showed attention to detail as cut three very large trees close to home. Cleanup after stumps grinding was impressive. Will definitely use again. High demand for their work means waiting for service but you will be glad you did.

These guys were awesome. They actually showed up on time for the estimate and the tree removal. The owner Jay was extremely professional and a joy to work with. The trees were removed and the stumps were ground and they left no mess. I have since used them on several of my rentals. I would highly recommend this company.

I needed a gumball tree removed on a short timeframe and Arkansas Tree and Stump came out and knocked out the job on a bad weather day. These guys are real professionals and went above and beyond at a great price. I plan on doing more business with them and highly recommend.

The storm took our huge sweet gum last night! Luckily it did not fall on our house, but was blocking our driveway. We called Arkansas Tree and Stump at 7:00am and they were here by 7:30am! They did an EXCEPTIONAL job in a short time for a very reasonable price! They even saved a 3 inch piece of the trunk for me! ☺️ We will definitely use them again if needed!

A large gum tree in our front yard was struck by lightning a couple of years ago and was dying. We got estimates from several tree removal companies. Arkansas Tree and Stump gave us an estimate that was about half of the estimate we got from some others. They arrived on time with the proper equipment to do the job safely and a work force large enough to get it done. There were no mishaps or collateral damage. Job took about 9 hours including a very thorough clean up. We were delighted with the service we received and recommend them highly.

These guys are awesome! Jay (the owner) is a great guy. Communication was excellent and customer service was actually mind blowing good! I called him to get an estimate and he informed me that they were pretty backed up which was expected being in the spring stormy season. He showed up the next day and gave me an estimate and also taught me a few things about what limbs were ok to take down without causing any long term harm to the trees. Some time passed and I noticed I had a huge limb about to fall on the house. Called him a couple weeks ahead of our scheduled day to do the work and he showed up and said they would go ahead and take the dangerous limb down even though they were busy. I came home on my lunch break to see if it was done and they went ahead trimmed two huge trees. Finished all the work we had discussed and some more. Talk about a nice surprise! I would definitely recommend this company to anyone. They leave your yard nicer than they found it. Very pleased with the customer service. I would leave 10 stars if possible.

It’s been about a week since Jay and his team were at our home and I’ve been struggling to get this review done. Mainly because I don’t feel any words would do justice to how amazed my wife and I were with Jay and his team. The work was impeccable, their professionalism second to none and there isn’t a single thing that I would change about the service they provided. I understand that when we want a service done we typically “shop” around. And maybe someone else offers you a better price but that doesn’t mean you’ll get better service or results. Jay is the real deal and as a person I can tell you there isn’t a better one. Thank You Jay!

We hired Arkansas Tree and Stump to remove two big trees between our house and our neighbors. They used an enormous crane and brought the trees down quickly and skillfully - truly impressive. They ground the stumps and cleaned up every last branch and leaf. Jay and his crew do great work. This is our second time hiring them, and we'll call them again in the future.

Arkansas Tree and Stump trimmed the trees in our yard last week. They raised the canopy and cleared out the dead wood in all the trees. They brought down several very large branches; some of them were hanging over the roof, and they brought each one down carefully.
They cleaned everything up, leaving the yard neat and tidy. These guys maneuvered large, heavy equipment up our driveway and through our yard, and there is not a scuff mark or tire track to be seen.
Jay and his crew work well as a team, and it’s clear that they know trees. What really stands out is how considerate and thoughtful they were -- making sure the sanitation truck could still pick up our garbage can between their work trucks -- double checking that our gate was closed so our dogs wouldn't get out -- they're detail oriented and considerate.
The price was reasonable, considering all the work they did and that this company carries full insurance. We’ll be repeat customers for sure.

He and his crew were very professional and nice. While I was at work, they answered all questions my wife had and kept her informed on what they were doing.
