As the owner of an electrical business myself, I have worked with Cole Faust and the guys at Smart Comfort on numerous commercial and residential projects. They always go out of their way to fit each individual’s project scope and needs. Their work is above and beyond the BEST. If you have not used Smart Comfort yet, then you’re probably not “COOL”!

AC went out not sure when. Got home at 5 pm at it was 89 in house and dogs were hot. Called Joey and tech called right back. Randy got it fixed with in 15 min. Cool in house again. They are all very honest and a great job. YOU GUYS ROCK!

I heard about Smart Comfort through a technician from Home Energy RX.
Randy initially came out to look at a new problem we were having. After going through a process to rule out other things, he came to a diagnosis. It turned out it was related to a problem we had had previously - a problem that we thought a different HVAC company had fixed. Joel, the owner, came out the next day to have a look himself since the problem we were experiencing was very unique to both our house and the system we had (that was installed by the previously mentioned HVAC company). After Joel had coming up with a solution and left us with a temporary fix, Randy came out the very next day to handle the installation of parts and materials to get our unit up to code and finally allow our house to get to the set temperature. Both were professional and respected my time as well as my wallet.

I have used this firm several times, first to do weatherization of my home, then to install a new AC and heating unit, and then annual maintenance of my units. I have some experience in weatherization, so I was impressed with the quality of that work. My AC unit was about to fail, and so they pointed out several ways my old unit was not installed very well. So I hired them to put in a new AC and heating system and they did a very good job. AND they follow up w/ regular maintenance too. So now I recommend them regularly. Most recently one of their technicians (Tommy) came out for my bi-annual service.
Smart, courteous, & extra helpful.

I recently has Smart Comfort install a smart thermostat in my home. The tech was in and out in less than an hour. Reay great service. On time. Quick. Sweet and polite! Definitely found my new heat and air company. Highly recommend!

Also the smart thermostat is so awesome! I didn't pay a dime. It's part of an Entergy energy saving initiative that Smart Comfort is apart of. And who doesn't love something FREE!

Hey these guys do WORK. Matt got my totally squared away fast and accurate. And they are very responsive and on the ball. They listened to what I described the problem to be and they had a good idea going in to it, Matt troubleshot everything and pinpointed the problem with my outside unit fan motor. Also got me a new compactor and I feel very secure about my ac being in good working order now. They stand by their work. I recommend em!

Joel and his team are great. We had a new HVAC unit put in about a year ago, and everything has been great with it. I worked with Joel at a solar company years ago that had an HVAC line of business, and people loved Joel at that place too. He knows his stuff; he's credible; and he's nice!

The way they do their bi annual cleaning was far beyond what other companies have ever done, they actually took unit part and cleaned from inside rather than just spraying cleaner on outside of unit and washing away. The detail of a system maintenance was so effective and detail oriented that my wife and I just bought a new Heat Pump and A/C from them! We bought a high efficiency Daikin One system! Again, the level of detail to the install and follow up after install has been better than any other company we have used in the past! If you call the business, the either answer or call you back immediately and if you need service for emergency service they will work you in to get your issue resolved! Best part is the are HONEST & RELIABLE! They have a customer for life!

We own a small historic hotel and cooling the place can be tricky in the summer. Joel Gates has been absolutely incredible in designing a system with traditional ducted AC and non-ducted mini split AC to cool each room and make our guests very comfortable!

Great experience! They checked out my whole house before calculating exactly what size unit I would need. Didn’t try to upsell or overcharge. Very honest and upfront throughout the process. Got the new smart thermostat with Alexa and we love it. Compared to our bills this time last year, we are saving about $80-100 each bill. Incredible! Would definitely recommend to everyone.

We have been using Joel and his team for a few years now. They have always gone above and beyond and have shown time and again that they are focused on doing right by their customers versus making recommendations that will cost more. They service our heat and air twice per year to keep everything in tip top shape. When their competitor used to come out, they tried to sell me something new on each visit. That is not the case with Smart Comfort. I trust their work and trust them.
