My warranty company contracted with them to fix my refrigerator and their technician Sonny Winger damaged the door trying to find the ice maker motor. He said on most refrigerators the motor is behind the ice control panel, but mine is under the ice bin inside the door. I think they should google prior to using trial and error.
Like others have said, it took them 6 weeks to come back after the diagnostic appointment. They arrived 55 minutes late and then left a part at the shop. After being an hour and half late, they brought the wrong part. Sonny did attempt to fix the damage he did to my refrigerator, but he damaged it again on the install. I have a scratches and damaged parts that wasn't there before Sonny took a screwdriver to my refrigerator.
I agree with the comments about the office staff, they are very unprofessional; however, the staff is a reflection of leadership. The office manager Veronica Torez is rude, unhelpful, and condescending. She said as company, they don't give out their employees last names. Ironically, Aaron gave me hers and the card Sonny gave me has his last name. Aaron doesn't verify before he speaks. He told my warranty company parts were in and they were waiting on me to schedule a repair appointment. When I called him, not two seconds later, he said he thought all the parts were in. Adding insult to injury, the part on which I was waiting was the part they damaged.
The one positive thing I will say is the service manager, Matt was helpful, he tried to make things right. When the wrong part was purchased, Matt sent Sonny to the store to buy a part and had it installed the same day. As a rule the company should open the parts to make sure everything is correct prior to arriving at someone's home. After 6 weeks of waiting, I wasn't understanding about wrong parts.
I have called the owner, Richard several times over the last couple weeks and he hasn't returned any of my calls. From the comments, I noticed he responds when he thinks his company is in the right, but he doesn't seem to respond when his company is in the wrong. Perhaps he feels convicted by his company's incompetence. -
When i called my home warranty company about my dishwasher i was glad Intertech was assigned, at first, because less then a month ago they were at my house for a different issue. At that the customer service was great and the guy who came out to my house was great. However, today is a whole different story. My home warranty sent me an email saying i would pay at the time of the service. But all of sudden today when i called they want money just to schedule and appointment. I have never had anyone demand money just for an appointment. So when i called my home warranty back they also agreed and looked up my contract which clearly says payment at the time of service, not at the time i call to schedule. My home warrant company sent Intertech an email; however, they would not reply. When i called back Jimmy was very rude and demanded the money again if i wanted service. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. OH how do i know an email was sent, because i was CC on the email.

The timer on my dryer went out and I was unable to dry my clothing. Called my home warranty company and Inter Tech was dispatched to my home on June 25. My husband was told that they had to get approval from my warranty company in order to get the repair approval. Was told it would take 48 hours- not 2 business days for the call in and we should be “squared away” by the end of the week at most.
I called my warranty this afternoon and was told that the company hadn’t bothered to contact them yet. Called InterTech to find out where the disconnect was.
Was advised by Tim (super nice guy) that when a tech comes to your home, they have to write up a report of what needs to be fixed then they submit the report to the lead tech who has to review/approve it and only then can the information be called into the warranty company. To add insult to injury it can take 3-5 BUSINESS days to receive the part once they get around to ordering it and then they have to schedule a time with you to come out and Make the repairs. I was told that they’re scheduling into late next week already- so I will likely be without a dryer until Mid-July sometime.
I’d never tell a company how to handle their business, but this way seems bulky and inefficient. I’m irritated, inconvenienced. This company may work well when an individual calls, but they certainly don’t seem with the hassle if you’re with a warranty company. -
Company is very irresponsible. I have used them 2 times through the warranty company. Their service is very poor, they make excuses for not showing up. I have waited 3 months on a part for a dishwasher that they never placed the order with the agency. As of today, I still have not gotten the dishwasher fixed. Previously they had to replace a ceiling fan, the same day of installation after waiting 4 weeks, the fan didn’t work and they told me I had to call the warranty company again to place another order which would have been $99 service charge. I will cancel my warranty if they are the only repair company for American Home Shield.

Installed a new hot water heater with raw exposed pipes, running down the street side of our home. They just ignored the original stealth camouflaged, installation that was present, and drilled right thru the side of our home. The original install had the pipes protruding thru the crawl space vent. This is obnoxious, primitive, and poor workmanship. They must hire the lower qualified techs right out of plumbers college.

I had a horrible experience with them. Called for an Electrical problem on a Wednesday afternoon they request an $172 so send someone to see the issue the next day. They apparently send someone over Thursday morning, not sure if they went or not. Called that same day in the afternoon to get a quote told me they’re working on it. Called them again later on the afternoon they told me they’re about to finish getting me the quote. Didn’t hear nothing from them until Monday. By that time I had already found another company who gave a quote instantly and got the job done quickly. Also, better communication skills. I won’t recommend Intertech i don't think they’re trustworthy neither reliable for an important assignment.

This company is extremely rude. Andrew who is the manager and Joe who answers the phone are extremely rude to their customers. I waited almost two weeks for them to send a technician out and once the technician left he had not resolved the issue. He informed his company that he installed a part which in fact was not installed. I immediately called the company wishing a 10-15 minute time span to inform them that my appliance was not working and begged for the technician to come back due to already waiting 2 weeks and they declined. They even offered I could call another company due to it being another two weeks before they come back. This is very poor customer service. And the way the manager and employee speaks to customers is extremely rude.

This is the worst company I've ever had experience with! They were called out to my house for a plumbing issue I had. When they came out to fix the leak I was experiencing, (took them 8 hours to "fix" the leak) the very next day, the leak was still present. I called to notify them of the same leak, they then sent another plumber out, plus one of the same guys who previously worked on the leak. When I pointed out that the leak obviously wasn't fixed correctly, the guy who worked on the leak said, "Oh this is something new." I said, how could this be something new, this is the leak you were supposed to have fixed previously. I called the office back again, they still wouldn't come back out to fix the leak. Not only did they not fix this leak, which they were paid to do, they also caused more plumbing issues to my bathroom. I notified them about this problem as well. They are refusing to come back out and properly fix the leak, and they are also refusing to fix the extra issues they caused to my bathroom. Furthermore, I WOULD NOT use this company. They are a waste of time and money, and they lack accountability!! Use at your own risk. Once again, they spent 8 hours in my home to have fixed absolutely nothing, took my money and ran! I DO NOT recommend this company. Their plumbers are very inexperienced and incompetent.
