I purchased several plants on 5/8/23. Sarah was so sweet and helpful. When looking at Peony Plants, she looked up the names and color until I found one I liked. Pink with a little yellow center. I planted it on 5/9/23 and it bloomed today 5/11/23. Problem is it’s WHITE! Not what I wanted at all. So disappointed!

We haven't been there in many years since we live out of town. We used to visit many years ago more often. We just wanted to see if they were still in business and had a few things we were interested in. They had what we needed and answered a few questions that we had. Now we know that they are still in business, we will be visiting more often. Great personal.

Just like their sister store Botanica Gardens, Plantopia is AMAZING! I love the huge selection of plants they have and all the neat indoor/outdoor garden stuff! So many things to see and great prices!! Staff was super helpful and even the very busy Chris Olsen took time to help me find the perfect plant for grandmother. He is truly amazing!! I will definitely be back next time I’m in town!!

Great selection and service, and they have more services when asking about bigger jobs. Bulk purchases of decorative rocks, supersoil, and mulches available. Master Gardeners welcome!

This place....I absolutely love it! They don't hound you when you walk around, and when you check out, they have an absolute awesome attitude!! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM!!

We loved Plantopia and have bought many plants and bushes there. HOWEVER we needed 2 yards of topsoil ($60) delivered. We live about 1/4 mile from the nursery. $75 delivery fee. The delivery fee was more than the topsoil! We asked for a lower delivery fee but no negotiation. We don’t know that we will ever buy anything from there again. They used to have levels of delivery fees…no more. With a Honda HRV we had no way to transport it so we did it out of need!

Chris and his staff always provide excellent service. They have the most beautiful plants in town and can also provide you with excellent tips on how to keep them thriving.

DO NOT buy top soil from them it has a lot of small pieces of plastic.
I bought soil for my raised beds, assuming it would be high quality since the place looks fancy and expensive. Lord was i wrong!

Beautiful, healthy and colorful flowers. From common loved plants to quirky, not heard by many, varieties that you won't be able to resist adding to your collection!

I came here to buy some native seeds from Arkansas that would also grow in Texas. A friend of mine loves to garden and that was her request for a gift. The were very helpful and their grounds are gorgeous. I got a variety seed pack that would grow well in our high humidity. With a mixture of Flowers and herbs. She enjoys cooking as well so I'm hoping she will like it. I will have to come back soon. This was so nice and I'd love to get more plants. Hopefully, if gas prices would go down some, I could drive next time. I would love to get more plants from here. Our Garden Center is not near as pretty and twice the price. They also were not near as helpful as these guys were. Customer Service is everything to me when I shop. The businesses here have not forgotten that tradition and are both helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous. Really great place♥️♥️♥️

This is a great place to buy rocks or mulch at the cubic yard. They allow you to also buy such products at the half cubic yard. A half cubic yard of river rock cost about $33 including sales tax. The staff is kind and friendly.

I have shopped at Plantopia for years, and love the store itself. This rating is in regards to their bulk soil delivery. I live about a mile away and it cost 75 dollars to have my soil delivered. Fine, I didn't want to deal with lugging the soil to my car and from my car. When they got here on delivery day, I asked them to drop it on top of the garden bed I had dug in my front yard. I was told they were not allowed to drive on lawns. I assured them I was the owner and they could drive on my lawn 20 ft... Alas, they wouldn't do it. Instead, they dumped all the soil at the front of my lawn that I spent the next week hauling by wheelbarrow. And of course I couldn't get underneath all of it, so it is going to inevitably kill a very large section of grass in our front yard. Had I known they wouldn't dump the soil directly onto the plot I created, I would not have spend so much on delivery.

Hit and miss with the staff..called one time to verify if a new shipment of roses were in. The young lady said she wasn't sure but would send pics of what they had. Called back since they didn't look as good, she said try back because they may get some, not sure.
Called today, different person, said will check and call back..nothing.
Good customer service is just as important as your inventory

Today I finally had the opportunity to shop here and it was amazing. They have a large selection of healthy, affordable plants that are plentiful. Plantopia was beautiful inside and out, cannot wait to go back.

This was my first visit to Plantopia, as I was visiting from out of town. I was impressed with the plant inventory, service, and other gift items! One staff member, Eden, was quite helpful! She helped me pick out appropriate plants for the space & light. Then she helped gather my plants even in the rain! She was delightful to work with - thank you, Eden!

Stopped in to check on the price of mulch by the yard. (Little tip for those who don't know, it's a lot cheaper to buy your mulch by the yard than by the bag!)

While I was there I wanted to see some topiary boxwoods and was greeted by Ms. Amanda (hope I got her name right) who assisted me and showed me around to look at the vast inventory they have

She was very helpful, kind, patient, and her customer service was top notch! She was very professional and was extremely knowledgeable. There wasn't a question I asked that she didn't know the answer to. Her answers were very detailed and on point with my questions!

If you're in need of any plants, trees, flowers, mulch, gravel, river Rock, sand, top soil, fill dirt, step stones, large rocks, flowerbed borders, and supplies or accessories to go with any of the above then I recommend going to see the awesome staff at Plantopia, you won't regret it!
