Reviews of local pros in North Little Rock, Arkansas

Bought a bag of dirt here last week and repotted a couple of plants, now the ones that I repotted have mealybugs ALL OVER. The top of the soil is fuzzy with their eggs. Won't be buying anything here again.

I've stopped here for years. Wonderful staff and great varsity of plant.

It was my first time to visit to look at prices of plants for an upcoming job. I was impressed with their selection of plants.

Made my delivery here within an hour Workers here were extremely nice and polite

If you want to relax just go in there and walk around the water fountains quite relaxing. The staff is friends and then there's lots to choose from. Prices are very high though.

Friendly staff and very healthy plants. Reasonable prices.
They are also the only close to home plant center that carries my small Mexican Petunias -
Charlie and Will brought us two Savannah trees and some dirt today. They were very polite and friendly. They put a good face on your company.

Overall Plantopia is a fabulous place to find almost anything you could need for your yard or indoor plants. And they have awesome employees. Unfortunately, I noticed that Plantopia sells multiple types of highly invasive species, such as Privet (Ligustrum sinense) and Nandina. I am extremely disappointed that Plantopia sells these species. I would have hoped that such a fabulous garden center would care about the local plant ecology and would not sell plants that have wide ranging and highly damaging impacts on our Arkansas ecosystem. I really wish Plantopia would stop selling these species.

Overpriced and the staff is rude. But, other than that, they have decent plants.

Great selection and friendly staff, definitely a great choice if looking to build out your landscaping or herb garden!

Love this plant store it is the best

This is the CUTEST LITTLE SHOP! We stumbled across it and they had so much variety and so many interesting little things and vases. The man who helped us was patient and answered all my questions abt the different types of plants we were looking at.

Great place to shop for yard stuff. The flowers and bushes bought here survive. Good prices. Big selection. Very helpful staff.

My husband and I felt very unwelcomed. This was our first time at the store. I really felt like this establishment had a sign that said "whites only" but we didn't see it. It felt like it was 1960. Unconcious biases or racial discrimination is a real thing. When we finally got real help it seemed like it was painful for Chris. We've seen him on local news and always admired his work and expertise however this establishment was not welcoming.

Over all a really great experience until I saw one associates screaming at a family with small children. He kept telling them to “move the F out of his way, he’s F’n trying to work”. He was doing all of this while operating machinery irresponsibility. Everyone watched as it happened and started talking about how unsafe he was being. I’m all for letting people know to move out of the way, but dropping F bombs to a family with properly behaving small children was unacceptable. This was my first experience with this nursery, and they have beautiful plants at great prices. I ended up only buying two plants b/c of how uncomfortable I felt....I decided it was time to leave. I would only give one star if I solely based my decision on the incident. But due to the lovely quality and variety of product, it would be unfair for me to do so.

Ok to get what you commonly need and they’ll send someone out to plant what you buy.
But don’t count on a sure answer if you call them to inquire about a sick plant with it necessarily bringing a sample of something. They don’t have an ISA certified arborist on staff and They don’t have a mobile staff of day a designer to come to your house to help with anything. -
Plantopia is exactly that. Unlimited plants, beautifully landscaped, just a generally happy place to be. I recommend walking through during a rain storm but any day is a good one when visiting Plantopia.

I love this Garden Center...There is always a fun surprise to see. The employees are so kind and helpful. The tropical plant variety is what I always look for but they have so much. I want to learn how to style my garden for the winter and I saw some pines and shrubs I might

I don't feel like Black people are welcomed. The customer service was almost zero. When we finally got the help we needed it felt as if someone forced him. Chris walked so fast ahead of us we had to do a light jog it felt like to keep up. Then once we made it to the shrubs he said the carts are up front. Like why wouldn't you let us know that as we jogged pass the carts. I said what do we need next looking at the shrub and Chris rudely looked at my wife and said he is talking to me? Like was I not standing there? Why would I be talking to my wife when neither of us knew which shrub we needed I had to show him a picture to start. The things you do for your wife. I wouldn't spend my money there especially if you are a person of color.

This is hands down the BEST plant shop in central Arkansas. I am a crazy plant lady and I give this place two green thumbs up! They have an amazing selection of plants and holders. It is worth the drive if you live in Little Rock.
