We had a great experience with Mohr. Phil came out to check over our system. We were impressed with his attention to detail. As an example, he immediately noticed that the system’s shutoffs were incorrectly wired. Phil was able to get us a good price for an air scrubber and install. He was very friendly, knowledgeable about all things HVAC, took the time to explain pricing, scope of work, issues/fixes he had completed with our system and was able to answer our questions. My wife and I were glad we chose Mohr and hope to see Phil again in the future for service.

Mohr Heating and Air tech came out to do a quality check on a unit they installed in March. The inspection was quick. He reported no issues. He didn't provide any details about what he did or his observations. I was less than satisfied with the scheduling of this inspection. I was contacted day of and asked if I'd be home. The scheduler advised a technician would be by as soon as the technician was back from lunch. I was called again a few hours later and asked if a technician could come by. I do like that Mohr sent a text stating a technician was on the way providing a picture and name of the person coming. I received the text communication after the second phone call. The entire interaction was fairly satisfactory.

Justin is a great tech! He was very knowledgeable and explained his numerous findings. After tallying up my total, he quickly got me signed up for your special financing. He immediately got to work and stayed late to finish so that I wouldn’t have to take off from work any more this week. Justin took good care of me and gave great customer service. You have gained a new customer because of this!

So, I initially posted a review fairly quickly after having my new system installed. I was so excited to have central heat and air in my master bedroom and bath. Both were add-ons and were not serviced by my old package unit. So to have the old unit removed and a new system covering my living room, master bath, and bedroom was a relief. We were using window units and a propane wall heater to heat/cool the bedroom and bathroom. I believed those days were done. During the initial review I was asked what temperatures I'd like the house to stay and I gave Joe the rough estimates. He assured me that this new high tech system was the best of the best and I'd be very happy with it. It had an app to allow me to control the thermostat from my phone and was supposed to save money on the electric bill etc. Sounded great. It was the most expensive option so I assumed it would work great! Yeah, not so much. It was installed around February. The first time it got in the teens the heater tripped the breaker twice. Not only that but the overflow sensor froze (unit is in the attic) and set an error code. The system struggled to keep the bedroom above 40 degrees even with emergency heat running constantly. Not satisfied with that at all. I had to reinstall the propane heater just to be able to stay in the bedroom. Then came the summer. The unit has never blown very hard since it was installed. I was told it was because it ramps up and down to meet the temperature demand in order to save money and be more efficient. So I just assumed that it was working correctly. Over the last few months I've noticed that my expensive new top of the line HVAC system is struggling to keep the house below 80 and not putting out much air. I reviewed the app and found the filter was nearing its limit of use. I was TOLD that I would not have to change the filter more than once a year. This has been about 3-4 months. So, I shut the unit down and requested a filter service. I thought that would fix it. It did not. I've had three different Techs come out to the house and try to fix this. I've heard it was a control board, it was the receiver-dryer, it was the freon, it's a coil blockage due to corrosion. How does a system less than half a year old have corrosion already? And what does that mean for the future when this super efficient- high cost-non working system goes out of warranty? Sorry for the long review, but I was promised a energy efficient, reliable, and more than capable HVAC system that would last for years. So far that has not been my experience. (I maintain that the two kids that installed the system were very nice, polite, and respectful. And the Techs are nice guys, they just don't seem to know much about the system.) I called twice last week for an update on the coil they are supposed to be replacing and was ghosted. No answer. Called again this morning and was told the service manager would call me back. Not happy at all with this unit and have no faith that it will be reliable in the future even if they ever do get this problem fixed. It has been over two weeks and it's still not working. Just glad I kept my old window units or we would have been having to deal with 90+ temps with no air.

Word of caution - be skeptical of their same day service guarantee. Called on Thursday midday and was told I was on the schedule for that afternoon. Around 5pm I got a text asking me to confirm for Friday. Called Friday morning to confirm they would be there that day. Was assured that I was on the schedule for Friday. Around 3:15 pm on Friday I received a text stating that they wouldn't be able to get to me on Friday and asking if I would be available on Monday or Tuesday.

The actual service and work may be great. But their scheduling is not as advertised.

Beware. Had My AC unit inspected in June because we were moving into a new to us house. Had Mohr come out they did the inspection, drain lines are clear and everything is working, and we even signed up Mohr Peace of Mind Program. 7/20 Water leaking from the attic into 2 rooms. Reach out Mohr because they advertise emergency services. Infact made a couple cars. No answer. Called another heating air company. They stated, " drain line is clogged and cut off switch is not working"!!!!
For the past 2 days I have called in the mornings and afternoons trying to talk to someone else besides the secretary and have got nothing, but they are in a meeting.
Poor customer service and no after hour services as advertised.
UPDATE *** Was told line clogging and both float switches falling was just a fluke. ( not possible), so they are taking no responsibility for damages. Said they checked the floats again and they worked. Of course they did the people that came to fix it on the Sunday night replaced them because they were not working…. Beware

Phil was awesome! He found and fixed the problem expeditiously!! 10/10. If I’d known 2 weeks later our unit would quit and I’d have to call back for another appointment which was scheduled yesterday for today and then told today at noon that you all don’t service mobile homes my review would not have been a positive one. Therefore, if I could give ZERO stars I would! By the way it was fixed by a reputable company and I’m grateful that they came, were professional, and will forever have our business. Mohr never has to worry about us again. Karma is REAL!! Guess you guys needed our money for doing a crappy job more than we do.

My mom’s air stopped working. This company told her it was “real bad”. Said everything needed to be replaced and it would cost her $382 a month for 10 years-that’s $45,820!!😳. Left her in a hot house with the temperature in the 90s. Had another company come out the next day. Had the air fixed in no time and it cost $98.
Reply to company’s response below: I’m certain everyone reading your response realizes that if had you offered an option to fix her air, my mom would certainly have chosen to do so (Oh, let me see… spend $98 and have working air now or spend $45,820 because I don’t want to waste $98 on my current system? Hmmm.) Also, Had you been a company with integrity, I would not be spending my time writing this BEWARE review.
