We've been using Covac mini-split systems in Syracuse, NY because they're top-notch. They're exceptionally quiet - unlike typical mini-splits that constantly turn on and off. Plus, they both heat and cool. The display can be hidden, which is a nice touch for those who want to minimize visibility when sleeping.

In winter, these units provide much-needed heat at a lower cost than our electric resistance heaters. We initially purchased a 12,000 BTU unit, then later upgraded to a 24,000 BTU unit. One of the best features is the adjustable fan fins that allow for slow up-and-down motion. This single unit can effectively cool our living room, dining room, and kitchen.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company. Avoid the scams that charge exorbitant prices - this guy's price is fraction of that. Boris, the owner, runs his own business and makes a mini-split for each unit, so you can easily add more later if needed. Each unit has its own compressor box, so it's not all connected to one. He works with customers on scheduling and placement, and his team is polite and gets things done quickly.

Boris himself is a great guy - kind and professional. He even accommodated our bank's daily transfer limit by waiting patiently for payment. The mini-splits deliver cold or warm air as needed, and they actually work. We were able to finally cool down our 1927 house after all these years!
